Luke Skywalker and Ashoka Tano(two beloved characters from different eras and heroes of 2 generations of fans) sharing the screen is surreal and it speaks volumes to how much people love Star Wars and why Kennedy will never understand that.
That moment when Luke turns to Ahsoka after she says "so much like your father" gives me chills every time. I know it's Mark Hamill's face cgi'd/deepfaked on there, but something about that looks reminds me of similar expressions Hayden Christensen made as Anakin, and it's the first time I've gone "Ah, there's the family resemblance." MY HEART.
I think ever since Aksoka was introduced, the whole community was anticipating two things from her. Her meeting Vader, after all the years of her and Ani And her meeting Luke Skywalker for the first time, meeting her teacher's son
Don't forget she was very good and trusted friends with Padme as well. She was close to both of them. I guess she was part of the right family group thing. Anakin def loved her like his little sis who he will do anything to protect and Padme also loved and respected Ahsoka like a little sis as well. So in a way aside from Obi Wan Ahsoka is the closest thing to family Luke and Leia have that have direct deep family bond connection with both of their parents and even adopted parents at least for Leia. I wonder if she met Ahsoka long before Luke met Ahsoka. Since Ahsoka and Rebels worked directly with Senator Bali and I think Ahsoka been working with him since order 66 and even went to Padme funeral knowing clones are hunting Jedi and she was their number one target if they knew she was alive at the time after Anakin found her saber . So she def knew about Luke and Leia birth from organa and prb kept her distance because her presence around them is dangerous to them. Again she was the most wanted like number one in both Vader and Palpatine list once they found out she was alive . They wanted to convert her . I am sure Anakin knew she didn't die just vanished into the portal when Ezra pulled her into it before Anakin struck her down and Palpatine saw her inside the in-between world portal bridge thing. So it makes sense why she stayed away from Luke and Leia when they were growing up.

Because they listened to the fans too much instead of sticking to their idea. It is necessary to listen to criticism, but never let the fandom decide how the films will be, mainly because fans will always complain about something. The second film had a new director and script change because of the criticism of the first film, then the 3 passed through the same problem because of the criticism to the second. In the series, they're just following through with their ideia. If the trioligy had the same director from the 1st to the 3rd, it would have been better, or if the 3rd movie had the same director as the 2nd, it would have been better too. But the act of changing directors with different ideas for the script, screwed up the film's trilogy.
Incorrect. The problem was that virtually no fans worked on the movies. Also, the problem was that they tossed out thousands of pages of great star wars stories when they decanonized the expanded universe. I will never forgive Disney for that.

On an unrelated note hope because of a feature of a BD droid in the previous episode we get Cal Kestis, Ahsoka & Luke in the same place that would absolutely blow my mind.
CGI face is always hard to do even when defacing but this is well done and masterfully implemented in the episode as it feels and looks really seamless!
This episode was a fan love letter to Star Wars fans! I LOVED the part where Luke was running with Baby Yoda on his back, THAT was nostalgia done RIGHT! Then seeing Luke and Ahsoka talking to each other, I was like, “YES! OH MY GOSH, they’re talking to each other, THEY’RE talking to EACH OTHER!” When Ahsoka said to Luke, “So much like your Father.” I JUST had a HUGE smile on my face, and went, “YEP, Anakin!”

In the Ahsoka series they'll probably go more in-depth on how Luke & Ahsoka met he probably shares with her his father's redemption saving him from the emperor & she'll probably share info not only of Anakins struggles during the clone wars but of her quest to finally find and beat Thrawn & find Ezra.
On an unrelated note hope because of a feature of a BD droid in the previous episode we get Cal Kestis, Ahsoka & Luke in the same place that would absolutely blow my mind.
These guys are trying to make a guy like me in his 30's cry after they hear Ahsoka say, "So much like your father."
Dave Filoni is underrated
He is our only true God.
CGI face is always hard to do even when defacing but this is well done and masterfully implemented in the episode as it feels and looks really seamless!
Thank you Filoni & Favreau, this is what we've been wanting.
i actually teared up hearing ahsoka say "your so much like your father"
This episode was a fan love letter to Star Wars fans! I LOVED the part where Luke was running with Baby Yoda on his back, THAT was nostalgia done RIGHT! Then seeing Luke and Ahsoka talking to each other, I was like, “YES! OH MY GOSH, they’re talking to each other, THEY’RE talking to EACH OTHER!” When Ahsoka said to Luke, “So much like your Father.” I JUST had a HUGE smile on my face, and went, “YEP, Anakin!”
I hoped they also talked about Obi-Wan. She would want to know he survived Order 66.
The Ashoka series will definitely reunite these two. Can't wait. I really hope we get some bad ass Jedi scenes from Luke like we did in the finale of S2 of the Mandalorian.
DAVE YOU ABSOLUTE MADLAD
god bless dave filoni for giving us this great star wars content.
I cried like a baby this whole episode
This is everything I ever wanted. I can almost forget about the abomination that is the sequels, thanks to this masterful scene
@@ro4eva probably try and do more projects in an attempt to justify the sequels' existence rather than remove them
@@GEMerc-su4cc I like the prequels, but the clone wars series seriously helped the prequels a ton. I think the clone wars series helped people ease into liking the prequels a lot more.
I think if the word “ snips” came into play these reactors would still be freaking out!!! Great stuff
Man, you know their first conversation was Luke letting Ahsoka know Anakin returned at the end and Ahsoka's response was tears.
Ahsoka: So much like your father.
Me: Call him Skyguy once. Just once. For me. 😂
Asoka Tano Season1 Episode1: Luke and Asoka meet for the first time, Luke tells her Anakin did right in the end and saved his life from the emperor. (I'm calling it, that would be epic and it would make sense with what Asoka is saying in this episode. "so much like your father" Anakin, Not Vader)
Asoka Tano Season1 Episode8 or Season2 Episode8 Asoka sees Luke again.
Your content is amazing. Have no idea how you cut all these, but it's amazing
Again made me cry! It´s so, so nice to see Luke again, specially together Ahsoka and Gogru!
We got 3 spider men together and now we get ahsoka and luke together
I think the important part of this relationship between them, the way they getting know about each other til the first meeting and their talk about Anakin will be shown in the Ahsoka Series.
THAT was only a Teaser for it🧐
I honestly and really hope in the Ashoka series we get to see more interactions between Luke and Ashoka so we can see how they met and her telling him stories about Anakin.
In Legends it’s different but still I like that version too.
My only complain is "I want more, pleaseeeee!". Feeling back my teen times. Not feel tired to watch it and is so good to see others like me that love Star Wars and Luke!
"hey you guys wanna have a quick 20 minute conversation about the past real quick?"
"Will you call me Snips" had me rolling
I cheered seeing these 2 on screen together, hope they talk about Anakin more maybe in the Ahsoka series?
"Remember your training anakin, trust your instincts" - qui gon jinn
IM not CRYING! You are
So much like your father ....
Ashoka and Anakin relationship is just built different.
You can't tease something of this magnitude so little
I scrolled through the vid quick and wondered, "why are so many crying?" and now im wondering..."Why am I crying??" dam Star Wars and its beauty.
Boba Fetts story introduced Luke and Ahsoka together to the world!!!! Big PLUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seeing Ashoka in this episode shocked me. Wasn’t expecting it, but glad they gave it to us.
This is one of those things I didn’t know I needed until I saw it.
So much like your father - this might just be the single best line in this series.
Finale coming in a few hours 🔥
1:36 Sounds like he said "Ahsoka and Luke dogging each other"
Boba Fett: HELLOOOO. Can I make an appearance?!
Everybody: No not yet! Wait your turn!
Do you think that Ashoka talked to Luke about all the little details of her relationship with Anakin , like the fact he called her Snips at one point. Would have been really cool to have seen that interaction between them two
So much like your father…..
That sentence bring great emotional to all due hard Star Wars fans
I don’t understand how Rosario is so perfect as this character, that is God-tier, MCU-level casting 🥺👌🏻
Rosario is amazing ❤
Rosario nailed the character
Now If only we’d get a scene like this with Luke and Anakin’s force ghost.
