Hey Possible History! I really like your channel and your videos have Inspired me to make alternate history scenarios of my own. I also have a suggestion for a scenario, “What if Denmark became a major colonial power?” It would be very interesting to see how history would change.
Napoleon rarely made republics after his ascendance to the throne, most probably he could choose one of his brothers as new monarch of GB.
I think he would choose to establish a republic in Britain after he saw how the catholic Stuarts were kicked out and how expensive that conflict was for France. He would probably realize that a puppet monarchy wouldn’t work.
Making them adopt the Napoleonic code basically turned them into a proto republic
@@ommsterlitz1805 they were semi-absolutist monarchies. there is no evolution between monarchy and republic they are just two ancient different political systems. so calling a monarchy, a proto-republic is wrong. see politics as evolution is a very 19th-century point of view just like Karl Marx.

Plausible alternate history and smooth jazz was something I didn’t realise I needed until this video.

Idea:
1- What if Germany didn't annex Alsace Lorraine after the war against France? And what if the two actually became allies?
2- What if the Ottomans conquered Italy
3- What if the Americas didn't exist and what if the Spaniards and Portuguese colonized Asia instead of America.
4- What if everything went perfect for Persia/Iran
In you first idea there is no Germany. The annexation and with it a buffer against French aggression was a condition for the southern kingdoms joining
Spain and Portugal would never be able to colonise adia
Everything going perfect for Persia (I’d say the restoration monarchy or the republic), that would have huge changes on modern day. Suddenly there is a powerful US ally right on the Soviets doorstep and Persia may be a top 3 economy.

If Spain and Portugal can't conquer most of Asia even with wealth from the Americas coming into their coffers, I doubt they'd be able to do it in this timeline

I would argue that, atleast in the first scenario, prussia would be able to bounce back, via smaller conquests and wars that are overlooked by the great powers, and landgrabs during another partition of poland.
This would likely turn out in prussia being even more aggressive, leading to either a complete domination of the continent as the other great powers fail to keep up with prussua taking them out one by one, or the complete destruction of prussia in a later early WWI, which leads to an unstable German unification under Austria instead
What if France Conquered Britain in this war, forcing the British government to relocate to Philadelphia and establish an Elective monarchy to placate the colonists along with reorganizing parliament into a Senate and House of Representatives with a independent Supreme Court? Portugal is also forced to flee to Brazil.

@@RMProjects785 The western territories are Native American tributary states with Texas also being an what would be an ‘Columbian’ Puppet State. While instead of there being a war with Mexico, Mexico just collapses eventually due to not being able to control its northern territories.

@@adamsosna7263 Never watched it but I do know based on maps that they control all of the Americas. Plus my idea is this is more of an America that has an monarchy. Slavery is still a thing but they are treated as minimum wage employees due to labor laws and people not remembering why slavery was a thing as slaves are now personal companions

5:10 Is that even possible? It's not geographically connected to the rest of Russia and is surrounded on three sides by Poland-Lithuania. Methinks the victors would instead split off more of Prussia's holdings in mainland Germany into independent states.
EDIT: Nevermind, the Russians give it to the Poles in exchange for Courland and other parts of the Baltics.

William (or Guillaume his real name) was still the vassal of France even as king of England.
Furthermore, being Norman didn't prevent him to feel far more related to France than Scandinavia.

Do a what if Prussia won the seven years war. I mean sure their side won but at the start they went on the offensive and probably had some territorial claims after all they even occupied parts of Bohemia before having to retreat later. The war started by looking like they’ll win decisively and by the end the goal was just for Prussia to survive and not be annexed.
Maybe look into this scenario a bit idk.

That Napoleonic victory looks crazy. Cant wait for the culinary arts to truly be in their best timeline.
Not sure alternate revolutionary France does as well, given with Poland still existing they lose a source of support in the east. Plus there is always the option of Poland, Austria, and Russia dogpiling the Ottomans, while France is in turmoil and in no position to counter balance intervene.
