Thanks Robert, I've been doing auditions as well and even got shortlisted. Just with my full time job the deadlines are quite tight but thanks for the input. I'm happy you're going forward... Keep going, brother 🫶🏻 you're amazing
@@christianmorgenroth1677 that’s great, Christian. I’ll know I’m in the right track once I get my first short list. How many auditions did it take to get your first?
@DayOneVoiceover I think it was one of my first auditions - the first and only one shortlist but you know. I felt pretty good about it. Didn't get the job but it was nice for the start. It's really about also not stressing yourself out. I just take it easy these days. Keep at it and plus you can use some of your auditions as demos, too
ello! Recently discovered you a few days ago and have been slowly getting through all your videos. Its definitely refreshing seeing someone start with 0 experience and work their way up. As a new comer to voice acting and someone who also wants to be successful one day, its really nice seeing your journey. I look forward to the day you blow up(it will happen), and will follow along, while also making moves on my part.
Thank you very much! It’s definitely been an interesting decision to share this journey but it’s been really great hearing people say it’s been helpful to them. I hope you stick around for the rest of the journey!
I forgot about Mission Audition! I have homework now, thanks Robert! And keep slugging it out in those auditions! Just getting in reps can help you improve along the way!
@@HarleyTaylorVA I’m glad I could give a little reminder. It’s been a great resource for me. I still haven’t gotten short listed yet but I’m working towards it!
You and I look to be in the same place on out journey and in the same boat. Although I have gotten training and professional demos. I seem stuck in booking any kind of work at this moment. Ive done hundreds of auditions and still trying to learn how to audition properly.
@@magnumcircuit man, it seems like that’s where so many of us get stuck. I’m at about 30-ish auditions but no short lists yet. That being said, things are about to get really tough for me. If you’d like to stick around with the channel to see what happens, I’ll give you a sneak preview of my next video. I’m at a difficult, albeit exciting, crossroads. I don’t want to put VO aside but life is sending me in a different direction. If I want to stick with this, I’ll need to really stay committed. Stay tuned!
I'm new to VO (but trained as a tenor singer). If you sign up for voice123, please do a video about that too. Also, you might want to look at Peter Baker's Voiceover Masterclass training courses.
Muy orgullosa ❤❤
Robert, you are REALLY good at this TH-cam thing. The way you explain things and present the information is great. Keep it up! Thanks for doing this.
Thanks, man! I always appreciate the support! 👍🏼
This is really coming along nicely. Putting in the work is paying off!! ❤
Thanks man. Things will be changing soon, though. Hoping I can still continue this.

Thanks for sharing everything you have shared since nearly day one when I started following you.
I appreciate you sticking with the journey so far! Stay tuned for the next video because things are about to change. Major pivot coming up for me.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll check out the Masterclass training. And I’ll definitely make a video for V123 when that time comes!
