@@binsarm9026This is not negate being a globe. Where all seven nations are located is one CONTINENT (and small island), not the whole planet, there are a lot of other things outside this continent, like the dark sea and some other continent with escaped gods.
@@AnimeFan-ph5su hoyoverse always foreshadows stuff and they foreshadow enjou screentime in natlan by doing the first time a white day and valentine day post with npc character enjou and jeht idk a man can hope 🤷♂️
I did some map analysis and drew out the rough shape for Natlan's continent based on what we can see in game. What confuses me is this ingame map we were given in the quest. If it's just a map of the Mare Jivari, then that's fine i guess, but considering Enjou wanted it to figure out where the Mare Jivari is, I initially assumed it was a map of Natlan with the little mark on the left being the Mare Jivari, which lined up with the comments about it being to the west. But my map looks nothing like either of these maps (the map they show in the story and the small icon on the key item version in your inventory, they look similar but a bit different from each other). Most distinctly, both game versions of the map have a distinct huge point jutting out the south-east of the region, but if you look from the People of the Springs, it's pretty much all water south of the sections of Natlan we have already been. There's actually very little of visible mainland Natlan left to unlock (If Mare Jivari disappeared though, it most likely is separate from this). There's the Tollan Volcano, of course. Which has a small section connecting it east to the People of Springs as well as some foothills to the west of it (the land doesn't go too far past the volcano though, and basically not at all north/south of the volcano). There's some kind of island a fair ways west of Ochkanatlan, and then there's a bit of land spike jutting out north of the Children of Echoes (fun fact, there's also a sandy peninsula jutting out from the Girdle of the Sands in Sumeru which comes close to that peninsula edge of Natlan). But that's pretty much it, aside from a very small cutout southeast of the Children of Echoes. I couldn't see any visibly indicators of the potential location for the Collective of Plenty (you actually could see balloons and murals in the distance prior to Flower Feather Clan and Masters of the Night Wind being added), so I'm curious where it will be. I feel like it can only really be in the small sections west/east of the volcano, inside the volcano, or north of the Children of Echoes. Will be interesting to see where everything ends up!
What if Dragons are advanced enough to control or suppress Abyss . Tevyat might be homeland of Primordial one and traveller twins which was Reclaimed from abyss by dragons. Primordial might have attacked dragons misunderstanding that dragons are the ones invaded their home. Abyss corrupted or using celestia to capture or defeat dragons
Something that bothered me a lot while listening to Citlali talk about the Mare Jivari was that she said it disappeared. I think the choice of words here is very important, because this implies that it doesn't lie west of natlan. It implies that it's literally not there anymore, and hasn't been for years. Personally, because it was tied into this event quest about Sanhaj, a very powerful Border Master, I believe the creature that lurks there has similar abilities to him. I wouldn't be surprised if it manifested a night kingdom so large that it encircled the entire island, and as soon as this manifestation collapsed, so did the Mare Jivari disappear with it from the surface world.
@@Doggomorph And we will. I imagine between our strength and Enjou's wit and cunning, we will find a way. Either by venturing through the night kingdom ourselves, or by performing a ritual to return it to its place on the surface.
It has never been confirmed that Bennett comes from Mare Jivari. That’s just a huge speculation, yet unfortunately, many people believe the theory and now most are convinced it must be true
The Bennett Mare jivari connections do have merit though. Especially when you remember that Bennett himself wrote a poem in the first windblume directly mentioning Mare Jivari
Mare Jivari has been teased a lot on the recent events can't wait to explore the whole region, especially we might encounter Enjou again or probably an entire new event that would involve Enjou
I was interested in that place ever since the Venti Story Quest D: please please please we have to get there at some point. They cant just say "well it disappeared, so theres that".
Bro literally put the rocket in the thumbnail and I thought it was gonna be rocket update where we got spaceships in the game lol but we got some huge Mare Javari lore drops here anyways.
If I had a nickel for every time I played a game where dragons were capable of space flight and were mostly wiped out/grounded on their last flight, I'd have 2 nickels.
Oh so that's who the event NPC is. I thought he looked like Enjou's human self (it's been a while since Enkanomiya) and I haven't done Kinich's story quest yet. No wonder the event ended weirdly with seemingly no conclusion to the story and his whereabouts. It's just a nitpick but I don't like how the Genshin translators from different languages don't work together to decide the names, particularly in the case of Inazuman/ Japanese names. In English they called him Kokuchuu, but in the JP dub, he's called Taninaka. The difference comes from using the on-yomi or kun-yomi pronunciation of the kanji (Chinese) words, where one derives from the Chinese pronunciation and the other from Japanese. Kokuchuu is on-yomi (Chinese) while Taninaka is kun-yomi (Japanese). Looking deeper, in Kinich's story quest, he's called Sanka (on-yomi) while he's called Yamashita (kun-yomi) in the JP dub. This goes all the way back during 2.0 with Yashiro (kun-yomi) Commission for the English dub and JP dub called it Sha (on-yomi) Bugyou. I also can't help but mention that a shop in Ritou which sold the Almighty Shogun statue in an event was called Eipekkusu (which is basically just saying Apex in the Japanese pronunciation) but is actually called Tenjou-ya in JP.
I was a bit sad, that we didn't get to meet Enjou again, but if he gets bigger storyline in Mare Jivari (which seems to be Natlans underground portion of the map), I won't complain. Wouldn't it be cool to meet Varka there as well?
So, Ancient Dragon civilization is like "We have technology" but the Primordial One just came and said "Nah, you don't" and make Teyvat fantasy-based with IRL inspiration. But Leyline that governs the fate of Teyvat doesn't have deep root in Natlan. That's why the ancient dragon tech and phlogiston , the primitive from of elemental power, in still in Natlan.
Remember the Myriad Celestia Trailer: Exodus of the Five Dragons? The Progenitor of All Dragons? And how it mentions that every world has one? It's not a stretch to believe the dragons from Teyvat could travel to other worlds, even Alice has her own ways to do so.
Sir, we have giant mecha gods, god-powered google glasses, clockwork mecha with semi-sentience, jetpacks, a space whale that is hinted to be able to do interstellar travel, an underground civilization that uses an artificial sun to illuminate its entire area, and an entire ancient desert civilization with more tech than the entirety of present-day Teyvat. Do you really think that the complaints was that the motorcycle would be too advanced for Teyvat? No, our problem is that the motorcycle looks like some shit you would see out of a modern-day Motorcycle GP, not a stylized version of a motorcycle fit to the design aesthetics of Genshin. It looks so out of place as a result.
@@IllusioneTempus some people don't know shit about how tech advances. A Motorcycle is very basic tech, you only needs a tiny powerfull engine and power source to make it, that's it. And Natlan has it in abundance. In real world Steam powered motorcycle weren't practical cause it was too big until Internal combustion engine were created since then Our technology has gone out of the world. Teyvat is actually a post-apocalyptic world but unlike other game all the technology in the teyvat was lost. Researchers and Explores found old Teyvats tech and made the currently scene everything in world of Teyvat. But technology development is not linear like our so sometimes things looks out the place but actually everything makes sense. Idiot and ignorant people don't understand nor they are trying to understand that's why even Genshin Impact always reminds you that, "Teyvat has it's own Rules". This phrase applies to everything revealed in the game.
People’s complaints are less about Natlan technology can be advanced but more about the fact that only playable characters have them. And they don’t even use them in said war. Logistics win wars. No one would bat an eye if all this technology is in a peaceful nation. What’s the point of “For Natlan” if they withhold the technology they have during a crucial period? It’s always Xilonen that builds this stuff and yet none of the technology is used for the war effort. That’s just the Watsonian reason. The Doylist reason is because Hoyo doesn’t want to leak the characters’ kits. People wouldn’t have been as blindsided if they included the characters’ kits during the Archon Quest.
You're doing a fantastic job! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Enjou mentioned before that whatever he's researching is of his own interest and isn't affiliated with the Abyss Order. I forgot if he serves the Order, but whatever he's doing I bet it's to quench his own thirst for knowledge.
Abyss ORDER, not Abyss. Do not confuse the Abyss that just energy with a will that wants to destroy everything, with Abyss Order that is an organization consisting of the transformed Khaenri'ah people whose goal is to take revenge on the Gods and return Khaenri'ah.
That's literally crazy because after doing the little event puzzle, I went to bed and I dreamt of the new area in Natlan. No cap, that's actually true. It was like turquoise and kind of secluded, probably wrong, but I was certain it was in natlan. I didn't go there tho. That just proofs how genshin addicted I am. And it happened before I watched this video.
Most people seem to be having trouble reading the map. It's on the same island as the volcano, on the far west side. The map is of the entire volcano island and the Mare Jivari is marked by the "(-)" kinda symbol.
This is also the place Bennett was found. Since it disappeared 20-30 years ago, that means Bennette must either be in his early 20’s, assuming he was found 20 years ago, not 30. Making him around the same age as Ororon
What were they fighting in Mare Jivari? From what we know the breach into Khanri’ah is in Sumeru to the east of Natlan. But Mare Jivari is in the opposite direction… could there have been another event that happens simultaneously with Khaenria’ah disaster?
>This raised suspictions why Primordial One fought against an advanced civilization only to destroy everything and start a human civilization from tribal beginnings. That's precisely why it wanted to build its own civilization or, more likely, revive it. And this strongly echoes the events of Part 1.5 in HI3, where the story of the people of Venus was revealed. In that story, the god-like being Sa (the sole survivor from Venus, who gained her powers from the Sea of Quanta) arrived on a remote planet in the Solar System with a memory bank of her people and decided to restore her civilization there. The plan nearly failed, if not for a passing ship from Earth, the so-called 'Ark,' which was intercepted, and the genetic bank aboard it was used as vessels. It was also mentioned that someone had already inhabited this planet before.
wait how does it explain anything? Sure phanes might want to revive his civilization on teyvat, but what's the point of destroying dragon tech? That's the point of the question I feel. Especially when the tech is at the level of interstellar transport already, they could have other stuff. But no phanes directly fought and try to kill the dragons but did not keep the tech and wanted humans to restart in nature.
@@Evitzeoshowerthoughts Competing for resources? Are they inherently hostile to each other? One could come up with many reasons even without relying on the lore of Hoyoverse. But there’s one curious point - despite the fact that Primordial One themself had advanced technologies, the civilization of Teyvat is quite primitive, as if development had been deliberately stalled. It’s very possible that the dragons were destroyed by Primo due to their high technological level. And there’s an explanation for this: Honkai attacks advanced civilizations, and the higher the tech level, the stronger the cataclysm hits. Most likely, Primo didn’t want a repeat of the past.
@@joesreplays hmmm that could be true but the thing is primo attacked them and not honkai...so idk? but its clear that primo is alien comes form same planet of traveller or related planet...had prbly a ship and transported its ppl on tevyat the thing is 1 guy fought the whole darn dragon civilization unless he had advanced powers way advanced than dracos and dracos mightve been attacked by honkai hoyo is prbly cooking hard that in 5.3 we will get served good
@@starlight14673 I think that since dragons aren't a human civilization, the Honkai simply ignored them because it was focused on humans. And Primo destroyed them simply because didn’t expect the planet to be inhabited, and they were an obstacle to plans.
@@EvitzeoshowerthoughtsI think it’s also said somewhere that the technology of the dragons could only be operated by the dragons. Might not matter tho since the Primordial One took the Sovereigns’ power and authority.

@gokiguni Well Ochkanatlan gave a lot huge goodies. I suspect Mare Jivari will too.🥰🔥🐦🔥
That dragon lore makes ancient teyvat seem like the past civilization of honkai impact the one that involved the flame chasers
As it ultimately went the way it did because the final herrscher made so much of a mess they had to go into cryo freeze
In a very distant past before the a a Primordial One even arrived on Teyvat... The dragon civilization was advanced enough for interstellar travel?
Ah yes definitely not as advanced as a motorcycle
Ever since I read about the Mare Jivari with the hints during the loading sceeen, I always thought it would be interesting if we couldn't use Anemo there, at least in certain areas or parts of a quest since it's "somewhere the wind does not blow."
being stuck in the mare jivari and having to work with enjou in order to escape sounds like a great world quest just waiting to happen
LOL people crying over Mavuika's motorcycle being "too modern" when ancient dragons had space ships :DD
7:17 "only to destroy everything and start a human civilization from tribal beginnings"
and yet there's a motorbike, roller skates, flying gun and drill scooter
5:35 basically Sanhaj did what ningguang did with the jade chamber 😂😂
And some idiots claim "Genshin sucks" , it has the most intriguing story by far , if nothing u can play this game for Story and u will have hella journey to go :)
nah hoyo all games are good learn the lore you will love it devs clearly said they want to make their own universe which they did so except tears of themis? i think all hoyo games are connected the big seller ones?
they are mostly the payers who play only for charcaters and stuff
This is why I'm sad when people skip the story. It's so good, sometimes can be a motivation that can be applied in the real world. But I understand, not everyone have time/want to play for the story
You can’t expect more from skip button wanters lol
Every single piece of information I see regarding mare jivari is nothing but sorrow and sadness. That's where many adventurers to missing. Now I want that place to have the hardest mobs ever seen in the game. Let it be the dragonspine of my time. Let it be HARRRRDDDDD.
*proceeds to be filled with invulnerable monsters*
I'm hoping Mare Jivare shows Teyvat is not "flat earth" and wraps around to connect to East side of Mondstadt.
that's why we hear about it from Mondstadt people, they're nearer to it .
Teyvat is a continent though
I think Teyvat is like a big sphere/dome attached on the surface of a planet created by primordial one just like Hollow in ZZZ. The outside of this 'Hollow' is unhabitable for human or corrupted with forbidden knowledge 🤔🤔
@@TheCyberGoblin why would that negate being a globe?
@@binsarm9026This is not negate being a globe. Where all seven nations are located is one CONTINENT (and small island), not the whole planet, there are a lot of other things outside this continent, like the dark sea and some other continent with escaped gods.
givin how many screentime Enjou has in natlan and genshin teases it from the white day post makes me hopin that we'll se Jeht in the future
very unlikely
Doesn’t even make sense 😂. How’s this and that even related
Thank you so much !! This made things so much clearer
Been waiting for mare jivari ever since the mondstadt venti quest when I first did it back in 2020
That latter bit of info is really interesting.
I think mare jivari is where we see another dain quest
New map released:
5.2
5.4 Iansan's tribe
5.6 Mare Jivani
Its really fucking funny to me, that the Mare Jivari is a place that disappeared out of existence, in the map looks like Brazil
YOU ARE GOING TO MARE JIVARI
Not only was Granny cute, she also showed us the new area with a bunch of primogems there. What a nice grandma
Not the just a chill guy meme😭
Enjou My fav Char 🎉😂 ...
Bringing a realm into another is some Constantine level tricks.
I don't think so, even the dragon sovereigns were corrupted by the Abyss after all (like Xiuhcoatl and Apep)
I'm surprised that we got permanent mission objects. If you didn't have the event, you didn't get them. Can that have any effect on them?
It disappeard for us to find it
@@Doggomorph And we will. I imagine between our strength and Enjou's wit and cunning, we will find a way. Either by venturing through the night kingdom ourselves, or by performing a ritual to return it to its place on the surface.

Mare jivari has been pretty hyped up
And now this event
I hope it looks as desolate as they make it sound
I think he should just be called the good abyss lecture 😅
I hope that we get Bennett lore tho
Ngl a Bennett event in the Mare Jivari would go hard
Bennett is the reincarnation of Xbalanque
Lol@@kdashchronicles5204
It has never been confirmed that Bennett comes from Mare Jivari. That’s just a huge speculation, yet unfortunately, many people believe the theory and now most are convinced it must be true
The Bennett Mare jivari connections do have merit though.
Especially when you remember that Bennett himself wrote a poem in the first windblume directly mentioning Mare Jivari
Man, I love Enjou. He's one of the most helpful characters in the game and he's supposed to be our enemy
"enormous dark creature the size of a mountain" another beast similar to the all-devouring narwhal?
Mare Jivari has been teased a lot on the recent events can't wait to explore the whole region, especially we might encounter Enjou again or probably an entire new event that would involve Enjou
I was interested in that place ever since the Venti Story Quest D: please please please we have to get there at some point. They cant just say "well it disappeared, so theres that".
i havent done this event , but things are getting interesting even more
Bro literally put the rocket in the thumbnail and I thought it was gonna be rocket update where we got spaceships in the game lol but we got some huge Mare Javari lore drops here anyways.
If I had a nickel for every time I played a game where dragons were capable of space flight and were mostly wiped out/grounded on their last flight, I'd have 2 nickels.
7:11 made me think of Dr. Primitive instantly and i am not happy about it.
Mare Jivari will have airplanes and pilots
Thank for the recap.
I was a bit sad, that we didn't get to meet Enjou again, but if he gets bigger storyline in Mare Jivari (which seems to be Natlans underground portion of the map), I won't complain. Wouldn't it be cool to meet Varka there as well?
Your Friendly Hood Abyss Lector Man Enjou
So, Ancient Dragon civilization is like "We have technology" but the Primordial One just came and said "Nah, you don't" and make Teyvat fantasy-based with IRL inspiration.
But Leyline that governs the fate of Teyvat doesn't have deep root in Natlan. That's why the ancient dragon tech and phlogiston , the primitive from of elemental power, in still in Natlan.
2:05 What's the song?
I would Like to know too

Dragonspine, but with Blazing Heat instead of Sheer Cold
Enjou is my favorite NPC , you dont know what he do and is a joy to see him what bs come up
If I'm not wrong, aren't East and West flipped in Teyvat?! (because it's upside down) so Mare Jivari is between Natlan and Sumeru desert.
Remember the Myriad Celestia Trailer: Exodus of the Five Dragons? The Progenitor of All Dragons? And how it mentions that every world has one? It's not a stretch to believe the dragons from Teyvat could travel to other worlds, even Alice has her own ways to do so.
To be honest I want enjo be a weekly boss once Mari jevai is unlocked
6:39 so still thinking a motorcycle is too advanced for Teyvat and its region?
@@IllusioneTempus very well articulated
Natlan takes place during 1300-1500s Americas etc so ofc a motorcycle feels out of place. Same goes for Kinich's pixel stuff.

Can’t wait to %100 the map
Would I be correct in assuming that the grey, ashy area we see beneath ororon in the launcher screen for 5.2 is actually the Mare Jivari?
it'll be cool if enjou becomes playable someday, he seems a pretty chill guy for someone who fight for the abyss (or is he?)
@@PotatoPhoneUserhe does serve the Order, but it seems Lumine grants him the same freedom that the Tsaritsa grants her Harbingers

7:33 Wait aren't twins from a planet that fall while they were ruling it..?
hello may u make a lore video about Ochkanatlan? im very confuse about the end of that story quest ...
Mare Jivari is where that dragon-like boss (that looks like it came from Elden Ring) is. Same what they show from the leaks

I just can’t believe Enjou is back shamelessly causing trouble whoo boy
Great video cat!❤
Well he’s upto something as always😂 causing stir
This is also the place Bennett was found. Since it disappeared 20-30 years ago, that means Bennette must either be in his early 20’s, assuming he was found 20 years ago, not 30. Making him around the same age as Ororon
Hoping for Mad Max Fury Road environ aesthetics from Mare Jivari
What were they fighting in Mare Jivari? From what we know the breach into Khanri’ah is in Sumeru to the east of Natlan. But Mare Jivari is in the opposite direction… could there have been another event that happens simultaneously with Khaenria’ah disaster?
Hoyo really pulled out the Ancient Aliens card on us lmao
