    I'm in the middle of a Microsquirt conversion and your videos have helped me to make sense of things.

      I’d fully agree with that! It’s made it much easier. The only thing that varies is that im using a single coil not the wasted spark set up

    Thank you for this. Having an issue with a microsquirt conversion on a sr 20. I think this may be my next move.

      Thank You for Being Awesome and leaving a comment! Way cool engines sr20, the sr, in a 240? This setup so much more crisp with rough tune , than the one finely tuned on my wagon with a 62-2 wheel or whatever the dang thing is. I noticed it in the sound of it right on start up, between the two, its night and day when the chip doesn't have to math per revolution and get sludged up with calculation I think. So I will be doing it to the wagon as well, and any other serious engine I work on. Think of it as perfectly synchronizing it to the chip. Mechanically you do a tdc check, then you degree the cam, this is degrees the cam , in a mechanical comparison, that has everlasting massive benefits in efficiency and has no choice but to translate into further reliability as I can imagine. Sure the other triggers work, but, we need more than just function, we need accuracy and efficiency. I think this is the way @rori1891 . Thank you so much for commenting and watching, You Rockl!

    are u using a vr conditioner circuit with at the speeduino ?

      It's running on microsquirt so its either built in or none at all. I just wired it and fired it. After programming of course.

    i think i have same timing issues with 180 degree gap. it works while cranking but gets messy when trying to start. would moving the trigger wheel help? moving the sensor is really hard

      id play with your warm up enrichment and starting maps on the cooling sensor first , or unplug and see if starts, if so, you got some tuning to do.

      @@gc2353 correct just like my wagon daily that i built 7 years ago. But the wagon uses the stock flywheel trigger with a few resistors on the sensor so it doesn't wig out.

      On that DIY hall sensor did you need to wire a resistor with it ?

  • @Schmitty_Luv2

    Would you happen to know which crank trigger tooth wheel and which HallEffect sensor (with what amount of wires) I would need for a 1996 Nissan 240sx ka24de I would need?

    • @TurboWorld
      @TurboWorld  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are microsquirting it, the same that i showed in the video, weld it on to the crank pulley. I don't know what they come with, sorry, i have worked on a few but I forget if it has cas and what the tooth count is.
