    Thank you so much for this. I tried doing a color chart myself a month ago and got so frustrated. This gave me just what I needed to figure out how to actually do one!!!!! ❤️

    Great tutorial, thanks! As for labels, I would use abbreviations, like dk gray and you can adjust the leading (the vertical space between words) to make them closer. 😀

    Thanks for this info! I made my first order from AJ Blanks last night. Can’t wait to get it and make some mock ups.
    I have a question. I have an older Babylock EMP6. I’m looking to get a new machine so I can trust its consistency. Should I go ahead and go with a Melco or start with a Babylock or brother 10 needle? Just looking for opinions. Thanks! Have a great day!

    Hi what a good number of thread to keep stocked in shop? Bundles go from 20, 40, 60 and up to 120. What is a good amount to start with.

    What did you do if your thread is already loose off the skein, and already unwound, and you need to photograph it. Is there any particular way it should be done?

    I love the method you use! I have canva and dreaded the process. I would try to use the files you get from the wholesaler. This allows for so much better tweaking! Effortless! Didn't know you could drag and drop!

    I have a question...y did u write dwn the #'s if u not gonna use it? I say that to say, when a customer orders from u n choose a color, does it go by the color alone or the #?

    • @AngelaJasmina
      @AngelaJasmina  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I wrote the numbers down so when I went to the thread website I put the number in and it pulls up the correct color thread. The customers order by color and I know which number it is

    For some reason, the fonts on Canva aren't very clear and the quality isn't good. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    Honey, do Dk for dark and Lt for light. You’ll have more room.

  • @veritagwallace1956
    @veritagwallace1956 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It might be simpler to abbreviate the color names…like: Dark = Dk, Black = Blk, White = Wht, etc. 🧐

  • @contentpeckham8460
    @contentpeckham8460 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wouldn't it be easier to just label each one by the color number? Then you don't have to futz with names. I'm sure you know all the numbers by heart anyway.

    • @AngelaJasmina
      @AngelaJasmina  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is more for the customers to choose the color they want... they could easily mistype a number so I try to make it as simple as possible for them

    • @contentpeckham8460
      @contentpeckham8460 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay. I didn't realize (and you never say in the video) that the purpose of the chart is for the customer to choose the color thread for the name, hence my confusion! Sorry...

    Unsolicited advice but get you a clipboard to use when you have to take numbers or info down so you don’t have to keep doing back and forth.
