Thank youuu ! I will start inshellah studyin tomorrow in your channel ... found myself forgetin all infos i picked up at my rotation when i was student ... good luck!! 🤍
The video was really helpful m a radiology student and I had few doubts regarding ct scan bt after watching this I am able to understand 🙂 please upload more similar videos and also how to give plates on ct*... Please it's a request maam🙂
In additional to the GE user, the fine cut for the reformat or 3D, the interval could be 0.625mm (thickness 1.25 or 0.625mm) with the Asir for the noise reduction with the Iq enchantment (this is very important for the helical artifact and beam hardening reduction.)❤❤❤
My pleasure. Thank you for stopping by and encouraging me. I need the push! Please let me know if you have any specific request that needs more focus on. I will try to get through them.
In the CT scan series description for a brain CT, it says "Base 0.75 H31s," while for different series, it says "Base 4.5 H60s." On internet dose report pages, I see "head" written. Is it normal for my dose report to say "base" instead of "head"? It seems like the cerebellum is not included in the imaging values because it says "base" instead of "head." On the internet, I see scans for brain CT described as "base+cere," but my scan with Siemens 16 Sensation only mentions "base." Are the details in the Series Description the same as in the Dose Report, and if one says "base," should the other also say "base"? Or have only the base region values been included in my imaging values? Therefore, is it not accurate to say total DLP is 927? Thank you in advance for your response.
Can you explain when you need to change ma and when to change slices thickness and the protocols standard like what numbers to pick mA ranges because every slice different mA and Kvp and slice thickness and pitch and interpolation I may not understand it but the ct machine doesn’t rotate 360 degrees for every slice it’s skips full rotation for faster acquisitions so next slice also But in fourier or image reconstruction u need 180 degrees at least to generate data Some body parts don’t get full rotation because table is moving while tube rotating
I'm not 100% sure, but if I were to guess I doubt it. If I can clarify with a radiologist I will follow up. Hopefully you'll pass it and no harm comes to you.
150ml contrast/ 3ml per second injection/ abdominal bifurcation down to the toes/ need a back up protocol to cover knee down in case the vessels under the knee is not highlighted enough due to the speed of contrast reaching the anatomy slower than the scanning speed/ reconstruction with 3mm thickness with 10mm spacing. - Please correct me if I am wrong anyone.
@@korean_john955 thanks bro for this information. I have done it once but contrast filled veins and mip imges were not good enough like angio imges.now I follow ur protocol thanks bro
Its a venous phase so it should be more delayed than the angio. Are you using an ROI or going off of timing? Sometimes we would set it up like an angio and then give it about 5seconds and then scan. Always put the scan and view slice mid range of anatomy of interest. So since this is lower legs I'd place it above the knees. Assuming there's no fracture, hardware, or foreign objects.
It'll only give an average if nothing is scanned yet. Once it's scanned then it'll give a dose. Patient size, the area being scanned and how much x-ray, how fast, etc.... It all needs to happen until there's an actual dose.
I’ve learned more from this video than my actual training on a GE scanner
I'm happy to hear!
This was super helpful, you have no idea how much you simplified this fr me. Thank you
You're most welcome. I'm glad it helped!

@@RADKhammany I have done it with timing, first I done angio with roi and then go through repeat scan with delay of 30_35 seconds.
MRIs are simply better imo
What's the radiation dose.

how to Recover deleted file from ct computer, plz help me😓
Only if the raw data files are still available. If so, use the raw data to construct new images
Thank you mam i am studying B.sc radiology mam you make more videos
