HOWEVER, the nest is most active between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.. Outside of that timeframe, Charmanders will spawn much less frequently, but they're definitely still there. I think that it's possible that nests have certain times throughout the day where the "nested" Pokémon will spawn more frequently.
Eggs are determined when you pick them up, I live in Germany and my friend took a vacation in the United States where he picked up a bunch of eggs but didnt hatch any. When he got back to germany he began to hatch them, he hatched a Taurus in Germany, which would only be possible if the Eggs he picked up were decided at the Location he picked them up at, not at the location he hatched them.

Technically, Silph Road classifies frequent spawn areas as nests as well...they let you report nests and mark them as : frequent spawn point, frequent spawn area, or cluster spawns(what Nick calls nests) Not that it matters, since "nests" is an unofficial term but I thought I would just point that out. If u wanna find out the difference between the nests, check out a video Silph Road uploaded(also, the nests that never change e.g. the bulbasaur nest Nick goes to, are frequent spawn areas from what I could tell...since cluster spawns seem to always migrate)
I would think that the "Egg hatches relate to where you picked them up" theory it just relative to local area not nest. ie by water = more water hatches and grass = grass hatches

+Trainer Tips This is about an ep u did a few weeks ago (Drop Rates) I was unable to get revives n potions for the last 3days so I just decided to do sm research... n my results were pokeball- 65.33% potions- 24.27% Revives- 2.89% berries- 7.51%
I did this for 50 unique pokestops n noticed 1 thing that the drop rate of potions increased a little bit as I moved away from the beach (zone with more pokestops+lures) *I did the research at santa monica. A few days ago when I was at san Francisco the conditions were totally opposite...i had to delete my revives to store pokeballs.. now.I'm thinking of conducting a research at san Francisco as well

Ive notice that Spawn areas (whether nest or habitat) have a trend of spawn frequency ratio. The most important piece to consider is Quality of pokemon (moves, IV, Rarity of Pokemon). The Jink spawn in other video is a good example. The pokemon have typically poor IV and poor move sets have a tendency to spawn in high frequency, very close proximity, in a smaller area. I live near a university and there are select spots where select good uncommon pokemon spawn. The species of pokemon spawn in select windows of time, low frequency, and decent IV and Move sets. I have notice that these spawn spots have changed also. I think this is important to keep in mind as players Map on the Silphroad page.
Got a question about the incense video. You said you get more rare pokemon or you pool from all of the pokemon when there's nothing on your sightings list. What if there was say, 1 or 2 pokemon on the sightings list and you catch them making it 0 on the sightings list. If you use a incense there would it still do the same? Or would it still take from what you just caught because for other people that pokemon is still there. Please thumb this comment up if you have the same question, Thanks Nick!

Where you hatched the Pikachu, in front of village cafe, is a frequent spawn of Pikachu. Also the Charmander would spawn in the golf course at El Dorado but that was a while ago when I noticed that.

Cypress in California has two great parks for starter Pokemon spawns. Oak Knoll park for Charmanders and Arnold park for Squirtles.

Where you hatched the Pikachu, in front of village cafe, is a frequent spawn of Pikachu. Also the Charmander would spawn in the golf course at El Dorado but that was a while ago when I noticed that.
