Moterbike Mike here, Dude you should try putting double side stick tape under ur gastank so when u tighten it down it wont vibrate sideways on u. Peace out brother

Could trim down the baffle on the inside. Maybe cut that internal pipe down a few inches and then drill out cap for bout same results
