iOS17 turned out to be a rather large update, albeit smaller but important features. One thing about it, new iOS updates always makes an older iPhone feel new again!

There’s also a feature you can turn on where messages and mail will automatically delete any 2 factor authentication messages/mail after a set amount of time. (When you log in and it says, “enter the one time code we sent you”.) So you don’t have to do it yourself, or end up with these things cluttering up your inboxes.
The automatic code filling when authenticating is problematic if it’s the only factor! I hope they implement it with another factors to make sure it’s really the owner of the phone that is accessing an information in an app
So many of these "new" features have been done ages ago before PDAs had telephony built-in. Some go back to before PDAs existed. Most of it was on Windows software by 3rd party creators. Nice to see you're finally catching up some decades later when nobody is doing that anymore.
Sadly the EU doesn't force them to, this year. If I'm remembering correctly, they'll have to implement it (at least in the EU) by the end of 2024, but could be misremembering. And I wonder how cumbersome they'll make it...

Unless you are willing to deal with bugs and errors on a fairly consistent basis, it would not be recommended to install the beta version for your daily usage phone. At least that’s what I’ve read on many articles. I was considering doing it for my phone too, but decided to wait a little longer. I hope this helps.

Hello everyone, Question? Is there anyone who is having issues with RINGTONES with IOS 17. Meaning when you upload your custom ringtones and they show up under RINGTONES but not show up under the other media like TEXT TONES or NEW VOICEMAIL etc. I just got off the phone with APPLE support and they are working on this issue. I think it may be a “bug” issue. I’m not sure if anyone else experienced this but I was proactive and went right to apple support. Hopefully they can resolve this…not a big deal but slightly annoying.
None of this seems particularly exciting to me however, I am pretty sure uncle Tim will be there on stage in the Steve Jobs Theater making it sound like it is the best thing since sliced bread.
