Its cozy crew spaces and lack of weaponry implies that the ship is likely able to be sold to civilians for non-combat uses such as mining missions and construction crews, the exterior landing pads allowing mining / construction ships to quickly refuel, offload mined ores, and reload on components before headed back to work.
Luca this is a fun idea of a ship where you jump in, drop off fighter ships to chew on an Atlas, and jump out in time to get an orange smoothie. I will sub and use this, thanks for sharing!
I have a few ships on the workshop. I make them basically as base as I can and leave it up to the person who downloads them to modify them to their liking. I just get them to where they work and have a few things. Its up to you to make them better
I see c= yeah that's how it should be ideally x3 most of my bigger ships are basically mobile bases too xD and I see c= that's cool, would be interesting to see more ships on the Workshop that are meant to be filled by the players who download them (beyond just them being empty hulls) x3
Having a hangar would certainly be nice for a dedicated carrier c= and yeah it's a rather uniquely designed carrier x3 does wish it has more stuff though u wu
Luca lol I've been laughing at the music for these battle tests and hill roll tests for a while (the mystery!), but can you try some more punchy music? All good either way, just a suggestion :)
An enclosed hangar is always nice for a dedicated carrier c= I do think carriers that only use flight deck or landing pads is advantageous if it's purely meant to carry combat vehicles though x3
@@LucaTheGuide fighters need to be repaired and replaced, an open flight deck is fine for the active fighters, preferable in a lot of ways (though you may want allowances for welders to replace any ai missiles they carry) but that's not all a carrier should be able to do. a carrier has to support it's complement not just by bringing it from point a to point b and providing fuel and ammo, but being a place for repairs as well, otherwise your basically just tied to your network of bases that can do that. if there's one combat vessel that actually should have a FULL refinery and assembler set up, as more than just functional alternative to conveyors its the carrier, you want at least a tug, a miner and a welder/grinder ship in the enclosed hangar, having various mag plates for damaged grids also helps but those can be external. edit to me that is what differentiates a carrier from a "jump ship" more than anything, a jump ship just brings the small grids to a fight, a carrier is a mobile base
I think for this ship specifically, it's more of a civilian / industrial carrier designed to carry mining and construction ships. The exterior landing pads make it apparent the ship isn't designed for combat, but rather quick refueling, loading, and unloading of said ships.
the general outer design is nice but the lack of at least pdcs is very bad and for once I would agree that the external connectors are too much recessed. The internal design is nice but their is a bad placement of blocks, the cockpit by example, having it in the back would make more sense

ahh another luca hill moment
u wu there was a slight technical issue with the drop ♥
@@LucaTheGuide eh but its a luca moment so its otay XD
Interesting ship design. Mmmmmmhmm~
Ye x3 ♥
Cool ship. 👍🏾
Yeah the overall design, concept and shaping of the carrier is rather unique c=
I'm wondering how they got the angled nacelles.
I'm thinking subgrid or supergridding x3 most likely subgrid though because it was kinda clanging

Yeah this ship doesn't seem like it's meant for direct confrontation in combat x3 and orange smoothie u wu ♥ and yey x3 np cleren c=

Interesting they didnt include like a hangar bay for ships pretty cool design though

Not all carriers need hangars.
@@PraetorPaktu I don't disagree landing pads have a nice asthetic but I feel hangars are more convenient and secure
@@LucaTheGuide yeah I like the landing pad look it's not bad but probably not so practical
@@cbass7283 yea, I am on team hangars, but you gotta admit they are big, and sometimes don't fit the scale.
Looks like a support craft rather then a combat, dock refuel, rearm, drop off supplies.
Yeah u wu but even a support craft should at least have interior turrets I think to fight against jetpackers and smaller vehiclers
Uh Luka the minute that ship went Hostile it would jump out.
Yeah that would be the most sensible tactic when flying this ship x3 I just wanted to see how well it can take damage in case it did get shot xD
Luca lol I've been laughing at the music for these battle tests and hill roll tests for a while (the mystery!), but can you try some more punchy music? All good either way, just a suggestion :)
xD I'll see if I can make the music more varied, been kinda planning to for some of the things but haven't gotten into it c= x3 ♥
i would at least have a hangar for support vessels and a ship printer, or at least the base of a small grid printer.
