Never fished for barbel but if Korum and Dean want to invite me for a session, i would be more than happy to learn, especially as i live so close to the Trent.
Hi all I used too fish the trent many years ago,50 years infact, luncheon meat an a strip of grass to keep it on my hook, lots of big eels also on the lob worms Attenborough area night fishing the whole week end then on to the canals in long eaten area for chub an pike on the spinner,I miss my fishing up north now an it's a dying hobby hear a awaste of time fishing for stockies
Have to get Dean to try a session on my private paddock on the Trent in Collingham just up from the weir, could do with some tips as only just acquired it.
@@alanbowles1985Drennan will be on there next week. Alan Scotthorne ‘how to catch double figure Barbel on the flat float’ Now that is a feature I would love to see! 😂
cant stand dean on tele infact i cant watch him i turn the telly over but on this he seems a bit more chilled and not over the top, will gladly watch him now.
Get a grip, we never pre bait or close off any swims. How can you pre bait a flooded river, the bait would be half a mile down stream by the time we got there. Give your head a wobble.
@KorumFishing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 great reply. But too be honest you didn't know how old I was or how experienced I am at angling, yet your answer was rude and unprofessional, I am a big korum product fan an that won't change because your wrong ??
Can’t go wrong with a bit of macey and barbel 👍
Really enjoyed this video, down to earth nice watch
Nice to see you part of korum now . Just love watching all the vids they produce 👍
Great video Deano, loved it ! Top content as usual sir!
Macey is the man! Sneaky little macey with a size 10 and a bit of floating bread. Like to see river carp fishing with macey
Lol
Really nice no nonsense film Dean, great brand, well done.
Great video, Nice to see you’ve joined Korum. All the best for the future.
Well done Dean, the water temperature may have been cold but you still had four barbel. That’s pretty good in my book!
Fantastic movie Dean! 🎉

Enjoyed that 👍.
When the water is up and couloured i tend to reduce my hook length down to 18". And absolutely ram the feeder so some stays in there. Works a treat

Love to see it!
Superb session. What brolly is that you're using please?
Jesus, every other week there’s a feature on that peg. More famous than Cromwell weir! 😂
Good video though
I wonder who will be there next week. 😂😂😂

Great video as per usual. I think Korum are the brand of the people. Made by the people, for the people. What reel is that btw?
I got my pb 15lb on trent and pb bream 7lb in 2hours last 4 times i went blanked 😊
So are your hitting the clip then quickly taking the line out the clip to stop it swinging back loads and then paying out line?
Good question. I can’t figure it out either. Do you take the clip off when you have cast in - ready for a run? I need someone to explain 😂
@@bluezorro999 yes you normally take the clip out after you have cast in
