I read somewhere there was going to be an update to give you the option to download offline maps on apple maps. I hope this is still happening. When traveling, this is the only reason I run google maps instead of apple. I often travel where there is no cell service. Offline maps really is a game changer when traveling.

the name drop feature reminds me of the days when old phones used to have an IR sensor or something - you'd align them up to send contact details across... this is going back more than 10 years before the first iphone

Thanks iJustine, your information has helped me set up the medical ID on my phone, and Ive just figured out how to use it all, including if you point your phone away from your face and then swipe up, and on the left hand side at the bottom it has “Emergency”, which then once clicked on, on the bottom left again you can access your medical ID, of Which i have just filled out, with me being a hazard, i have a backup now haha

Great content as always and as one person pointed out, Apple should make you a presenter of new products. I do have a question though about IOS 17 that I haven't seen anyone talking about in reviews and that is why did Apple add the blurring effect when you are trying to crop a wallpaper and most importantly trying to crop a picture for the new Contact Poster feature? There are tons of complaints on reddit and I just don't understand there thought process on this decision.
The tap to share contact info makes me think we are getting closer to a black mirror episode 😂
