Having given up on fufu for over a decade now, trust me I would dive into one of the bowls and hwe some nkwan paa. Always a delight to watch you bring the best of our motherland to the rest of the world. Thanks for sharing.
This was the first time watching and I’m subscribing! I’m American my father is Nigerian and we are Igbo. My mom lived in Nigeria for two years and taught us many recipes along the way- you’re teaching me so much and I appreciate it so much 💕
Madam Onuawaa, whyyyyyyyyyyy😭 that soup is calling my name in cap locks, and the fufu is so soft, love all the ingredients 👌🏾👌🏾 well done!!!! God continue to bless and protect you Onuawaa ❤️
I am from Grenada in the West Indies and I love to watch you Africans cook. You guys can really cook I must say. I tried this once, and man, that was some work. You got to have muscles to do this. Well done! I always enjoy watching you cook.
Health wise: 1. Garlic should be added when your food is almost ready(rip the health benefits when it's less cooked.) 2.Less salt and use more herbs 3.Always ensure you soak your cassava well before cooking: to get rid of cyanide which can be very toxic for your neurons. 4. Vegetables boil is okay since you still gets the benefits of things like vitamin A and lycopene. 5. Eat less meat in your diet Overall the soup would definitely make PERFECT broth for collagen production which is good for skin. Bravo👍🙌👍
Girl, I know it tastes so good and I’m planning on throwing it down on my thanksgiving table, I typically don’t do soup on thanksgiving but this year, it’s coming on live by God’s Grace. Thanks for the recipe
Yass!! Sis anyway to sneak in those veggies is always the best. I'm making goat meat pepper soup and green plantain right now and blending up some more veggies like you did. This soup looks gorgeous just like the cook. Thanks for sharing sis 🤤🤤🥰🥰
Girl, it’s like you read my mind... this is exactly what I’m making as I type this comment. Looks delicious 😋 Green zucchini is also a good one and red bell peppers. Yes we have to beat these kids to them not eating their veggies. Take care sis.
Hey! This Fufu...."Mr Goaty" Light Soup... "Has My "Endorsement" All Embossed On It!..Looks So Delicious!😃👍❤ I "Smell" The Soup All The Way In Miami! Now, That's The Way To Celebrate Sunday! Be Well. Bon Appetit!😃❤👍
Hi, I'm from Guyana and it's the first time I'm watching your show. What caught my eye and caused me to click on it was the word fufu. My grandparents used to make that for us growing up and they did it the old fashioned way by pounding and as children we used to help as we thought it was fun. But it brought back a lot of memories, happy childhood memories, so thank you for that. Pounding or no pounding, fufu is fufu and we used to have it with beef stew too. Wonderful memories. God bless.
What a pleasant surprise. I would never have known Fufu is eaten in Guyana. Truly we are all one family! Happy to know this brought back cherished memories of your childhood. Thank you!
@@KwankyewaasKitchen Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. You see, Guyana is a melting pot of 6 races, Africans and Indians were brought down in the 18th and 19th century to work the sugar estates, to Guyana and the West Indies, so that's how fufu came to us. We're all brothers and sisters, God bless you.
I refuse to be tortured by food- i fight back and cook it exactly the way you do. I think Our pap in South Africa will pair beautifully. It is our fufu. Lovely recipe and inviting to be tried.
Thanks dear, you did extremely well. Woy3 Ghana nii ampa. Today it is short, so I have been able to watch. Kindly keep it short so some of us can watch it since we have limited time, I beg wai because you are one of the best cook and favourite as well
You can also use the purple eggplant . take the skin off and blend with your vegetables. It works the same as the garden ones, the ones we have in Africa. But you have to take the skin off.

I've never had fufu( I've had plantains and yucca separately), but it looks delicious! I'd like to see the pounded one if this was the simple version. It was fun to watch. I love your channel!
See.. I love crunchy peanut butter. I think I'd like that a lot. I'm not great in the kitchen, but I like watching the videos pretending like I can make this 😂😂

I've eaten fufu but never knew how it was prepared, l was always told to swallow it not chew.
@Lorraine Prall this is not the only means of preparing fufu. There are quite a number of methods for preparing fufu and this method is one of them.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I've never had fufu( I've had plantains and yucca separately), but it looks delicious! I'd like to see the pounded one if this was the simple version. It was fun to watch. I love your channel!
Hi, the pounded one has a thicker or more grainy texture if you will, like crunchy peanut butter as opposed to the smooth one. It's really good.
The pounded one has a slightly better texture, doesn't look as translucent but requires a lot of energy to pound.
See.. I love crunchy peanut butter. I think I'd like that a lot. I'm not great in the kitchen, but I like watching the videos pretending like I can make this 😂😂
Yaaayyy..... I'm on time.
