I need something for after meals, beyond just rinsing with water. Is it safe to use a waterpik immediately after a meal, at low pressure? Or could it damage the remineralizing enamel? (p.s. I manually floss daily, religiously and will continue to). Love my meals, but hate the aftertaste...

Hi, that's one of the downsides to this type of water flosser. You have to keep the water tank as full as possible and tilt your head. The suction tube inside the water tank needs to stay under water to work properly.

Is it ok to SHARE a water flosser? My husband and I don't have braces, no dental work, nothing.. He just keeps saying, I REALLY NEED ONE... I was told I have periodontal disease 22yrs ago but, I just sometimes have bleeding gums if I brushed to hard, manual..
I have been using a great electric toothbrush and haven't have gum bleeding for 6 yrs... My gums, the bottom canine ONLY on the left side, would swell and "itch" I guess.. If it became swollen I would take a dry toothbrush to "scratch" it and that felt so perfect, it hurt and bled...
After the great electric toothbrush, no bleeding, nothing.... I have zero pain, gums never swell and, I wake up and my teeth, top row, would feel like they are so loose and that if I pushed a tooth with my tongue it would fall off!!
If you're in practice still I would come to you in a damn heartbeat!! I'm just lost and seems I'm just being looked at as, "your teeth are, you need braces, swish peroxide, use peroxide and baking soda."
I just and truth and what to do!!

I don't understand this step to floss before brushing? With brushing you remove big chunks of food stuck in the teeth, so isn't there a chance of rubbing in pieces in the places that you previously flossed clean???

To clean your teeth properly, you need to remove the plaque that builds up on them. You need to use a toothbrush and dental floss (or a floss pick) to clean all sides of your teeth. I go over proper brushing and flossing technique in this video I made th-cam.com/video/zgHF0WlT-mE/w-d-xo.html
Using a water flosser isn't mandatory, some people like using it. I personally don't use one. Thank you very much for watching.
