Óne small suggestion to people who go for low income jobs. Invest in yourself by investing in learning.
I am in IT field and if you improve your skill through a course, you can easily get a 20k salary.
In 2 years, if you improve by gaining experience, you can go upto 50k per month ( which is not possible in other fields easily). After 40k to 50k, salary will be stable.
No point in earning less for 5 years when you have an option to increase your salary in IT.
Hence, start studying. I will recommend courses like Python, Tableau, SQL which are easy to learn in few months.
6 months is ideal time to invest in learning. Another few months patience is also needed to get a job.

Core engineering fields are interesting and more profitable than being in IT where you have to keep fighting and upgrading yourself to move to a better position. Core jobs start with 10k-15k but without any courses and additional efforts, just with practical experience in the field, you can earn more than IT people out there without any mental stress till retirement. US IT market is already down and the future is uncertain in IT.

Invest in equity index funds. Nifty 50. Nifty Next 50. Nifty Midcap 150. S&P 500. Have 60% of investments in equity funds mentioned above. Rest 40% in traditional investment options like RD, FD, PPF etc. You will likely do better than most out there if you are disciplined for 15 years.

The 1st 2 people need some guidance. The guy in t shirt had still not invested, how is he going to start business then???? If you are investing in a business for 5 lakhs, then atleast 2-3L should be in your savings so that in times of adversity you can bank up on the savings. The 2nd lady who was talking about Gold is not the right way to invest, this is typical middle class thinking which is copied from others(just like my wife), you can invest on gold bonds which is easy to sale at any given point of time without wastage. So people think wisely do not invest on flats which has depreciation value. Be in rented house and save and buy a land, you should not be selfish in thinking for yourself, you have to think for your future generations as well, that is how our grandparents lived and left us with something at least. Invest in diverse mutual funds or FD. Also do not invest on short term funds for 12 months go for 12 years then trust me those 12 years will fly loke anything and you will have a good set of money at the end. Yes life is short make the shortness worthy enough for you and your people ar least they can find solace in it, and please do not be like the auto driver ass@#$& who thinks he is a wise ass. Typically fu@#d up mentality.
