    Tip: Put some cloth on your heatbed to not scratch the surface by accident.

    was there some sort of re-development on this? Because I bought a Revo for my Mini+ some time ago and it doesn't look anything like this?

      Revolution. The revolution of creating easy install nozzles and making 3D printing more accessible to the masses.

    Can the mount be printed in PLA or does it have to be PETG or ASA?

    • @E3DOnline
      @E3DOnline  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We wouldn't recommend using PLA.

    • @LordEisenfaust
      @LordEisenfaust ปีที่แล้ว

      You should not use PLA for anything besides decoration. Its not safe for UV-rays so it gets brittle with sunlight.

    hello! are there any benefits of using this instead the prusa hotend, other than faster heating and quick change nozzle? thanks.

    • @E3DOnline
      @E3DOnline  2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Isn't that enough? 😐 No more hot tightening, nozzle changes in seconds and improved print quality!

      Well, the reason why i just bought mine is because i'm using PLA, PETG ... and flex... And after a while of using the mini, the PTFE tube inside the heatsink gets squished a bit. And in mine it got squished enough that eventually flex (flex being what it is :P) material managed to get under and then over up the PTFE tube, creating in the end a partial block that made printing with some under extrusion. I got tired of having to open it up and clean it every few months, and getting extra PTFE tubes for the heatsink. And yes, i did raise the hot end for more squish. But eventually the PTFE tube needs replacing after being too squished.

      @@E3DOnline that's what i was wondering, does it improve print quality? :)

    • @101stsurvivor

      @@itsGeorgeAgain This was my main reason for getting it too. Also my prusa mk3s+ has a 0.6mm nozzle x and my mini is for a wider mix of stuff than my i3 is so being able to change nozzles for a wider variety of niche tasks means less fussing over my i3.

    • @Londubh

      Revo is supposed to be more responsive to temperature changes, and having a lighter tool head allows for faster printing and/or fewer motion-based artifacts

    I am getting poor print quality on all three of my Mini's with a Micro. Anywhere there is low volumetric volume it seems to over-extrude and ooze a bit. Have yet to be able to solve the issue.

      I tried both Stock, and Bondtech extruder. no luck there.
      0.6mm nozzle prints better
      0.25mm nozzle fails every time..
