Thank you so much for this video. I could half-see in my head what needed doing but having a visual helped so much. I used this method on our trampoline and it’s still going strong 2 years later ☺️
Thank you for the video. I could not find a good commercial solution. I spent a few days debating whether to go to the effort of your diy solution. Glad I did! Once I finally got started it went pretty quickly. I still have some finishing up to do (screwing in the feet extensions) but I can tell it’s going to work great. Thanks again!
😃 *Excellent thinking!* Very creative ingenuity. This video deserves way more views. Definitely trying this as I too, would rather not dig up my garden and it means the trampoline can be moved to another part of the yard too. THANK
Update: never used the stakes to anchor this to the ground... it never moved even with 3-4 or more kids jumping over 10 months. I’m still using the same setup as you see in this vid. Also, yes.. the “feet” you see (2x4 blocks as “feet”, are attached to the long 3’1” extensions from “underneath” (screws from the bottom up vs top down, so you can add more “feet” as needed. 2”- 3” screws is what I used. They will go through each “block” to the next as needed.
Thank you so much for this video I am kind of wondering if I really need more than just two footings for the side where my yard dips down doesn’t seem like I should need these on the high side of the lawn is there a reason why you did all legs of yours?
Might be able to just use only the 2. Give it a try, you can add more. I did all to make it more secure to the ground & the cost was minimal. Plus, didn’t want to keep running back n forth to Home Depot for more materials if needed ; )
I just ordered a new tramp for my kids and I also have a steady declining backyard similar to yours and was thinking how to level it without tearing up the yard cause I too have an underground sprinkler system. Will be hitting up Lowes to try this idea out. Thanks for the creative inspiration.
Jeremy Semlinger / Originally, I was going to drill holes on both side (left & right) of each leg extensions & put 1’- 2’ stakes for anchors, but never did.... the extensions never moved while the kids were jumping on it, so I never installed them! But, if you find yours do move, this would be the application to prevent this.
Jeremy Semlinger / Also, yes, I ran screws through the main “leg(s) (underneath) to attach them to the 3’ sections. Get 2.5” to 3” screws or longer @ Home Depot. You can always attach more blocks needed on each side depending on the leveling you need to do. (Adding each block, then screwing it to the other from underneath vs top to down)
Melinda Hathaway / My son & I have moved it before to mow, not hard to do & the extensions stay on. But my son can mow in between the legs as far as he can go & squat down w/trimmer and do the cleanup.
ke ning / Saint Augustine grass. (Austin, TX) Note: If you have a underground sprinkler system, make sure you “mark” (light color spray paint) where the sprinkler heads shoot out, so you don’t cover these with the wooden legs...!!
JJGinck 32 / so far so good. These boards are treaded (kind of) from Home Depot. However, applying some sealer (Thompson’s or similar) would be a good idea
Are the 2x4x8 screwed into the bottom boards as well? Or just the top piece holding them together? I am ready to tackle this, this weekend and was thinking about bolting them together. Thank you for this.

what type of saw/tool did you use to cut the 2x4's?
I will second this statement. I got the straps but it doesn’t even move without them
How about using RV levellers? 2 on each side?
@@srkd7901 never used these before, but worth a try! Thanks for sharing!
Just setup a rectangle tramp and need to level it and here I am and I’m definitely going to try this method!
Followed your instructions and got to balance our trampoline 🙏😊👌

Just built some legs based on your design! Hope it held up

This is awesome. I have uneven concrete in my backyard, multiple slopes. Do you this approach would work on concrete rather than grass?
Ellen Robinson / I’m guessing it would work. I haven’t staked it down & it doesn’t move at all while the kids are jumping on it.
Does the trampoline kill the grass?
What do you use to prevent blocks from sliding?

How do you mow underneath it? Is it hard to move? Thinking I might have to make the same thing for my uneven yard. Thanks!

I’m trying to level mine right now and it’s a headache. I’m definitely gonna try this
Still working great after 4yrs. (better than the trampoline that is starting to fall apart….)
Good idea
Genius! Thanks doing the same thing with mine
by the way, what is the grass type on your backyard?

Whit the prices of wood today, that would be around a $1000 😅
Any issues so far with the wood rotting?
JJGinck 32 / so far so good. These boards are treaded (kind of) from Home Depot. However, applying some sealer (Thompson’s or similar) would be a good idea
Thank you for the video man
Thanks. Great idea.
Great idea.
You and I have very different definitions of "quick." Good job though.
that's nice! good thinking!!!
Great hack!
Thanks for watching!
Great idea
Put your video into use today. Thanks!!
Joe Hulsey / Good to hear! My kids use this more, than ever. (COVID) Mine is holding up very well. You’ll be glad you did it!
Sorry! 2x4x8 ft. Not (2x4x9 - studs)

Danger
Nice solution. But, acrosst is not a word
Thanks for watching & English lesson..... let me know when you come up with a idea worth sharing. I’ll watch it! (I’ve looked @ your channel.....)
