    OMG'sh I just found you! I'm sooooo excited to give your exercises a try! I'm 51 years old and for the past 4 years, I haven't recognized the woman who looks back at me in the mirror. I've had a lot of bad things happen in my life, including the death of my father, and I've really let myself go! I gained nearly 40 lbs, which I've just recently lost 20 of, and my face has aged very quickly and VERY badly! My recent weight loss has caused a lot of sagging and drooping, which is super depressing, but now I found you, and I have new hope! Thank you for graciously giving this information!!

    Please, please feel free to talk all you want on your videos. Communication is everything and it's the only way to explain to us what you're doing. I love how you cover all the various pitfalls because those of us who have been with you quite a while now realise there's more to facial exercises than 'meets the eye' (pardon the pun!) and we have to do it right, otherwise we won't get the desired results so thanks for helping us with the detail on this one. Thanks Peta for the wonderful exercise and the specific instruction. I would like to ask a big favor though, in summary are these the 3 steps? 1) looking up while isolating? 2) 45 degree angle? 3) relaxing the muscles post exercise?
    Also...why not have a recent picture of your beautiful face at the very very end of the vid to showcase the progress you've made? Your facial exercises are by far my favorites...and I like your warm and encouraging style! Keep up the great work!
    p.s. I work in physical medicine and love how you name the muscles with Dorian's help! :)

    Hello Peta, I am 46 and joined your "club" from İstanbul, Turkey just yesterday. For some time I was trying to find a proper facial exercise for myself and thanks to God, I found you. I started to do them and they are very well-explained, guided and awesome. Thanks for sharing your experience and may God help you with all your hopes in this life.
    I was quite well with this exercise although it was the first time but while doing it, I noticed in the mirror that my forehead wrinkles became apparent although I have none. Can you recommend something for that?
    Thanks again for all your efforts for spreading this awesome method which plants new hopes in hearts who have started to feel the portents of aging!

      Figen Oncu Hi Figen, thanks for asking. Yes, you will have some skin that wrinkles up when you do this exercise, as you do it, and what I would suggest is you do this very quick face massage afterwards, it releases any wrinkling - th-cam.com/video/WaLjaojn-aM/w-d-xo.html. It should help!

    Hi Peta, I am new, but so grateful to have found you! I have a question. When I push up on my eyebrows, it causes my forehead to wrinkle. Is that a problem? If so, how can I counter it? Thank you! :-) (And you look Amazing and Beautiful!) Also, I was wondering if you have a "theory" video that explains the thought process and philosophy behind the exercises so we can figure out some of these questions and not always bug you!

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Laurili, thanks and welcome to the channel. Remember to subscribe because yo will receive all the updates and coaching videos that will really help you have your questions answered. Yes, I have many of the coaching videos in the play list of my YT home page. With regard to your question, you need to press your fingers on the brow bone firmly and avoid the need to push up. Just press on the bone and dont push up with your fingers. the forehead will wrinkle a little, but it shouldn't be too much. You will find the press and plant technique that I created in the play list. Also, You need to be doing a full face routine. Here is the link to how the
      programme works and how to find the information to the programme on my TH-cam
      page - th-cam.com/video/6xq3N1nSFVI/w-d-xo.html.
      Also, if you havent already I would suggest that you subscribe to the channel
      to get important updates to how the programme works and how to practice it
      successfully and safely. :-)

    Hi thank you for you all your videos , it is remarkable the difference in your face tone over time. Can you advise me on the case of having one drooping eyelid. It seems my muscles in the forehead over that eye are non existent or v weak. Would this exercise help or would I need to do extra on one side or something different ? . Thanks in advance for any advice.

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +toh162 - Hi Toh, thanks so much! You need to be doing a full face routine to start with and this exercise is to be used along with that. Also, dont exercise just one side of your face, as you then cannot control the other lines that form on the other side of your face when doing that. I would suggest you start here - renew-me.com.au/blog/2015/12/03/where-to-start-and-how-to-use-the-facerobics-face-exercise-program-for-your-face-exercise-success/ and strengthen the muscles. But work the exercises gently, dont go like a bat out of hell (lol). Just try that for a few months, and see how you go. I think you will find that the muscles will start to strengthen in that are.

    hello Peta, one month im doing exercise, im following the series 1,and i see my skin is much more smooth, also my eyes are much more open, I feel realy good and positive!!! my boyfriend doesnt believe it is possible , but I believe. i just have problem with tiny little wrinkles under eye going downwords.i can see them only with the special mirrior for make up, may be I did the exercise too strong, may it is just showing the skin is tired i dont know, that is why im asking. I would join the webinar, but I live in India and internet connection is very bad here, not reliable. thank you!!

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +katerina hapalova - Hi Katerina, maybe your skin is dehydrating a bit. I would suggest that you find a good face cream that rehydrates the skin. Also, you could be doing them too much, are you following the programme and alternating the routines and are you going back to 50 reps when you do. All of this is very important so as not to create more wrinkles.

    Peta, I’m pretty sure it’s a great and wonderful exercise but when I do it, the upper end of my left eyebrow seem to be creasing. I don’t have any wrinkles in my forehead or crows’ feet yet but I’m afraid this exercise will start to create creases in my forehead near the end of my brow. I could see that the same crease is forming on your forehead when you do this exercise. Is there a substitute exercise for the same area that might be less complicated? I seem to be wasting 5 minutes every time trying to get my fingers in the right placement. Many thanks for these great videos.

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Andrea, this is just skin bunching that is pushing up and they are temporary wrinkles, and if it did give wrinkles I would have them all over my forehead. You need to learn the press and plant technique to avoid pushing up, there are updated exercises in the playlists for you to follow among other techniques that might help you with your progress ❤

In the three weeks that I have been doing your exercises, I have watched every eye video you have and believe I am doing the exercise properly but still get stinging and puffiness every morning. I hardly stretch up and out as you suggest. Any further advice?

    7/17/16Hi Peta, I received your message today, concerning the little tutorial tabs in the upper right corner of the series tapes. I guessI didn't really notice them before. They do help much, and thank you dear Peta, for going through the trouble to dothat. I know it will cause less answering back on questions for you as well. I see, you have a new web site going on for your skin products. Guess, I will need to figure that out, so I can start ordering products from you.I was looking back on your older tapes, and OMG !!! I can see "WOW" changes to the structure of your face, and your eyes, are those of a 20 year old, in your pictures. It is amazing the changes you have made. I feel , I definitelyhave improved, and , those improvements, are definitely worth upkeep, which , I will continue to do. I hope life is treating you well, and know you are dearly thought about !!!!xxooCarol from the ole USA

    Hello. I enjoy and appreciate your facial exercises very much, but have not had success with the eye one, where you press and hold and look straight, up, and down. When I do this one, my eyes get saggy and puffy looking, INSTANTLY!! I have had great improvement when I do the one to hold your brows and do the "surprised" lift of the forehead. I was scheduled for the eye lift surgery, and cancelled after just one day of this exercise!!!! please advise. Thank you in advance for all your help, I NEED IT!!!

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Diane Smith - Hi Dianne, you need to change the exercises about every six weeks. The exercises are meant to build on the next, so by changing them about you will develop new strength in areas that were not addressed in the first eye exercise, as there are many little muscles in the eye. I would suggest you go thru the videos and watch the instructional videos not the actual exercise videos to learn more how the programme works. Hope that helps!

  • @lauramarulli559
    @lauramarulli559 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    hi Peta, First of all thank you. I have been going through this. On this particular exercise I have a question. Doesn't this create wrinkles above your eyebrows? I mean the fact that our fingers under our eyebrows are in a way pushing up. I have looked in the mirror and I can see that it is infact creating lines. Ciao thank you again.

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Laura marulli - Hi Laura you are pushing up, not pressing down on the bone. If you push up when you place your fingers, you will see wrinkles on your forehead, so you need to press onto the eye socket instead, so as not to create the wrinkles. It takes practice

    I just started with your facial exercises. I've rewatched the videos and looked in a mirror to be sure I am doing them just as you say to. The question I have is why would the exercises cause severe headaches or blinding migraines? As soon as I release and relax the muscles and sometimes during the exercises. The headaches aren't always in the area where I exercised but often in the temple, behind the eyes, or in the back of my neck and top of the head. Am I tighten the muscles too much, or is there something possibility wrong with me? Thanks for any advice.

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rebecca, no the exercises should not cause severe headaches at all. You must be tightening the muscles too hard and using too much muscle effort. Please, stop doing them that way, they are not meant to be done like that. You will cause more problems as you are finding. With facial exercises, you cannot do them in excess. Just try easing off when you do them, and if it persists you will have to stop all together.

      you need to focus on what you are doing, and you are pushing up as you place the fingers on the brow. Also, do not worry about them, as it is only temporary and will not create more wrinkles as you are doing the forehead exercises to counteract them

      Hi Annalise, you are not to change the EAWM Series in any way. I make this very clear, do not add or change the exercises. There is a philtrum exercise in Series 3 that you will be practicing once you finish 1 & 2, and if you change it, it will change the whole series. So, please, do not change the routines that I create. You can do the knuckle exercise AFTER your finish your exercise routine. Love that you are enjoying the skincare range.

    Hi PETA. I’m a new subscriber. I know this isn’t your fault but I’m having trouble figuring out where to find HOW to do the series one exercises. Do I find a video on each of the areas and choose one exercise from each for the routine? Also, I’m 60 years old and my only complaint is hooded eyelids. I’ve had a brow lift snd mid face lift 15 years ago and only need my eyes lifted. I’m afraid I’ll make wrinkles where I don’t have them if I do the whole routine. Can you explain why the eyelids can’t be isolated without causing further wrinkles? Thank you for any information.

    Hello, Peta. Great exercise.
    I just need to ask you, ¿why do you put your fingers on the eyebrows? I understand that you are isolating the crows feet area, ¿but what is the fingers on the eyebrows for?
    You know i always need to understand the exercise, lol.
    Have a great week, Peta.
    Big hug.

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Iael Gabay Hi Iael, thanks for asking. You need to put your fingers under your eyebrows, as you are exercising that area, not the top of the eye brows. Therefore, you need to isolate the area that could cause more wrinkles. Your hands and fingers isolate the wrinkles and muscles. Your face exercises the muscles. It is two different things, but when you put it together you have the exercise. I hope that helps!
