Hi Doctor could you pleasehelp me, Iam 32 I got cranial ct scan with siemens 16 My total mAs value is 4751 total DLP:927 Ctdivol 51.52 xray tube current :460 (I think fix value) exposure time 500 . Doctor, total mAs value isn't it so high?? I am so afraid of radiation dose. Could you pease explain me ?
There was a doctor that made a video recently stating that a CT scan is likely to cause actual cancer in 7-10 years from the radiation even if other doctors try to downplay the radiation amount. What are your thoughts on this?
It’s a load of rubbish. (But you see what they’ve done there, now it just looks like I’m downplaying it). There is risk with ionising radiation, albeit very low, and these risks need to be weighed up against the risks associated with not doing the scan. Will make a video one day going over risks and benefits
Sir, i HAVE done one ct head last month report was normal but now I am very depressed, at that time i have no idea about the raditation 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😳😳😳🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Thank you for the wonderful explanation, it helps me a lot as a junior doctor who is constantly being asked to screen for signs of acute ischemic stroke on a non-contrast ct brain scan
Very informative tutorial. Thanks brother. A bachelors graduand and now seeking to get my first CT scan job. This video has been a breath of fresh air surely, my confidence has just skyrocketed. I'm gonna be stack here forever. Randomly landed on yo channel as I was preparing for my interview and I smashed all the questions and the Radiologists were left in awe.
