As an introvert nothing about IT interests me other than money, I'm trying to learn many skills , I've also learnt quite few but the pressure of learning till 40 or more is something im worried about, when u age you really can't keep learning u have got other responsibilities as well like raising children, taking care of your aging parents, managing finances etc.. i hope india brings more manufacturing industries

My manager is 64 years old and he is Indian from US, a lot of people are technically strong and upto date. Learning is a key part of any engineering field, also for teaching / professor jobs. What you are talking about is lack of passion for IT.
not just IT, even doctors, everyone from Non-IT Engineering, need to learn and innovative to be very successful. What you are speaking is called survival mindset but not growth mindset

Upskilling is needed in all industries. More so in IT. That’s all.
For example, a BSNL telephone operator needed to manually connect calls in 70s. By the time they retired, they would have worked on mobile networks, broadband and computers. They would have been trained by the department.

There is very less jobs and and lakhs of people in need of job as a result we need master degrees, high grades, work overtime , upskill ourself if not we cannot sustain the competition as an employee. Besides all tier 1 and 2 companies of all industry are situated in metro cities,those who are working for the company are forced to move there where cost of living is high.Hence high expense ,less savings too much burden and health problems.😢😢😢

in my exp one must start invest early like in PPF,Mutual funds (SIP), gold, land..etc...so after 40 you will get financial stability.....key mantra is invest early for comfortable stress free life after 40s.

Bro, in my humble opinion, if you wanna imake it really big in IT field you gottabe strong in technical skills with above average communication also constantly upskilling and reskilling on different technologies atleast every 6 months.
If you do have all of the above, you dont need to worry much about job security since you have required skills to survive anywhere in the IT world.

I resigned from my job as a software developer due to work stress. But after that, I didn't get any job in IT industry. Im a BA graduate, . During my job hunting days, I realised so many things. Those who completed graduation in BTech, BCA, MCA or BSC computer science has more chances. So companies prefer Degrees to skills Mainly the MNCs, those from other non technical background has very less chance. Now a days there are so many software training centers here, they'll say that, it doesn't matter whether you from an IT background or not, companies prefer skills. But the reality is different. A few companies prefer skills to Graduation

Assisted AI and AI's roles have greatly decreased the time it takes for an employee to do his job. Today we see an average 2 hours of work being reduced thereby dev can focus on other things. This will lead to curbing recruitment and reducing the work force when 4 could do instead of having 5. AI will continue to grow and in coming years I anticipate outsourcing to reduce and this will lead to shutting down of service based industry where lakhs of our people are employed.

IT Field is broad. Coding , Support , Tech Support , Customer Support , Infrastructure Support , Networking and lot more. Pay is nowhere comparable between any of the fields. Follow through interested domain and focus on it. Note : Communication skill is must but not english is not a communication skill.

6:05 her role is non-IT, mostly technical with any degree is enough. Its BPO, KPO jobs most people don't need any degree. And automation testing / QA is stagnant field, there is no growth for testing. Go for cloud, development, cyber security, etc. Testing is most low paid job in IT. I don't you why you ask this question "Chennai vitu veliya povingala?" Chennai is not paradise, there is big world outside chennai, especially people are making in big in Gulf countries and Europe. Many people are work from home fromt their home town. In fact only very few companies pay good salaries in Chennai

I am 1 years 11 months working in startup no work life balance, more pressure less pay reality of it job...
Most intelligent and talented IT people are from south and mid-tamil nadu, from places like trichy, Tirunelveli, Madurai, etc. Most guys I have know from Chennai are following traditional path of IT, like college placement, or Masters in US or other countries. Its only people from south and other parts explore different technologies and get succeed in it. Software development is just less than 30% if IT, IT has versatile domains, you have find your niche and get succeed in it

Most of the intelligent people work in Non-IT industry, in our country IT is overrated because we see IT people everywhere and IT has big salaries but compared to core engineering it is not that tough, the only biggest problem is lack of job security and need to update rapidly as we get experience.
In IT if we get more experience our value comes down, in core engineering as we get experience our value grows but work pressure is the same in both.
