I can’t help but think of the families that will be blessed with the stuff you’re able to give away. It feels especially important after the difficult past year.
First I was like "why would you buy new bins, you already have loads of them" but I do think that this is a nice way for you to finalize each and every part of your decluttering. And even if you have spare tubs in the end (and we all now there is no end when decluttering 😂) they are not wasted. Well done!
I rarely decorate for anything except Christmas. Very occasionally I will get 1 thing. But for spring I bring in flowers from outside, summer I have tomatoes and other vegetables overflowing on my counter and in fall I have squashes and pumpkins on the counter. I love natural things I can use up easily. You did a great job getting rid if so much!!
Just want to let you know that I belong to a declutter group on Facebook snd I have told several of the people there struggling with decluttering to go to your TH-cam so they can get motivation from you. You have done a fantastic job snd I’m sure your videos will help these people to begin their decluttering and organizing journey. You are an inspiration to so many people.
Great job, proud of you again! For me, I always search for spring decor in nature. It's a joy to collect, and no need to store anything because nature provides abundantly each year! 🌼🌷🌱😍

At my chiropractor today the subject of hoarding came up - not sure why!- and I was so glad I could tell him what I’ve learned. He was grateful too. ❤️
I tend to be more minimalistic when decorating for holidays, you are a brave woman because of the work involved in managing all that! I liked your 3 tiered set up, that must be fun to decorate for the season. And the colored bins is a good idea!
Excellent job! Look how far you've come since last year's Easter declutter! Just keep decluttering each space by rotating your areas by the week and you'll continue to make progress!!!

I’m so with you... every holiday is special and I decorate. I have been decluttering some to my kids now that they are grown and have their own homes...you can only have so many bunnies!!! 🐰 great job today!
We always decorated for the big holidays too when I was a kid growing up in the 70s. Mom went all out for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentine's Day, even Mothers & Fathers Day. She also had season decor for spring, summer, fall and winter. I think it's great that you decorate for the holidays! I still do too. I also like that you bought the new purple bins so that all of your Easter decor is now in the same color-coded bins. I'm trying to do that too.
It has. I have some things my girls made when they were small. Or that is my oldest daughter who made it. My youngest was not very creative when she was little. She just wanted to Play. But I believe I Can let go of a few items.
I like seeing how you've grown and are able to let go of things you weren't ready to last year. I think as time passes each year you'll notice things that never really get put out and it'll be easier to let them go over time. That's what we started doing at Christmas is talking about things that never make it out of bins each year, but items that are the first ones out.

Hey, relatively new viewer here ✋🏼 I just wanted to pop in and say that even though the kids might like some presents, the parents probably don’t. At least that’s how it is with my family and friends. Their kids probably have enough toys already and these seasonal plastic items might get trashed soon. I know you said gifting is your love language, I love that but in the end it doesn’t help anyone to receive gifts which they might not need (please ignore this, if you are certain your friends would love these gifts). I don’t want to sound to critical here because I admire how much progress you have done so far! Maybe just gift the items you have already and be a bit more thoughtful with further purchases? I really don’t won’t to sound rude. Also, another thing (I know I’m complaining a bit right now, please forgive me 🙈) I don’t think buying new bins and containers is very helpful. You mentioned that you have tons and tons of containers from decluttering already. So why bring new stuff in the house then? Please consider these as well-meant tips and have a great Easter with your family 💕
Is harder to gift adults. Something easy and not so wasteful is food. My love language is also gifting but as a minimalist and zero waste, I have reduced the amount of people I give gifts because I realized that I really don't know them that much to pick a meaninful gift.
@@merrivideo No, I meant the parents of the children she would like to gift these items to won't appreciate the added clutter in their homes even though the kids might. Not everyone that declutters wants to be an extreme minimalist either. I just decluttered a lot of my holiday decor as well but my sentimental heart will never be able to part with every item. Some of us truly enjoy looking at/touching/holding items that have meaning to us.
Yay! What a declutter & such gorgeous bins! 💜 You know, if you put the eggs you are keeping in a liner bag, I have feeling you could fit them into one of your new beautiful bins and free up that tub! 🌷🐇
Lol!! You know my My aunt made it for me for Easter 1991!!! Crazy right?! I wish they would bring back more vintage Easter pieces! (Or actually, maybe not bc I would buy it! Just for you only!! Lol)
The easter section is a very dangerous place for me at thrift stores or dollar stores. I LOVE Easter and Spring decor. With thrifting and dollar stores as an option, there is nothing you can't find for cheap. I love decorating for Easter or getting stuff for the future. I have to keep a level head and say, "This is cute, but I don't need it." or, "I can always find something like this in the future." My problem is all the cute stuffed bunnies and chicks/decor. I just bought ballerina shoe bookends (they were in the easter section. must have been the pink color associated with spring) for $4, regular $40! I also bought a Little Critter Easter book, a Biscuit touch and feel easter board book, and an Eric Carle Easter board book. This way I save $ on spending full price and buy what I need for daycare or future children. I also managed to get a thirty-one little basket to store board books for rotation/storage for only $3! What a find!
Good job! I have a suggestion for your sentimentals. Try to gather all sentimental things at the same spot in the basement no matter what kind of sentimental it is. If you’re not going to put the easter sentimentals up at easter you could put it in the ”sentimental” category and spot in the basement. ❤️
You are doing so well in your decluttering - I too decorate for each holiday - for the opposite reason to you - my parents only decorated for Christmas so I like to make things special for my children. But this year I did not decorate for St Patrick’s day ☘️ as we are still in a lockdown in the UK and I couldn’t have my friends visit like normal and my children are now adults - and do you know what??? I can honestly say that I preferred my house not being cluttered by the decor - food for thought for the future xx
I always go to the thrift first to get storage bins. They usually have decent ones that just need wiped out sometimes. Those Target bins are so pricey IMO.
I can so relate to Easter. Easter stuff is super cute, child inspired, and so sentimental. I only have 1 bin, but my daughter grew up and moved away 5 years ago. Lol Also, my Dad passed away on Good Friday, so I didn't celebrate for many years. But, I think watching you, I will try a little. I have an Easter tree, and my daughter and I gathered many ceramic cute bunnies.
YOU DID IT AGAIN. I am soooo proud of you. By next year this time, I truly believe you will be done. Must be honest if I was near, I would have oaid you for that bunnys and bunny basket. As well that pink basket thingy. But your house look amazing my beautiful friend. You know a little secret ...I hoard lace lint and buttons. But I use them on my babys clothes or the things I make for them. I dont have a sewing masjien so I make all their dresses and nighties by hand. They love helping me find the right colour ribbon or lace or buttons for their clothes. We all are behind you girl. So never give up. Its hard but we will carry you in our prairs. Karima South Africa

Lol!!! That’s great to hear!! Praying for health & safety in the UK during this lockdown 🇬🇧🙏🏻❤️
I'm impressed with your process. Keep being you and thanks for sharing your journey🐰🐣
Awe, thank you so so much 🙏🏻🦄🌟🐰💜
I LOVE seasonal decorations, wish I could be there with you!!!
I recommend keeping all of the kitchen supplies in the kitchen even if it's seasonal that way you can keep it all together
Good job I like the purple bins I will have to go and get one I have my Easter things in a box good job by the way you are awesome 👏
I loved how all the decoration came out and all the things you could declutter!! Hope you have fun this year!! Keep it up girl!!
You did a great job on decluttering your Easter stuff. I liked how you decorated your house for Easter as well.
Wow I'm so impressed that u can make clothes without a sewing machine! U r very talented!
@@deborahgate965 Thank you very much. It was not easy but I can not afford a masjien. So I have to make due. With the prices of girls clothes here in South Africa you learn to do many things. But thank you again. Karima
@@kfraja6411 the clothes u make your girls r better than the shop bought ones, because yours r made with love.
I just love you 🦄💜🌟 I love that you make your own clothes, I love how sweet & encouraging you are and I love that you found me 🙏🏻💗 Your messages made me so happy!!!
U did such a great job Miss Heart!
you are healing so well, so happy for you and your family! awesome job. Happy Easter
Great job as usual. Happy to see the progress you have made and continue to make. Love watching your videos.
You made that look so easy!
Great declutter friend and your Easter decor looks cute.❤️🤗
I like using larger labels typically I do a 4x6 index card or 3x5 I don't know whatever size index cards are. 😏 But I'll do that with a sharpie and right on it. You can be more detailed on another card beside it on the lid if you need to be also.
WoW! Amazing!! I know I only know you....through YT... But I am sooo proud of you! Blissings this Spring and Easter season
Awe!! You are the sweetest 🙏🏻🌸🐰 Thank you and Easter Blessings to you too 💗
WOW!!! So proud of you ☺️
Thank you so much 🙏🏻🌸🐰
@@ahoardersheart you really have been an inspiration to me. I have a disability and it has meant that my house has become so cluttered. Hubby works full time and so can only do so much. You have shown me that small steps can make all the difference. I just wish our house had a basement(cellar, I'm in the UK lol). X
You are doing a fantastic job. 😊 Thank you for sharing your journey.
Thank you so so much 🙏🏻🦄💜🌟
Great job 👏 and idea with colour boxes - genius
Thank you 💜💜 I love how this looks too 🦄🌟🙏🏻
I LOVE EASTER, that has been my favorite season. When I saw all your EASTER decor and things. Thank you. Just last week, I was telling my youngest that is the only season I want to change alot of the decor in my kitchen to be soft pasteles. My favorite colors are Red and Purple.
I want to be your neighbor. I don't have any storage space but, I have rabbits and bunnies all year long.
Awe!!! I love it ❤️💜❤️💜 I wish you were my neighbor too...we would have so much fun!!!
I love the idea of decorating for seasons/holidays but I could never do it haha. That's a lot of work 😀. Your house looks so happy and festive now!
