I really suggest you to check out the Bleach anime. It's one of those series you should watch. This is especially true these days since the Bleach anime is finally getting an adaptation of the final arc in the manga. The manga concluded a little while ago and the Bleach anime was left unfinished.
When season 17 coming out tho? They say it coming in 2021, but we already 5 months in 2021 and nothing so far? I'm on ep 267 so i'm still quite far away.

There has never been a precise date for the release of the final season, it will probably arrive after the bleach expo of December 2021, so it will be released in the first months of 2022

Yeah me too. First and Last openings always get me really nostalgic. First cuz its so iconic ans old and last opening because of the chapter intros. No one that has not seen Bleach would get the reference from the opening and I liked that detail :,(

The black haired girl's name is Rukia, the main heroine, the ginger one is the secondary female lead, orihime . Tbh the last one is hella annoying and if you watch it you will definitely get why . Rukia in fact wasn't Ichigo's romantic interest , but certainly was more than a friend, they were and still are soulmates , they understand each other, protect one another and grow together, but romantic feelings were never involved, it is more like a family /platonic love. Rukia was in love with another guy and you saw him numerous times in the opening, Renji Abarai , a red haired guy with tattoos and snake sword, you kinda guessed the typical storyline aka : "grew up together, almost killed each other, reunited, recognized their feelings, got married, had a baby girl." Many fans wanted ichigo to end up being single, but Kubo paired him up with Orihime, many weren't happy because at some point it seemed like a fan service, however the ending perfectly lined up . The other main squad characters besides Ichigo , Rukia, Renji and Orihime, are the strong , tall, brown guy -Chad , the skinny guy with black hair and glasses- Ishida. I think you just have to give this anime a try , because its actually the most realistic one out of all the golden trio (Naruto , Bleach and One Piece) and the story is written really well , the characters aren't two dimensional (besides orihime , sorry to her fans) and have depth , within their actions and motivation.
So glad to see Bleach up here. One of my earlier anime when I learned what anime was. Would love to see you react to The Rising of the Shield Hero openings. I think you would enjoy them.
The black haired girl is not the love interst. She's more like her initial mentor and then comrade from then on. The initial arcs have a lot to do with her so that's why she seems to have the heroine role. Then as the story progresses, she's still there as a friend but the focus shifts to different characters. The love interest is someone else, but I don't want to spoil too much.
a little fun fact: Bleach was one of first of very few og anime to normalize proper representation of POC and LGBTQ+ in the anime/manga industry. 2001 for the manga and 2004 for the anime. It's not uncommon now for anime to have LGBTQ+ and POC characters but it definitely was very rare for a series to represent them back in early 2000s without them having negative stereotypes.
@@ohhSuki There are many LGBTQ+ characters in bleach. Chizuru blatantly a lesbian, Tatsuki shows signs of affection towards Orihime, same with Soi-Fon towards Yoruichi. Yumichika seems queer and very flamboyant. Charlotte Chuhlhourne and Giselle Giwelle are transgender, and Yuushiro is androgynous. There might be more but these are the only ones I can think of right now.
