I just went on offerup bought a new scratch and dent bath tub for 50$ bucks. some 2x4 boards, made a frame for the tub with a tilt to it towards the drain and ran some short pipes from the drain out so it could flow out into the yard.... I put lockable wheels on the frame because it's an outside dog tub and I can move it around to where I want when not using it.... I use the water hose with a nozzle to wash him. I live where it's hot all year so don't need hot water....

We have an old house and our garage actually has hot and cold spigots right by the inside entry door. We sure got lucky with that! This is a GREAT idea and we will definitely be doing this!

Cool. I can run with this. I'm in central Florida so I plan on this being an outdoor bath station. My Pittie will need to walk up a ramp or steps to enter the tub. I can either rig a series of concrete blocks for steps or build something. Watching your video it is obvious the dog would need to jump out and down or be lifted. Neither of those works for my pit (stroke related physical challenges) or me (several spinal surgeries) so I think finding a tub with lower sides or cutting a 'doorway' at the top of the new steps would work. Otherwise, the 110 gal tub is a perfect size in length and width.
I would love to see Part 2 to see if you address any of these issues.

good idea w/ the cinder blocks... going to use one of these tanks filled up w/ my old pup in a life vest and have him exercise his hind legs as a form of water therapy... bad arthritis leading to atrophy in his hind legs... :o(

Question(s)! This is what I have: a narrow "test tube" shower that hardly fits one person (I rent)! Could your hack somehow be converted to be set up against the opening of the shower and then be drained with the use of a hose stuck down the drain of the shower to let gravity drain it? We live near the Canada border and for 6 months in the winter it is -27 to 40ˆ above zero and the other half of the year the water that comes out of our garden hose is like 50 to 60ˆ and way too cold for my 140 lb pooch who is a Great Pyrenees. And finally, do you have any ideas about how to put in a "door" for him to walk into the tub? We will not be filling the tub with water, just turning it on and off as needed. Any suggestions would be so appreciated!
