I’d be shocked if GT7 goes to PC and here’s why. 1. Sony have stated it’s up to there studios to decide if they want to port games to PC. 2. Kaz has stated many times that he’s not a fan of the PC market because it’s oversaturated with racing games. 3.cheating would be a major issue and knowing PD cross play would be non negotiable and there would be no way to turn it off. 4. Having to support another platform like PC when they struggle to support PS4/PS5 would be a nightmare.

The thing is each cars in gt7 are nextgen proof who are ahead and usable for at least 10 years or even more longer and still looks fantastic because of how much precise the details are and i can see them using those models for gt8 and 9 that's the goal now If you don't know polyphony digital have ways to call their cars models the standard cars are from gt1,2,3 and 4 and still used in 5 and 6 you have premium cars who are from gt5 and 6 and now the super premium cars who are from gt sport and gt7 even tho at least 10 standard cars have been up to super premium cars in gt6 during is lifetime They want to use the super premium cars as something who don't get old after a long time like you can see in forza or the crew how much cars can looks bad with old models Players want more and more cars who looks good that's why i think polyphony want to do what they have already done in gt5 and 6 with more than 1000 cars but this time with only super premium cars for gt 8 and 9 If you look gt7 the cars are just perfect and you can feel that the environment of the game is not looking as good it can be better but if you use those perfect cars in a more details tracks with better light renders and réflection you don't even need to go further for the cars details and that's what polyphony will do for the next gran turismo
Great video. I agree with you about the hate GT7 got because the micro transactions. They made such a big deal out of nothing they are not forcing you to have no option but to buy. I never once bought credits I played and earned it. If anything about GT7 I don’t like I would like more career races

As a PC and Xbox guy I cannot wait for GT7 to hit PC. I've been a diehard Forza fan and I was so disappointed by FM24. I can't even play the game for more than 45 mins at a time.
It is sad to see the end of an era for GT by coming to pc. That said I support it for one reason. Truly it was disgraceful to watch the filth in this community try and ruin GT7 legacy at launch and I hope it hits it out of the park once and for all on PC to really put a finger in the eye of these whiny haters.
Bro, it was absolutely disgusting what the community did at the start of this game. It was all coming from console wars too. Every car game out there has locked cars behind paywalls, yet people screamed and ranted at GT7 for no reason. When the game came out, it was beautiful, man. It really pissed me off because I saw the effort and work that had gone into this game. It's the only track game out there with this amount of love and attention, and for it to get review bombed was a disgrace. It affected their sales a lot. Releasing on PC won't change the media and "sim purists" minds one iota. They will continue to bang their drums for whatever game they played originally and while some might buy GT on PC the majority will pirate as they're doing already with the new PS games that were already cracked or illegally copied for sale or for free redistribution from a single GOG purchase. The problems with PC gaming are many. If PS puts its single biggest IP on PC, it might actually hurt PS... as a brand. That would be really bad for GT fans in the long run because if PS is hurting, GT as a franchise goes bye-bye.

Great comparison as always but I gotta disagree with you on something. The reason people were complaining about the microtransactions at launch in gt7 was because polyphony was intentionally nerfing race payouts significantly within the first 3 months of the game, making earning money WAY harder than it should be. I remember watching a video where a guy claimed he grinded 1 hour of racing for only 300k. Even now, I still believe race payouts are still too low but they aren't as bad as they were at launch. Not trying to come off as a hater, just wanted to put my 2 cents in🙏
Hey, this channel is built for debates and opinions. The new Forza is receiving a lot of hate because of how they marketed the game, so it's just for a laugh. But I'm open to other people's opinions. First of all, thanks for the comment. But GT has always been a grind. I played day one on GT7 and made over 3 million in one day, which allowed me to buy a lot of cars. Back in the day, you would be stuck with a 10k car for a few days, haha, so to me, it was fine. If you get what I mean, the grind is needed in games, if you ask me. I love working for my cars, and when it comes to spending money, I have to think about what car I want next, and to me, that's the enjoyment. I guess it's just personal preference though. But in the original GT games, you were stuck in a poor car for ages, working your way up. It would take ages to get a special car around 500k, haha, so I love the grind.

I loved earning money in gt3 cause every vehicle had a purpose for an event, not making events boring or uninteresting. However in gt7, I feel quite limited in earning money in the events for having so many cars that I simply cannot use them in outside of freeplay mode.

Sony is facing a $10 billion deficit, which is significant for them. Releasing games on PC on day one is almost a necessity now. The leaked files are from a source that has been reliable with previous leaks; most leaks are orchestrated by companies to gauge public reaction. That's often how game leaks occur-through fake leaks to test public response.
It probably won't come to PC because of cheaters and modders. PS would also be out of their minds to release it on PC as it's been a consistent hardware pusher. Since the first one was released, players would buy a PS console just to wait for GT, and that first became evident in the PS3 era, but that opinion held true for PS4 and PS5. If PS releases GT for PC, it could significantly reduce interest in PS consoles, which could translate into lower unit sales. This generation, we have very few true PS exclusives. If all PS games go to PC, there's no reason to buy a PS, and PS knows that. They could be considering releasing GT7 or the next GT game for PC, but I do think that would be a monumental mistake for PS.
They could make the game somehow unmoddable just like DR2.0 was, only extremely basic mods are available for it to this day and livery skinning is kind of a PITA

this could be a hint that Sony/Playstation could have a prototype console with NVidia graphics. Leaping to the conclusion a hidden driver equals port is a bit too big for me. The prototype console could be a portable device; then NVidia makes perfect sense since they have been involved with several handheld gaming devices and it would seem natural that some new generation of PSP would have a version of GT7. My pc is decent, I'd like to see how it would look/perform. Mostly curious about night lighting and how much it might improve (more headlights, less popping, longer distance, etc). I have a 14700k & 4070; mate has a 7800X3D & 7900XTX; either it would look great and would want to do comparisons on how AMD vs NVidia handle the ray-tracing (brute-force vs native iirc?); how good can you set the graphics for different framerate goals (60, 75, 120, 144). Then you get into PSVR2; instead of it rendering quality with eye-tracking and the rest being not-so-nice if you watched recordings ... a wider section of the user's field of view or possible the entire render of both screens could be full resolution with a powerful enough pc. The ability to track more information and have it displayed. Tons of advantages could be had; but the disadvantages nightfox stated are real. Cross-play has its issues and so does segregated playerbases. PC would have to retain popularity on its own to fill lobbies and tournaments ... or there might have to be some anti-cheat layer if cross-platform that may affect the ability for a sub-section of players to engage for various reasons. Focus and labor efforts being split to take care of bugs on a platform that is not 'controlled'. It would be easier for GT7 to come to Apple's current OS because the amount of hardware is limited vs the random crap random people own across the world and bug reports unrelated to the game; just 15 year old glitchy hardware on hard drives with viruses, haven't been defragged since those fancy big 1 TB drives dropped to $125 at Walmart in the 90s. I'd much rather them continue to focus on PS5/PS5 Pro. I'd rather those efforts go to bringing back more classic cars (80s/90s JDMs like AW11 MR2s or the last Pontiac Trans Am, etc we've had in past GTs) and tracks we don't have that would be great fun and nostalgia. More tracks, more cars, while also continuing to do things like the last BoP change to do their best to keep things balanced and fun. Longer races seem to be returning as well as tuning races. I think they need maybe one or two more weekly races; as it feels like it would allow them the first one's one-make no DR 'fun' race; a gr4, gr3, an endurance race 40-60m, and a wild card say gr1/Formula 20-40m race or a longer GrB race. going to look up the mist thing that was mentioned, curious

@@olavofernandes7286 less fear of 2 and 3 and just knowing it is a given they'd combat cheating and eventually the code will be hacked. 1 is more about the diversity of devices and their state of software and hardware than anything. They'd port in-house. They could set up PS5 OS as a dual-boot option on a fully AMD based system and have it running (Sony/Poly collab ofc) pretty easily. But then you have Intel and Nvidia GPUs, APUs, integrated graphics, Intel CPUs, varioius RAM manufacturers at different timings, speeds, DDR3/4/5, widely different amounts of VRAM and speeds, etc etc etc. Not worth it when you have your controlled platform OS cleanliness, minimal hardware variability, etc. It is not coming, but a interesting ponder. Again, I think the driver hints at a portable device; maybe a PSP2, the 'Portal' thing is a stepping stone maybe.

I think you’re blaming the wrong games for the current state of the industry. Yes, they definitely contribute, but EA is the one that started it with the very first FIFA game to have card packs. Also, Fortnite has a pretty damn good battle pass. I have not been upset with the passes they have. Plus, the content is just damn good. If anything, companies need to look at them for inspiration. They also need to look at Hell Divers 2 for inspiration where the entire pass is free.
My favourite car, shame Turn 10 and Playground Games did such a crap job with it. It looks pretty decent while in the garage, then in game everything gets downgraded for no reason. Vents are blacked out, engine is a pixelated block, interior colours are wrong and they use the same dashboard for the 92, 05 and 05 GT models even though the 92 NSX-R is supposed to have a completely different dashboard. They just copy+paste across all three models, same brake disc models, same dashboard, same seats, same interior trim.....it's absurd.
GT 7's "updated from GT Sport" car model vs Forza Motorsport's "Built from the ground up" car model🤭 I mean, GT 7 isn't without its fair share of problems but let's give credits when it's due.
You know, i thought at the beginning, GT7 had more water spray behind cars during the rain at launch. Kind of dumb they slightly made it less. Hope they bring it back. I personally dont care for the VGT cars. I don't hate them either though. But I want more real world cars. A lot of older normal road cars and stuff like that. No more vans or ambulances. I so want more race cara too though. One thing i really like in FM is the Type R TCR car. It's my favorite car to drive. I miss the Honda Spoon Sports cars in the older GT games as well. I don't mind the fake tracks either. Definitely love Trial Mountain. Thats a nice one to have back, but i really want more real life tracks. COTA, and VIR, Yas Marina, or Kylami, or some city tracks. Older GT games had some city tracks. I miss those.
@Xtremegamingg27 Both games have their share of a few fantasy tracks. And GT7 is still filled with a lot of cars. There's just several "Vision" concept style cars. It's something Gran Turismo has done all the time. It's something that separates them from other games.

Why the fuck did they make the wheels silver on the nsx-r, and the ek9. They are supposed to be white. Then they also got the recarros wrong on the ek9 there is no black on the seat irl.
I told someone this exact same thing who is usually on here hating. He goes by Nihilityjoey. Made a video to compare the GT7 EK9 vs FM, so I tell him some of the inaccuracies FM has because I know these cars like the back of my hand, the black on the seats being one of the issues, and he just talks back saying I have issues and whatnot. Lol. In his video, he even puts in the description that he can't get the same EK9 as FM since GT7 has the facelift (99-00) version and I very nicely let him know the 97 EK9 was currently in the used dealer, and he responds back with something like "wtf does that have to do with anything" or something along those lines. I swear, they get angry when you tell them something is off in FM because you have real world experiences with said cars. They'll cuss at you and keep talking bad about you. Lol
They have silver wheels. And where's the black on the seats? Not just that, but notice how the Forza indicators are AMBER in shots? Especially out in the light, at 0.33 and not red like GT???
@nihilityjoey I even mentioned it to you in your video you made of the EK9. I told you that the seats were wrong. The entire seat should be red. In your video, as you can easily see, the part your back is on is black, as well as the butt part. Therefor, it's wrong in FM. I told you this and you still were in denial about it. As far as the Championship White NSX-R, it should come with the white wheels. The Grand Prix White and all the other colors have the silver wheels. GT7 did it right. Choosing Championship White came with the white wheels while the other colors got silver.
I should also add, the 05 NSX-R should have an all black steering wheel. It's a silver color in FM. And the shift knob should be a ball shape. It's a cone/ball shape in FM...if I'm to nitpick perfection here. And for some reason, they felt the need to always have the clutser lit up as if you have your headlights turned on in FM. To see the gauges during daylight easier??? Maybe. But that's not how it should be.they turn on when the headlights turn on. Even if you give it the half turn for the parking lights, but those are off as well in FM. So they just went with having lit up gauges for the sake of just being able to see I guess
Nihilijoey, the ek9 never came with silver wheels irl. They were white. We got a gunmetal option starting in 98 with the integra type r, but thats it. Also the recarros in an ek9 civic irl are ALL red. The part your back rest on is black in forza. Either they could make it red cause of laziness, or they couldn't cuz they are ignorant. Either one. You Either trust forza over us, or your making shit up. Things can be inaccurate in a game it happens all the time.

@cenktheangel Except this isn't scapes. Both games look better in the showroom. And that's what is mostly showed here for both games. But even during gameplay, car models still look much better than FM.
@cenktheangel I play both games almost daily. I would know. Both games look better in the show room. That's what he's doing in the video. Showcasing them at their best. In-game, GT7 CARS are better modeled. They're also more accurate to the real life cars. GT7 also adds extra little details that the real life cars have, which FM doesn't add. Weather stripping around the front of the hood on some cars, to be one of the little details. Mid engine cars look like ass in FM through the rear window. And I'm not just saying it due to this video, but if you look at all the mid engine cars, like Ferarri, you'll see how plastic and polygonal it looks. In GT7, it looks like the real thing pretty much, even during gameplay. Another fact, ai cars on the track in FM are significantly using less polygons than your car. In GT7, they look pretty identical to your car. Cars have chromed out plastic mufflers in FM. It looks tacky. FM does NOT capture metal right. That's a huge fact. It always looks like straight plastic, and in most cases, any silver metal is full chromed out plastic. GT7 can get it right though. Most cars look like ass in the cockpit in FM. Full of smooth plastic and any silver buttons or badging anywhere is just BLING BLING chrome. It's ugly. Cars that have screens are washed out gray. They can't get a pitch black glossy screen for some reason. GT7 does though. The asphalt in GT7 is a higher detail or more texture than FM. In FM, most asphalt look smudged. In GT7, Daytona for example, yellow lines, and even the tar that's used to fill in cracks, are 3 dimensional. FM just paints a flat line over the asphalt. Then there's the checkered finish line. In GT7, it's actually 3D separate black and white tiles with the signatures on them. In FM, it's just a flat painted black and white squares. The grass is thicker in GT7. It also moves according to each car passing by. Grass is hardly thick in FM. Some tracks, VIR especially, look extremely flat. It's like Sonic The Hedgehog styled grass. FM just adds a bunch of BS around tracks like trees that don't exist there in real life. They hide a bunch of background scenery you'd actually see. Fm also adds a bunch of light poles or flood lights that don't exist on tracks, making night racing less immersed. Then there's all the Forza Horizon style flags everywhere like you're in a damn carnival or something. GT7 tracks won't have as much going on, because they catch a more authentic look.
I want to see another 2018 Type R comparison, but with the mistakes pointed out in FM. You can look at my community posts for examples of all the things wrong with the car in FM. Lol. Like a bunch of cars in FM, it is just off. And I love these games, but they just fucked up on it. This NSX wasn't that bad, but a few examples that are wrong or look off in FM, is that the steering wheel should be all black. There shouldn't be silver. The center console that slopes down from the dash to the shifter is out of proportion in FM. For some reason it slants down more horizontally when it should be a little more vertical. The bottom tray cover should be more rectangular, but for some reason it looks more squarish. The carbon kevlar cover looks barely noticeable as carbon kevlar in FM. When choosing Championship White, it should come with white wheels. The other colors, even grand Prix White will have the silver wheels. Only thing I like on this NSX is when choosing Championship White, is how the paint looks. It's supposed to be a creamy white. It looks like they added a lot of pearl to it though. To my knowledge, Championship doesn't have pearl in it. It's just a creamy white. Some reason, Championship white on the 2018 Type R, the only white it came in, looks like....normal white. The Championship White the EK9 has in FM is creamy white though. Looks a bit closer to how CW (NH-0) looks. FM is not consistent at all
One thing I'm not afraid to admit, is even with allllll the knowledge I have for cars, especially Hondas, a lot of it comes from U.S. versions and even JDM versions. Some of the eastern countries, there are things that are different. So if there is another white I'm unaware of, then I'd like to know. If there is a pearl white version of the NSX R, I'm unaware. I know Championship White and Grand Prix White. The 2 whites the dealership also gives the option of choosing in GT7.
@nihilityjoey You can be a big fan of the series and still notice flaws in a new game that was thrown around before launch with such hype that it doesn't live up to. You sound like those whiney agenda pushing weirdos who let facts hurt their feelings. FM has a lot of flaws in it. Car details and sounds not living up to how it lead me to believe my favorite racing franchise was going to be. The content is short as fuck. Gives you an hour of content a week to play unless you enjoy free play or online to keep you going. I'm not going to sit in denial and try to one-up a game, being some blind follower. I'm not biased, and will say how each is. There's things in GT that can be done better, but the game already has a lot of good done to it. Especially car models. But when it comes between the new FM and GT7, GT7 is the winner to me. Just has much more to do. Liking or being a bigger fan of one series (FM) doesn't mean you have to be biased and say everything in favor of your favorite.
I want to know why in your video, you're saying someone is complaining about too much spray??? I know you make videos off of AutomotiveVP's as a response, and sometimes me, because you think you can prove me wrong about my own cars mistakes in FM. So what AutomotiveVP said in this video is that at the release of GT7, there was more spray behind cars in the rain. Which I actually liked and always wondered why there seems to be less for a while now. Nothing to do with the release of iracing. I know I've mentioned it multiple times on his older videos that FM has almost no spray and GT does a better job in that department as well. FM mostly has water splashing behind the tires and very, very minimal spray and definitely doesn't have any effect on the windshield as I'm driving behind other cars. I'm doing this right now as I paused it because I'm using "rainstorm" as the weather setting. Your descriptions in your videos are super biased and not 100% correct. Sounds a lot like Digital Foundries video, while saying a slightly nice thing about GT7, or ACC, but Forza easily takes the win for you all the time. Lol. 🤦♂️ No one even said rain doesn't have reflections. But it also doesn't make the entire asphalt look like a glass mirror. FM7's rain on the asphalt looked better. Even had puddles which if you hit, you would hydroplane and lose control a bit. Rain is also so warm looking in FM. Why don't they add a darker filter? It's like a sepia filter at all times during the day in the rain. Yeah, why not mention it on your video instead of AutomotiveVP's? Just to call you out here. That's why. Juat curious why you think people are complaining about "too much spray." It was the beginning of GT7 when we had more spray. I doubt we going to see mods on gt7 even if its gets released on pc, but it still remains unclear if we ever get gt7 on pc, but hopefully gt8 would be day one on pc as well as ps5, Fm looks very bad campared to gt7 specially when you consider the quality of the car models witch is very low on fm, even the mobile game csr racing 2 has better car models than forza, yes you heard it right a mobile game.

@@charlienash1050This update was a good direction to fix, but I hope they continue like this, even Forza did the following thing, which is first recycled tracks and then even new tracks instead of they build these recycled tracks from scratch, they are going to remodel the tracks, that is, improve the recycled tracks with good textures and I think that this idea that Forza had is better than build the tracks from scratch but I hope that the next update will be the sound because the car sounds are terrible, including correcting the graphics.
Gt7 is bound to be on pc.. all ps games are coming to pc a couple years after launch (slowly even at launch with helldivers) and only makes sense to port gt
Helldivers 2 was always set to be PC/PS5 because that is what a then (and so far as I'm aware still) 2nd party developer wanted for it. GT, any game in the franchise probably shouldn't come to PC officially for the same reasons this guy listed. Modding the game itself isn't what GT is about it's meant to be a sim, and if gamers can just change parameters willy nilly (which is what modding is essentially), it's not a sim anymore. Also, GT is a console seller; it's no joke, PS' biggest IP, and best-selling IP. Putting GT on PC could potentially hurt interest in PS consoles themselves. This can really mess with PS' existing market. If all the big hitters come to PC, why buy the console? Games sold via Steam make a nice cut for Valve, which PS will not want to let go of. If PS pulls games from Steam, PC gamers will be upset at PS (or Sony as they say) yet again. Most PC gamers clearly pirate games anyway. Most of these new PS games only sold a few million units at most on PC since PS games started becoming available on the platform in an official capacity for the since PS last stopped releasing 1st party games for PC back in 2001 (yeah, this isn't even a novel concept). Most re-releases only made a small profit underperforming. PC has the biggest potential audience but makes the least money for everyone because the value for incredible software amongst PC gamers is basically a flat $0. GT7 has the best graphics of any racing sim on PC or consoles, but the physics are nowhere near ACC, iRacing, rFactor2 or Automobilista. If they develop realistic physics for GT8, then that would become the ultimate sim.
Physic in gran turismo 7 is actually not bad given that there are difrent car type to cater in gran turismo 7 meanwhile acc mostly has gt3 and gt4 racing machine but all in all they are both good
the newest forza is an embarrassment and a stain on the franchise, and that's coming from someone who hasn't played a gran turismo since GT4

I’d be shocked if GT7 goes to PC and here’s why.
1. Sony have stated it’s up to there studios to decide if they want to port games to PC.
2. Kaz has stated many times that he’s not a fan of the PC market because it’s oversaturated with racing games.
3.cheating would be a major issue and knowing PD cross play would be non negotiable and there would be no way to turn it off.
4. Having to support another platform like PC when they struggle to support PS4/PS5 would be a nightmare.

The thing is each cars in gt7 are nextgen proof who are ahead and usable for at least 10 years or even more longer and still looks fantastic because of how much precise the details are and i can see them using those models for gt8 and 9 that's the goal now
If you don't know polyphony digital have ways to call their cars models the standard cars are from gt1,2,3 and 4 and still used in 5 and 6 you have premium cars who are from gt5 and 6 and now the super premium cars who are from gt sport and gt7 even tho at least 10 standard cars have been up to super premium cars in gt6 during is lifetime
They want to use the super premium cars as something who don't get old after a long time like you can see in forza or the crew how much cars can looks bad with old models

If you look gt7 the cars are just perfect and you can feel that the environment of the game is not looking as good it can be better but if you use those perfect cars in a more details tracks with better light renders and réflection you don't even need to go further for the cars details and that's what polyphony will do for the next gran turismo
I think we can say when it comes to cars its the most detailed of any game out there currently and it raises the benchmark for other games

As a PC and Xbox guy I cannot wait for GT7 to hit PC. I've been a diehard Forza fan and I was so disappointed by FM24. I can't even play the game for more than 45 mins at a time.

Bro, it was absolutely disgusting what the community did at the start of this game. It was all coming from console wars too. Every car game out there has locked cars behind paywalls, yet people screamed and ranted at GT7 for no reason. When the game came out, it was beautiful, man. It really pissed me off because I saw the effort and work that had gone into this game. It's the only track game out there with this amount of love and attention, and for it to get review bombed was a disgrace. It affected their sales a lot. Some people didn't even buy it because of the reviews. I have a video coming soon about this. Sadly I only started youtube 4/5 months ago!
Releasing on PC won't change the media and "sim purists" minds one iota. They will continue to bang their drums for whatever game they played originally and while some might buy GT on PC the majority will pirate as they're doing already with the new PS games that were already cracked or illegally copied for sale or for free redistribution from a single GOG purchase. The problems with PC gaming are many. If PS puts its single biggest IP on PC, it might actually hurt PS... as a brand. That would be really bad for GT fans in the long run because if PS is hurting, GT as a franchise goes bye-bye.

Great comparison as always but I gotta disagree with you on something. The reason people were complaining about the microtransactions at launch in gt7 was because polyphony was intentionally nerfing race payouts significantly within the first 3 months of the game, making earning money WAY harder than it should be. I remember watching a video where a guy claimed he grinded 1 hour of racing for only 300k. Even now, I still believe race payouts are still too low but they aren't as bad as they were at launch. Not trying to come off as a hater, just wanted to put my 2 cents in🙏
Hey, this channel is built for debates and opinions. The new Forza is receiving a lot of hate because of how they marketed the game, so it's just for a laugh. But I'm open to other people's opinions. First of all, thanks for the comment. But GT has always been a grind. I played day one on GT7 and made over 3 million in one day, which allowed me to buy a lot of cars. Back in the day, you would be stuck with a 10k car for a few days, haha, so to me, it was fine. If you get what I mean, the grind is needed in games, if you ask me. I love working for my cars, and when it comes to spending money, I have to think about what car I want next, and to me, that's the enjoyment. I guess it's just personal preference though. But in the original GT games, you were stuck in a poor car for ages, working your way up. It would take ages to get a special car around 500k, haha, so I love the grind.

I loved earning money in gt3 cause every vehicle had a purpose for an event, not making events boring or uninteresting. It probably won't come to PC because of cheaters and modders. PS would also be out of their minds to release it on PC as it's been a consistent hardware pusher. Since the first one was released, players would buy a PS console just to wait for GT, and that first became evident in the PS3 era, but that opinion held true for PS4 and PS5. If PS releases GT for PC, it could significantly reduce interest in PS consoles, which could translate into lower unit sales. This generation, we have very few true PS exclusives. If all PS games go to PC, there's no reason to buy a PS, and PS knows that. They could be considering releasing GT7 or the next GT game for PC, but I do think that would be a monumental mistake for PS.
They could make the game somehow unmoddable just like DR2.0 was, only extremely basic mods are available for it to this day and livery skinning is kind of a PITA

this could be a hint that Sony/Playstation could have a prototype console with NVidia graphics. Leaping to the conclusion a hidden driver equals port is a bit too big for me.
The prototype console could be a portable device; then NVidia makes perfect sense since they have been involved with several handheld gaming devices and it would seem natural that some new generation of PSP would have a version of GT7.
My pc is decent, I'd like to see how it would look/perform. Mostly curious about night lighting and how much it might improve (more headlights, less popping, longer distance, etc). I have a 14700k & 4070; mate has a 7800X3D & 7900XTX; either it would look great and would want to do comparisons on how AMD vs NVidia handle the ray-tracing (brute-force vs native iirc?); how good can you set the graphics for different framerate goals (60, 75, 120, 144). Then you get into PSVR2; instead of it rendering quality with eye-tracking and the rest being not-so-nice if you watched recordings ... a wider section of the user's field of view or possible the entire render of both screens could be full resolution with a powerful enough pc. The ability to track more information and have it displayed.
Tons of advantages could be had; but the disadvantages nightfox stated are real. Cross-play has its issues and so does segregated playerbases. PC would have to retain popularity on its own to fill lobbies and tournaments ... or there might have to be some anti-cheat layer if cross-platform that may affect the ability for a sub-section of players to engage for various reasons. Focus and labor efforts being split to take care of bugs on a platform that is not 'controlled'. It would be easier for GT7 to come to Apple's current OS because the amount of hardware is limited vs the random crap random people own across the world and bug reports unrelated to the game; just 15 year old glitchy hardware on hard drives with viruses, haven't been defragged since those fancy big 1 TB drives dropped to $125 at Walmart in the 90s.
I'd much rather them continue to focus on PS5/PS5 Pro. I'd rather those efforts go to bringing back more classic cars (80s/90s JDMs like AW11 MR2s or the last Pontiac Trans Am, etc we've had in past GTs) and tracks we don't have that would be great fun and nostalgia. More tracks, more cars, while also continuing to do things like the last BoP change to do their best to keep things balanced and fun. Longer races seem to be returning as well as tuning races. I think they need maybe one or two more weekly races; as it feels like it would allow them the first one's one-make no DR 'fun' race; a gr4, gr3, an endurance race 40-60m, and a wild card say gr1/Formula 20-40m race or a longer GrB race.

They could set up PS5 OS as a dual-boot option on a fully AMD based system and have it running (Sony/Poly collab ofc) pretty easily. But then you have Intel and Nvidia GPUs, APUs, integrated graphics, Intel CPUs, varioius RAM manufacturers at different timings, speeds, DDR3/4/5, widely different amounts of VRAM and speeds, etc etc etc.
Not worth it when you have your controlled platform OS cleanliness, minimal hardware variability, etc.
It is not coming, but a interesting ponder. Again, I think the driver hints at a portable device; maybe a PSP2, the 'Portal' thing is a stepping stone maybe.

I think you’re blaming the wrong games for the current state of the industry. Yes, they definitely contribute, but EA is the one that started it with the very first FIFA game to have card packs.
Also, Fortnite has a pretty damn good battle pass. I have not been upset with the passes they have. Plus, the content is just damn good. If anything, companies need to look at them for inspiration. They also need to look at Hell Divers 2 for inspiration where the entire pass is free.

My favourite car, shame Turn 10 and Playground Games did such a crap job with it. It looks pretty decent while in the garage, then in game everything gets downgraded for no reason. Vents are blacked out, engine is a pixelated block, interior colours are wrong and they use the same dashboard for the 92, 05 and 05 GT models even though the 92 NSX-R is supposed to have a completely different dashboard. They just copy+paste across all three models, same brake disc models, same dashboard, same seats, same interior trim.....it's absurd.

You know, i thought at the beginning, GT7 had more water spray behind cars during the rain at launch. Kind of dumb they slightly made it less. Hope they bring it back.
I personally dont care for the VGT cars. I don't hate them either though. But I want more real world cars. A lot of older normal road cars and stuff like that. No more vans or ambulances. I so want more race cara too though. One thing i really like in FM is the Type R TCR car. It's my favorite car to drive. I miss the Honda Spoon Sports cars in the older GT games as well.
I don't mind the fake tracks either. Definitely love Trial Mountain. Thats a nice one to have back, but i really want more real life tracks. COTA, and VIR, Yas Marina, or Kylami, or some city tracks. Older GT games had some city tracks. I miss those.

Why the fuck did they make the wheels silver on the nsx-r, and the ek9. They are supposed to be white. Then they also got the recarros wrong on the ek9 there is no black on the seat irl.
I told someone this exact same thing who is usually on here hating. He goes by Nihilityjoey. Made a video to compare the GT7 EK9 vs FM, so I tell him some of the inaccuracies FM has because I know these cars like the back of my hand, the black on the seats being one of the issues, and he just talks back saying I have issues and whatnot. Lol.
In his video, he even puts in the description that he can't get the same EK9 as FM since GT7 has the facelift (99-00) version and I very nicely let him know the 97 EK9 was currently in the used dealer, and he responds back with something like "wtf does that have to do with anything" or something along those lines.
I swear, they get angry when you tell them something is off in FM because you have real world experiences with said cars. They'll cuss at you and keep talking bad about you. Lol
They have silver wheels. And where's the black on the seats? Not just that, but notice how the Forza indicators are AMBER in shots? Especially out in the light, at 0.33 and not red like GT???

In your video, as you can easily see, the part your back is on is black, as well as the butt part. Therefor, it's wrong in FM. I told you this and you still were in denial about it.
As far as the Championship White NSX-R, it should come with the white wheels. The Grand Prix White and all the other colors have the silver wheels. GT7 did it right. Choosing Championship White came with the white wheels while the other colors got silver.
I should also add, the 05 NSX-R should have an all black steering wheel. It's a silver color in FM. And the shift knob should be a ball shape. It's a cone/ball shape in FM...if I'm to nitpick perfection here. And for some reason, they felt the need to always have the clutser lit up as if you have your headlights turned on in FM. To see the gauges during daylight easier??? Maybe. But that's not how it should be.they turn on when the headlights turn on. Even if you give it the half turn for the parking lights, but those are off as well in FM. So they just went with having lit up gauges for the sake of just being able to see I guess
Nihilijoey, the ek9 never came with silver wheels irl. They were white. We got a gunmetal option starting in 98 with the integra type r, but thats it. Also the recarros in an ek9 civic irl are ALL red. The part your back rest on is black in forza. Either they could make it red cause of laziness, or they couldn't cuz they are ignorant. Either one. You Either trust forza over us, or your making shit up. Things can be inaccurate in a game it happens all the time.

In-game, GT7 CARS are better modeled. They're also more accurate to the real life cars. GT7 also adds extra little details that the real life cars have, which FM doesn't add. Weather stripping around the front of the hood on some cars, to be one of the little details.
Mid engine cars look like ass in FM through the rear window. And I'm not just saying it due to this video, but if you look at all the mid engine cars, like Ferarri, you'll see how plastic and polygonal it looks. In GT7, it looks like the real thing pretty much, even during gameplay.
Another fact, ai cars on the track in FM are significantly using less polygons than your car. In GT7, they look pretty identical to your car.
Cars have chromed out plastic mufflers in FM. It looks tacky. FM does NOT capture metal right. That's a huge fact. It always looks like straight plastic, and in most cases, any silver metal is full chromed out plastic. GT7 can get it right though.
Most cars look like ass in the cockpit in FM. Full of smooth plastic and any silver buttons or badging anywhere is just BLING BLING chrome. It's ugly. Cars that have screens are washed out gray. They can't get a pitch black glossy screen for some reason. GT7 does though.
The asphalt in GT7 is a higher detail or more texture than FM. In FM, most asphalt look smudged. In GT7, Daytona for example, yellow lines, and even the tar that's used to fill in cracks, are 3 dimensional. FM just paints a flat line over the asphalt. Then there's the checkered finish line. In GT7, it's actually 3D separate black and white tiles with the signatures on them. In FM, it's just a flat painted black and white squares.
The grass is thicker in GT7. It also moves according to each car passing by. Grass is hardly thick in FM. Some tracks, VIR especially, look extremely flat. It's like Sonic The Hedgehog styled grass.
FM just adds a bunch of BS around tracks like trees that don't exist there in real life. They hide a bunch of background scenery you'd actually see. Fm also adds a bunch of light poles or flood lights that don't exist on tracks, making night racing less immersed. Then there's all the Forza Horizon style flags everywhere like you're in a damn carnival or something. GT7 tracks won't have as much going on, because they catch a more authentic look.
Gt7 has way more detail going into the cars its just a matter of fact, forza is even recycling old outdated car models thats not even accurate,

I want to see another 2018 Type R comparison, but with the mistakes pointed out in FM. You can look at my community posts for examples of all the things wrong with the car in FM. Lol. Like a bunch of cars in FM, it is just off. And I love these games, but they just fucked up on it.
This NSX wasn't that bad, but a few examples that are wrong or look off in FM, is that the steering wheel should be all black. There shouldn't be silver. The center console that slopes down from the dash to the shifter is out of proportion in FM. For some reason it slants down more horizontally when it should be a little more vertical. The bottom tray cover should be more rectangular, but for some reason it looks more squarish. The carbon kevlar cover looks barely noticeable as carbon kevlar in FM. When choosing Championship White, it should come with white wheels. The other colors, even grand Prix White will have the silver wheels.
Only thing I like on this NSX is when choosing Championship White, is how the paint looks. It's supposed to be a creamy white. It looks like they added a lot of pearl to it though. To my knowledge, Championship doesn't have pearl in it. It's just a creamy white. Some reason, Championship white on the 2018 Type R, the only white it came in, looks like....normal white. The Championship White the EK9 has in FM is creamy white though. Looks a bit closer to how CW (NH-0) looks. FM is not consistent at all
One thing I'm not afraid to admit, is even with allllll the knowledge I have for cars, especially Hondas, a lot of it comes from U.S. versions and even JDM versions. Some of the eastern countries, there are things that are different. So if there is another white I'm unaware of, then I'd like to know. If there is a pearl white version of the NSX R, I'm unaware. I know Championship White and Grand Prix White. The 2 whites the dealership also gives the option of choosing in GT7.

FM has a lot of flaws in it. Car details and sounds not living up to how it lead me to believe my favorite racing franchise was going to be. The content is short as fuck. Gives you an hour of content a week to play unless you enjoy free play or online to keep you going.
I'm not going to sit in denial and try to one-up a game, being some blind follower. I'm not biased, and will say how each is. There's things in GT that can be done better, but the game already has a lot of good done to it. Especially car models. But when it comes between the new FM and GT7, GT7 is the winner to me. Just has much more to do. Liking or being a bigger fan of one series (FM) doesn't mean you have to be biased and say everything in favor of your favorite.
I want to know why in your video, you're saying someone is complaining about too much spray??? I know you make videos off of AutomotiveVP's as a response, and sometimes me, because you think you can prove me wrong about my own cars mistakes in FM.
So what AutomotiveVP said in this video is that at the release of GT7, there was more spray behind cars in the rain. Which I actually liked and always wondered why there seems to be less for a while now. Nothing to do with the release of iracing. I know I've mentioned it multiple times on his older videos that FM has almost no spray and GT does a better job in that department as well. FM mostly has water splashing behind the tires and very, very minimal spray and definitely doesn't have any effect on the windshield as I'm driving behind other cars. I'm doing this right now as I paused it because I'm using "rainstorm" as the weather setting. Your descriptions in your videos are super biased and not 100% correct. Sounds a lot like Digital Foundries video, while saying a slightly nice thing about GT7, or ACC, but Forza easily takes the win for you all the time. Lol. 🤦♂️
No one even said rain doesn't have reflections. But it also doesn't make the entire asphalt look like a glass mirror. FM7's rain on the asphalt looked better. Even had puddles which if you hit, you would hydroplane and lose control a bit.
Rain is also so warm looking in FM. Why don't they add a darker filter? It's like a sepia filter at all times during the day in the rain.
Yeah, why not mention it on your video instead of AutomotiveVP's? Just to call you out here. That's why. Juat curious why you think people are complaining about "too much spray." It was the beginning of GT7 when we had more spray. I didn't complain, and neither did AutomotiveVP, who you normally hate on and make video responses of. Lol. Certainly, Forza Motorsport 23 NEVER had much spray and it never changed since launch. So it can't be about FM having too much spray.
I doubt we going to see mods on gt7 even if its gets released on pc, but it still remains unclear if we ever get gt7 on pc, but hopefully gt8 would be day one on pc as well as ps5,
Fm looks very bad campared to gt7 specially when you consider the quality of the car models witch is very low on fm, even the mobile game csr racing 2 has better car models than forza, yes you heard it right a mobile game.

@@charlienash1050This update was a good direction to fix, but I hope they continue like this, even Forza did the following thing, which is first recycled tracks and then even new tracks instead of they build these recycled tracks from scratch, they are going to remodel the tracks, that is, improve the recycled tracks with good textures and I think that this idea that Forza had is better than build the tracks from scratch but I hope that the next update will be the sound because the car sounds are terrible, including correcting the graphics.

Gt7 is bound to be on pc.. all ps games are coming to pc a couple years after launch (slowly even at launch with helldivers) and only makes sense to port gt
Helldivers 2 was always set to be PC/PS5 because that is what a then (and so far as I'm aware still) 2nd party developer wanted for it.
GT, any game in the franchise probably shouldn't come to PC officially for the same reasons this guy listed. Modding the game itself isn't what GT is about it's meant to be a sim, and if gamers can just change parameters willy nilly (which is what modding is essentially), it's not a sim anymore.
Also, GT is a console seller; it's no joke, PS' biggest IP, and best-selling IP. Putting GT on PC could potentially hurt interest in PS consoles themselves. This can really mess with PS' existing market. If all the big hitters come to PC, why buy the console? Games sold via Steam make a nice cut for Valve, which PS will not want to let go of. If PS pulls games from Steam, PC gamers will be upset at PS (or Sony as they say) yet again.
Most PC gamers clearly pirate games anyway. Most of these new PS games only sold a few million units at most on PC since PS games started becoming available on the platform in an official capacity for the since PS last stopped releasing 1st party games for PC back in 2001 (yeah, this isn't even a novel concept). Most re-releases only made a small profit underperforming. PC has the biggest potential audience but makes the least money for everyone because the value for incredible software amongst PC gamers is basically a flat $0. It's why so many once PC exclusives are now on consoles to begin with. PC has a tiny paying market.

GT7 has the best graphics of any racing sim on PC or consoles, but the physics are nowhere near ACC, iRacing, rFactor2 or Automobilista. If they develop realistic physics for GT8, then that would become the ultimate sim.

Physic in gran turismo 7 is actually not bad given that there are difrent car type to cater in gran turismo 7 meanwhile acc mostly has gt3 and gt4 racing machine but all in all they are both good
