    The rate of rotation on the rotors and the sync rate of the camera nearly meshed. that was weird.

      Wagon wheel effect. If you think this is impressive, you should see this:

      It happens more often than you'd think. If a camera can have a controllable frame rate, you can get the them to sync all the time. Some people have suggested changing the rotation rate, but come on, that's a bit much for a little special effects.

    The spin of those roters. Is it just on devices or does it look like that in person as well?

    A tilt jet engine at the wingtips would be les cumbersome and more streamedline, aircraft manufacturer could give it a try, maybe the jet blast is the problem....

      It’s called a harrier jump jet. It’s too hot and burns the launch pad.

      @karljedrickmagat6332 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's dangerous because you can't sync the engines. If one engine loses power, you're fucked. With this, the interconnected shaft system keeps both props synced.

      Correction (to my original comment). As I suspected the AW609 is powered by two independent PWC PT6C-67A turboshaft engines rated at 1,940shp each. A tad higher than my initial estimate of 1,500shp each but close enough. That's A LOT of power... almost 4,000hp. It's wild how wide the output range in for the PT6 engine. In smaller aircrafts, it can be derated to 500-600shp, though I'm not sure if the fuel burn is any lower. Wild stuff. Id imagine this thing slurps down jet fuel like nobody's business. If I had to guess anywhere from 50-200gph. Hope it has big boy fuel tanks!

    How many RPM are the propellers of the agusta tilt rotor??

    • @malcolmabram2957
      @malcolmabram2957 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typical video speed for this sort of video is 24fps. As the rortors are going 'backwards', I would say 24 rpm is a good guess.
