I will never be able to say this enough, but this channel, your bravery, your content, your humility and your transparency are a breath of fresh air that everyone should be exposed to. One of life's easiest things to do is cheer on a great soul. Cheers to you, Robert!!! We're here for you. You will kill it!
Thanks, Craig! I still dont know what possessed me to make this journey public but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I just hope I can still keep this up, even if it slows down a bit.
Robert, I think your true calling is what you are doing right now - this! You’re a great storyteller and a natural in front of camera! This channel is what you are meant to do! IMHO.
@@DayOneVoiceover Joe is right Robert, you're a good storyteller! You called your opening cheesy, but I thought it was really great! Look at you acting 🙌 Obviously you do what is best for you, but know that you have the support of your community to pursue whatever that is. We're always excited for your content and appreciate your honesty and transparency. It's that authenticity that resonates with us. So keep being you! Hope that you find a balance that works and that you're happy with. 😊 Congrats on the jobs 🎉
@ thank you very much!! I never really envisioned myself as a storyteller, but it does feel natural. We’ll see how I can put it all together going forward. Hell, I wonder if storytelling will translate well to editing also. 🤷🏻♂️
@@DayOneVoiceover Absolutely! Especially when structuring video to be appealing, engaging and conveying a message. Storytelling skills is key in a lot of areas of life, it's all about relatable communication. So it's awesome that it comes naturally to you. Wishing you well friend 🙏
I'm new to VO and just started learning how to make videos so I can start a TH-cam channel. Don't give up your journey. VO and videos can work together as a service to clients.
Awesome! Be sure to give me alert when you start posting them, just in case they’re on another channel. Looking forward to it and happy to give any advice along the way.
This is a GREAT video Robert as you document the real life struggles of where you're at! I'm curious if you're able to run these in parallel even for a short time to gain valuable exposure, connections and skills. I think you can still choose your own adventure as the pivot becomes real!! Keen to see where you land! SUPER, SUPER-HONOURED for the shout out dude! Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! 🙏🏾😁
Thank YOU for the inspiration. I have no choice but to run them in parallel for the time being and see which direction I get pulled into long-term. We’ll see how this goes.
Awesome video as always. I had a similar struggle a while back. Pick the things that are right for you and your situation, you never know what other doors they may open. As for VO, you can mix it up because any practice is good practice. Read aloud, repeat back things you hear on TV, do tongue twisters, & auditions when you have time, etc. What works for your schedule & won’t lead to burn out is always a good option. Wishing you the best on your journey 😁
Thank you very much!! I really appreciate the encouragement. It’s going to be a challenge but I definitely don’t want to disappear from what I’ve been doing here.
It sounds like you're really doing good things all around. I used to operate a 50ft camera crane through Panavision in Hollywood, but right now I'm a warehouse guy between getting my VO carreer going and getting my Class A Truck driving license(all while being out on injury) so I feel you. Good luck and maybe our path can cross down the road!😅
Dude, how cool would that be? Being a photographer, I’ve always wondered if I could make a decent cinematographer. Good luck on the trucking license. That’s a job I could never do. You have my respect for that.

@@JoeGemini73 haha thanks man. I would have never thought I’d myself as a good story teller but I do enjoy making these videos.

Thank you, Stacia! I have to make the most of these opportunities and not squander them.
