She's more badass than the MCU version.
In addition to be more faithful.
Don't speak to soon! I feel MCU America is just a big younger experience wise and will come into her own by her next appearance.
The only thing that bothers me is why does she have to learn portaling from the temple when she's meant to be effectively portaling through the multiverse for at least a decade or so.
I get that they said it was mostly accidental but man you'd think after 10 years she's have learnt. 10s a random number mind you I don't know officially how long she's been portalling just guessing.
Also she's supposed to have superhuman strength so I don't get how they explain why she doesn't have that or how she'll get it.
My guess is they'll make her attacks strong via start punches and kicks/i.e. channeling her portals as concussive energy but it still removes her ability to rip things apart with she bare hands which is too bad.
One of the things I loved about her is she's a strong ass boss lady latina chica.
But still holding my breath. I feel the actress has potential as her career evolves and there's an opportunity for her to seem confident and strong in contrats to the mostly weaker other young avengers we have so far in the MCU
"I know you aren't grinding My gears idiota" That might be my favorite line from her.

She’s a newer character, but she’s got like two different origins, so adaptations are usually vague on her powers

@@obijr192 True, thanks for the list. I was mostly referring to how her powers are magic based in one origin and more science based in another. They kinda blend together in Marvel though

@@mmmghool in Marvel rising and in the comics one of her origen stories is basically a girl version of Superman because she's mosesd to usa _Earth when her first home is destroyed and grows up on our world. The Santanas (her adoptive family's name in the comics) =Kents and she's Kal -El /Clark Kent.

Mcu Chavez got x-men Rogue treatment. But it wouldn't hurt to have these powers on a colorful movie like multiverse of madness.

She can be so annoying,arrogant and forges ahead with no regard of logic and reason which frustrates me like A LOT unlike Kate,Kamala,Shuri and Squirrel Girl along with the others
Makes almost never watching this show had not been Kamala, Squirrel Girl, Ghost Spider and Quake along with the others like Shuri and Patriot
2:44 to 2:47 says the orphan girl who doesn't know what it feels like to have a family who worries about their daughter being a Superhero
Unlike her Kamala loves her family and they mean so much to her and she needs them,not to mention that she has responsibilities unlike Muscle Mouth Bike Girl who has no responsibility whatsoever

Opinion is opinion but she only 14 year old in mcu, what do you expect ? Besides There's a thing called “character development”. People would critiques, complaining and they will say “it wouldn't make sense that 14 year old know martial art and to be badass level like thor”.

I feel like this series was a young justice style but with marvel heroes. I must say that I love the character designs but the animation and the storylines are not that good as the whole YJ series.
