Rafa has become so good at articulating his ideas in English which is a surprise. Roger, whenever it was his turn to go second, was echoing exactly the same points Rafa had made. Just goes to show how well Rafa is able to put forth his thoughts in English. I honestly didn't expect this. Just feel that parenthood has added a gravitas to Rafa and it is wonderful to see.
I hope life treats them well going forward! Grateful to them both for amazing memories on & off court. They are great role models, have a great sense of humor & a lovely friendship ❤

I dont know im a fan of Novak and I always root for him when he goes against either of these two legends but Rafa and Roger are just special. They may not have the most grand slam titles but the rivalry they had and the friendship beyond the court is something else. All those beautiful moments they created together on the court will live on forever. I dont think there will never be another rivalry like these two gentlemen. Both class acts in and outside the court

Legends, a great example of healthy competition. Yeah Roger Federer I have always appreciated your tranquility, I find it difficult to keep a level head when my game is bad and I’m loosing. Nadal, the tenacity and relentless nature of your game is something that resonates with my spirit. I think these skills are not only beneficial for sport but also in life. I think the sports-life exchange is something that needs to be emphasised more. Academics can only get you so far, until you hit a wall where sporting attributes are required. Unpopular opinion: Federer vs Nadal rivalry > Nadal vs Djokovic rivalry Even though Nadal and Djokovic played each other more times and had some phenomenal matches, I think they have more similarities in their styles (both relied a lot on brute athleticism) than Federer and Nadal did. Federer’s graceful style contrasted Nadal’s physical style which made their rivalry more interesting for me.
