They're hard to break or damage because their plastic parts, so they're durable as hell, they can be loaded with data to use offline, and run even without purchasing a plan. They're really good for people in unpredictable situations, younger kids who may be prone to loosing belongings, older folks, etc. I honestly was just happy to have a phone so no complaint

There’s a reason there’s new employees every 3 months, easier to subject workers to horrible conditions and recruit a new batch as to not give workers benefits or more hours. Never had a problem with mine. Of course you have to be mindful just due to the inherent nature of it. Don't run it bunched up or creased. I specifically looked for one with an old analog style controller because they apparently work better with modified sine power inverters. Can't say I followed don't bunch it up very closely. I would have been better off with a heated throw for my application. To mitigate fire risk you can just use it to warm the bed up a short while before going to sleep then turn it off.

With major grocery chains making more money than they really need, I went to a small independent corner shop to replenish my toilet paper supply! Because a certain book I’d like to read isn’t available to borrow at any library close to home, I ordered a copy from an independent bookstore elsewhere in my county! I was ESPECIALLY lucky to find an indie game store in another town not too far from where I live, bought one of the Wizards and Warriors NES games there before Christmas, bought the new Kirby game for Nintendo Switch there last week! We do need more independent stores selling DVDs and Blu Rays. I did buy a Felix The Cat DVD from a film museum, but their DVDs are of old films and cartoons!

Actually got something semi related to this, used to work there from 2018-2020, and was reprimanded for helping a customer in electonics, because I was maintenance. Was straight ordered over the radio within earshot of the customer to ignore him and continue sweeping. I ignored my supervisor and helped get a coworker who could open a case he needed something from. Fortunately got corporate to throw that out thanks to the customers survey he made. Got fired in 2020 and working in fast food. Far easier, and frankly more enjoyable to me than that literal gong show.

That gateway laptop is JUST like my cheap lenovo tablet laptop. Mini hdmi, usb c, and i also firstly plugged the charger into the headphone port, they were the same size… and when you would put a lighning charger into the usb port it would sometimes make sparks
So I got the Gateway 2 in 1 touchscreen laptop around Christmas time and it’s not too bad even though it has terrible reviews too. I really like the touchscreen feature. Anyways, the biggest flaw it has is definitely the headphone jack that the charger fits in to perfectly. In the first week I had it for about a 12 hour span of time I thought I got a bunk product because the battery was beat! I definitely had the charger plugged in the headphone jack. 😳
I ordered a screen protector off Walmart, it was supposed to come in 3 days ended up taking 2 weeks, and literally the only thing I got was the screen protector it’s self. No applicator, no wipes and no dust stickers, *nothing*. I ended up returning it, and shockingly I got my $10 back without having to return the item. Yes if Walmart scams you, you have to actually *return* the item to get a refund.
We paid 50$ for my old Motorola G6 forge from cricket and it had a glass back and a fairly good screen but I mean a removable battery isn't easy to find on smartphones and can be extremely useful if for whatever reason your phone won't shut down via the power button

Bought my wife that exact gateway laptop and I did the exact samething when charging, put into the headphone jack right after opening. As for lagging, no issues there and the biggest issue we have is the wifi adapter suddenly has an issue where it has to be restarted/installed and computer restarted and it's good to go. It has an Asus bios however. I give it a 4.5/5 myself for the $200 it costed for it. She uses it daily for her RN school work and it even updated to windows 11

I have this 2 in 1, black in color, and I use it for my radar when out storm chasing. It has major issues with the network adapter. Constantly have to reset it to get it working. It runs the radar software just fine. It's not great for school or anything like that.

I picked up the 10.1” Walmart tablet for $80 on a Black Friday sale. It’s slightly better than that one as it has a faster cpu. It could run Minecraft on the lowest settings without problems but the device was very laggy. I ended up just getting an M1 iPad Pro from goodwill.
I will say, if you live in a US Cellular coverage area and find the TCL phone interesting. I recommend picking up the TCL A30 from the US Cellular prepaid section of Walmart. It is $20 instead of $40 and better yet, it is actually unlocked. It is actually pretty decent.

No applicator, no wipes and no dust stickers, *nothing*. I ended up returning it, and shockingly I got my $10 back without having to return the item. Yes if Walmart scams you, you have to actually *return* the item to get a refund.

We paid 50$ for my old Motorola G6 forge from cricket and it had a glass back and a fairly good screen but I mean a removable battery isn't easy to find on smartphones and can be extremely useful if for whatever reason your phone won't shut down via the power button

Bought my wife that exact gateway laptop and I did the exact samething when charging, put into the headphone jack right after opening. As for lagging, no issues there and the biggest issue we have is the wifi adapter suddenly has an issue where it has to be restarted/installed and computer restarted and it's good to go. It has an Asus bios however. I give it a 4.5/5 myself for the $200 it costed for it. She uses it daily for her RN school work and it even updated to windows 11
I have a similar 2-in-1 and same issue but otherwise perfect. I use it as a visual novel/touch game/debug/writing machine.
@@AstonGryffynn ibplan to get one for my fusion360 and use for 3D printing. I had my old pentium 2 laptop with windows 10 run it...slow...but did it so this should cleaning do it and a slicer program.

I have this 2 in 1, black in color, and I use it for my radar when out storm chasing. It has major issues with the network adapter. Constantly have to reset it to get it working. It runs the radar software just fine. It's not great for school or anything like that.

I picked up the 10.1” Walmart tablet for $80 on a Black Friday sale. It’s slightly better than that one as it has a faster cpu. It could run Minecraft on the lowest settings without problems but the device was very laggy. I ended up just getting an M1 iPad Pro from goodwill.
I will say, if you live in a US Cellular coverage area and find the TCL phone interesting. I recommend picking up the TCL A30 from the US Cellular prepaid section of Walmart. It is $20 instead of $40 and better yet, it is actually unlocked. It is actually pretty decent.
