@@ZyroShadowPony It's a spiritual successor to Little Big Planet - you can make and play games, animations, music, and even sculpt 3D models and such. It's a ton of fun and free if you have PlayStation Plus Extra, and there's also a demo available! Highly recommended if you like playing indie games and just experiencing weird stuff in general
Dreams is nice though but I hate that so many people put in effort into a game engine that can just be switched off at any moment. It's just not worth it I think.

I've made stuff in dreams and most of the tip toeing probably wasn't from the creator. Dreams has a weird thing with their models where if you lightly tap the button the model will tip toe, then slowly regain its footing. I mean, i dunno how to explain it but yeah
A horror survival game based on the show where COURAGE SURVIVES HORROR is brilliant. Add some comedic relief with his reactions and you've got yourself an indie hit.

The effect of the floorboards creaking back into place, the bloom added to the light from the windows, the hair stylist scare using POV perspective... this creator has a great career ahead of them
This is genuinely fantastic. A perfect fit, like a spookier Luigi's Mansion. I hope if you end up making any scenes where he's running away from a monster, he's got that hopping sprint he does!

The hallway scene was so damn good! The part where the hands came up to make it look like something was right behind the camera was fantastic!

This game could be legendary, every chapter could be a different villain. and there's such a huge rogue's gallery that you can make many chapters centered around them. you can do so much with the game, with how much the show has to offer for gameplay, the computer could be an info hub to check what your objective is if your at the farm. I hope this gets big, but more importantly, I hope to play it one day lol.
I wish a Courage game would become a reality, but this was made in Dreams on PS4. Sorry to break it to you, son.

I'd include one of the less evil villains who aren't particularly bad, just desperate or trying to get their treasure back from Eustace.
The way he walks and shakes and looks up was absolutely beautiful. All the animations were great honestly. I usually can’t handle horror games but it’s courage! You gotta play it!

man his little ear bobbing, how he walks, the doorknob animations, the camera perspective of fred, the environmental stuff like the hallway, flashlight turning off to change the environment. so many cool camera tricks, its amazing!! I wish so bad I had tons of money to actually fund a fully little courage game by you haha
I wish this was a full game, gets the balance just right in terms of keeping the tone accurate to courage but still having that horror feel.

This is really stellar! not only nailing the look and feel of the house but also being genuinely scary. It feels like you're playing as courage. I appreciate all the little fun details and spooky moments. Fantastic all around. Great sound design.
I agree. They even recreated the stylized shapes of the cartoon. I can't make models with dreams to save my life.
I love the little details like Courage shaking every so slightly at the beginning, the things outside the window you'll miss if you blink, the eerie glow in the mirror that feels unreal... I absolutely love this!
This certainly has a very large amount of potential and I hope to see more of it in the future. You've put a lot of work into the visual design and remaining faithful to the source material, which I appreciate. From the atmosphere, sound design and light horror aspects. You've got a very strong start and I wish you the best of luck going forward.
Seeing Fred’s hands accompanied with his theme song made this a masterpiece.

Another game does this very well it’s called “nobody lives under the lighthouse”. It goes on sale on the switch every now and then. It’s viewing you yourself as the player through the antagonists eyes which you would call “2nd person”.

This is masterfully done. I love how people continue to push the envelope to this day regarding the quality of the creations in Dreams. I would love to see this become a full-fledged game. I even went on dreams to check if this was playable there as a demo just cause it looks like such a fun time. Everything seems so polished. The animations are on point. Great work! Hope to see more of this project in the future.
For the health meter you could have his portrait start off laid back and then gradually get to him freaking out with his eyes bugging out of his head with that one tooth with the hole in it.
Interesting idea, could probably use the TV as a stage selection tool, kind of like how the old narrator on the TV introduced the show, that or the PC.
I was really hoping you'd have the zombie director and he looks fantastic. That musical bit from Brain Dead / Dead Alive was great too. One of my most favorite horror movies.

This is genuinely so good, it feels like an appropriate evolution of the series since we were all probably kids when we saw it and now we’ve grown up since then, meaning we can appreciate more darker themes of horror. I think the mix of intentional/unintentional horror also really helps. Unintentional meaning there’s almost this cryptic haunted style to the game to it, sort of a Ben drowned style of horror
This really is perfect terror! The quiet foreboding atmosphere, the lighting, the entire hallway sequence…ai forgot just how good Dreams really is

This is amazing!!! I know this is still a WIP but something I would love to see is courage’s actual walking animation. Like balled up,shivering, looking around and almost like bouncing up and down, picking his feet up when taking slow steps! That would be the Iceing on the cake!

This tickled so many things in my brain, it's so perfect!! Just missing the silly back-and-forth hobble in Courage's step. The tone of this has the right amount of suspense and dread with a heavy dose of nostalgia. I hope John R. Dilworth would approve!

The animations and models really sell this perfectly. It feels like it's actually courage with the way he moves, shuffles idly and interacts with the world. I'd absolutely love to see it become a full on game.

Looks really nice! It would also be super cool if he reacted and animated a little more to the ambient horror stuff. It feels a little out of character for him to be so calm, and you want some kind of emotion for the players to reflect upon when you have the camera in third person.

Courage the Cowardly Dog was the golden age of cartoons. I’m glad there are people that take its original concept, and make it into horror. Which is an understatement, because CTCD was a pretty dark show. 😨

Nice Work! I'm kind of getting Luigi's Mansion vibes from this gameplay, but Courage the Cowardly Dog? It would be fire if this got turned into a full story mode game! If there are any boss battles in this game, I would definitely want to see King Rameses' Ghost be one of them! :)
