I'm currently playing through Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin on PS3, and I have to say, it has me fucking entranced. It's a fun game, but I can't help but be excited whenever I see an item I don't think I have. "What new tidbit of lore could this new nugget hide? What new adventures can it give me, what wonderful things hide behind the next devious trap, just beyond my reach?" This entire thing has been quite simply, an adventure. I feel my soul very deeply coincides with Onion Bro in terms of my fondness of adventure, and I really want to get my hands on 1, just so I can let him have his end, that of a warrior, dieing to assist his friend, rather than allowing him to go hollow.
For crying out loud, I have a Super Greatsword +8 (My favorite weapon so far, by the way,) and a Super Greatsword +2, just because I didn't realize they were the exact same weapon, despite looking at stats and appearances! That's how excited simply having a new item gets me!
Your songs are absolutely amazing, I actually love them all. I literally heard a clip of "Solaire's Sun" in a Dark Souls 3 PvP song, searched it up, found your channel and died inside from happiness cx "Praise the Sun!"

I've always loved this guy, i personally think he's a much better adventurer than the main character. i mean he's always ahead of the protagonist, he just gets stuck from time to time because his only focus is on the adventure itself and not how to complete a task (if he had one, can't remember if he did)
It's never really explained exactly why he's out there adventuring. It could just be for the sake of adventure, but since Sieglinde talks about her mother being sick, I like to think he's out there looking for something to help his ailing wife but doesn't want to sound soft to the Chosen Undead. Just my interpretation.
