Agreed, I always prefer the full, unedited streams over the chopped up, tiny spoonfuls for wittle babies 👶 We can always skip ahead ourselves if needed. One of my other favorite SMW hack and SMM troll streamers started heavily editing his videos... clearly chasing after Lilkirbs view count numbers, and I can barely stand to watch his channel anymore. I'm obviously not talking about Barb, but if you used to watch who I'm referring to, you probably know who I'm talking about. I don't want to put them on blast because it's their choice. I just don't give a damn about tiny 5 minute or less videos.
I really appreciate the editing of this video I usually find myself skipping ahead a lot to get back to the part Barb just died at, but this video does a good job of cutting out most of that stuff so I was able to mostly just watch - very good choices for how I personally like to watch
Awesome stuff! That pipe-throwing item level was amazing. You said it was a little clunky at the end, but I was blown away as an aspiring lunar magic/asm maker. This hack really has my attention for decently readable, but inventive custom mechanics.
You mention the Marbles game in this video. I only saw it covered before when you put up Unmetal videos. Is there any actual skill to winning Marbles once it starts, or is it more of a pretty way to show off a random-chance outcome?

On one hand, the premise could be a good absurdist joke but on the other hand it's something that's easily mistaken for what it's satirizing when not handled with enough care, and so far I don't think this hack has handled it particularly well if it was trying to satirize. It's worth noting though that there's limitations to the medium and the genre at play that make it difficult to have the kind of clarity I'd want out of it.
I'm on the side of there's always another planet we can always send a few hundred people to another planet to survive what does it matter if we destroy this one and by the way in case you couldn't tell I was being sarcastic
It bugs me that all this effort in terms of plotting and design, with unique level themes, and sprite imagery, is put into a kaizo-type mod, which is a type that only appeals to a specific subset of people, and has such a large barrier to entry that most people won't even bother. Could've put that effort into something with normal level design, but I guess that would've just been too accessible and you can't let the scrubs enjoy things.
