I have been an avid fan/supporter/customer/patron of Ruger for decades. Seeing these new platforms hit the market, and perform as they do right out of their boxes, is utter *BLISS* for me and I'm certain, many others! Thank you!
I was waiting on GOOD 10mm carbine for a while. I was looking at the Stribog, BUT I couldnt understand why they didnt make the first gen 10mm version Glock mag compatible and I didnt want to deal with another "brace" platform? I commented on Rugers FB page relentlessly asking that they make a 10mm version of their carbine, BUT they released a 45 version instead. I was elated when they released this one and for the price point, I am very happy with it. You get a folding stock, flip up sights and mlok/picatinny rails all for under $1000. Nice job
10mm Glock mags only go up to 15 rounds, and the extensions aren't that great. Unless Glock suddenly decides to make some larger 10mm mags that are reliable, you're better off designing your own.
@@joshklaver47 What’s funny is that I was looking for extra mags for it and couldn’t find any identical “Glock” 30 rd 10mm mags. I’m like wtf? Then I look at the mag and it said SGM on it. This mag is so well made and not that expensive so I’m really indifferent about it . I just ordered more of the SGMs. The way I look at it is what’s the purpose of having 15 rds or less in a carbine when I have 10mm pistols to choose from?
I have the Ruger LC Carbine in 5.7x28 and I LOVE IT. One thing that still confuses the heck out of me and that I'm HOPING you'll answer is, what's with the buttstock? The way it extends is good, but I feel like it's missing something or that I'm missing something. Is there a check weld add on that attaches? I mean, I see these holes and it looks like something could go into those holes like a cheek riser or a bigger cheek weld surface, but I don't see any accessories for it? Also, when it extends out, it leaves a big hole that pretty much gets rid of the cheek weld altogether or at the very least makes it uncomfortable. Now, with a 5.7x28 round that nearly has zero recoil, it doesn't bother me at all. BUT, I desperately want to buy your 10mm version and I'm worried that the little extra recoil it will have, and I know it's not a lot of extra recoil, but I'm worried the sharp edges and lack of cheek weld will kind of cut into the side of my face. Especially if I'm out there doing an all day competition shoot with my friends. Am I missing something here? IS THERE some sort of adapter that attaches to that to give it a nice level cheek weld all the way to the back, or is it just how it is? And, yes, I know you can buy a standard buffer tube with picatinny rail attachment, but even the lightest one out there that is foldable still weighs quite a bit more than your buttstock (the foldable part weighing so much extra than your foldable part plus, you're also adding a whole buffer tube that your stock doesn't have), so I'd REALLY like to keep YOUR buttstock, but have something to keep that surface smooth and level. Is there or will there be something out there that will address this?
Yup, Turkey’s Opinion has lots of videos on this. He’s being pretty thorough. He’s even testing stuff Ruger says not to, reloads, aluminum case, .40, all seemed to run okay iirc but obviously don’t try that at home and such and such.
I have bought the 45 auto and I got a muzzle break for it but it is extremely hard to screw it on it’s the same threads as the protecter so am I doing something wrong
For me this doesn't make much sense in a 16inch barrel when I have so many ARs and rifles. It's cool, but a 6-10 inch barrel version? I'd have to buy that. There's just no one out there making a 10mm sub gun setup unless its $1200+
I wanted this gun, but in local gunshop I found out, that the folding stock has huge, I mean huge waggle........ Company like Ruger should never make and sell anything like that. Gun is the mechanical accurate instrument and if any part has waggle , than I am not interested...
Finally they actually made a practical carbine 😊
We really need an LC Charger version of this as well.👍

I love the LC Carbine so much more than the PC Carbine, could you please make an LC Carbine in 9MM with Glock style mags?
It’s a very odd marketing strategy not to prioritise a version in 9mm.
Great, I was looking for an excuse to buy a Glock 20 Gen5, and now I have one!✌️
I have been looking for a Glock 29 since I bought a 10mm CMMG Banshee, looks like I will have the 16" LC Carbine before the Glock now.🤷♂️
Will there be a pistol version with a brace?
😆. too soon too soon
🫠
Wow! Looks great Ruger. I think you just tempted me..... Looking forward to seeing the matching pistol eventually as well. ty

Gonna wait until they make a 10mm PC Charger. What this should have been

18.6" Canada friendly version WHEN?
I gotta have this one
Would like to see a LC Charger version of this & the 45 ACP. The 5.7 for both the charger & the carbine versions, mag is just too small.
Just waiting to see if it runs with full power ammo and hardcast.
That slow Hornady 1100fps isn’t gonna cut it for me
I got mine a week ago, so far it runs a couple of different full power loads from Underwood perfectly, but I haven't tried the hard cast.
@@chrisstandingbear1947excellent!! Thx
The turkeys opinion has about 4 videos regarding this instrument. Later is different 10mm ammo

Need it as a charger
when Canada??
Will it shoot 40s&w?
get you one
Now make this in the backpacker take down model and I'll get 2
🔥👍
9mm??
Please make a pistol version!
10mm almost justifies the excessive weight. almost.

I can't believe there is no 9mm version on launch! 🙄🤷🏻♂
How about making it with a 10 inch barrel
That's called an SBR, and requires a federal tax stamp.
@@jasonshults368yea it’s bs
@@jasonshults368I don't know if you're aware, but lots of people are buying SBRs, especially now that approval times have come way down.
Now cut it down to the charging handle, take off the butt stock and you have a little Uzi
I want a pistol version of this as well with a 6-9-inch barrel.

Your right cause it'll make your weiner look small
Should be a fine bush plane gun.
Now make it in 44 mag. I SAID NOW!! 🇨🇱👍
Tell me tou know nothing about autoloading carbines without telling me you know nothing about autoloading carbines.
@@jasonshults368.44 is a rimmed cartridge isn't it?

I have 2 ideas: 1) Make an add on hand grip, that doubles as a spare magazine holder. 2) Make a bull pump stock kit, that these rifles can fit into.
It finally looks like a gun stop trying to Frankenstein things together.
Look into META… who also makes the Apex for G20’s. Takes a bit to get a smooth reload transition, but it’s nice to have any extra mag ON the “tool”.
What's the cost
Easy 850 to 900 ballpark
But the question is, can it handle Bubba's pissing hot hand loads that he did while drinking and watching Nascar?
I’ve heard that’s who Kentucky Ballistics buys his SLAP rounds from.
The .45 I handled in the store was pretty heavy …. For what it is anyway . Makes me believe they overbuilt it like they do their revolvers . 👍🙏✝️💕
