I got one of these refurbished from Amazon. Any idea what the User Name and password will be? Or is there a way to change or make one. Trying to use the app but it’s asking for User & Password. Thanks in advance
The m6 does not offer mmWave and has a slightly slower processor. Basically, the Pro will be faster if you’re in a mmWave area. Otherwise, there won’t be any difference. They’ve been on the market for awhile now and prices have come down. Having said that, I would recommend the M6 Pro only if you get a good deal. The M1 was actually a better and more reliable hotspot, but only gets 4g LTE….which are bargains if you never plan on getting 5g in your area. There’s a new M7 out now…..keep that in mind.
Just got the exact same one “renewed” from Amazon. Was skeptical since it said ATT but it was unlocked and worked perfectly on T-mobile. I’m in a rural area and will use it in an outbuilding for my man cave, golf sim setup. Only get 4G at this point 14.7 download speed but it seems to do what I need in booting up simulator. This is suppose to be a 5G UC area based on the map. No clue why only 5G. I see there are these cylinder antennas with a high dbi number and wonder if those would be better than the antenna in your video.
Do you happen to know the latest firmware version? Just got this same one and I am having some issues. From what I am reading there is definitely a newer firmware out there but my device is not recognizing it. Thanks in advance
SO actually it did do a firmware update and I was worried when it was happening that it would brick the system but much to my surprise it did not brick it and worked as normal. Great question!
I'm looking to get this hotspot for my PS Portal to make it more useful. It needs minimum 5mbps and recommended 15mbps. Only the PSP will be connected to the hotspot. Do you think the hotspot will handle it well?

You get around the hotspot limit by opening a new line on your phone service plan then take the SIM card of the new line and stick it in the hotspot and you’ll have unlimited hotspot. I’m a truck driver and i do this exact thing
@@DTheDon305can you give more details on that? Meaning you don't just put your phones sim in but buy another and then what do you mean open another line for unlimited?
Yes I ordered the Nighthawk M6 Pro MR6500dsp from America in the UK. MR6500 is tailored for the North American Market providing faster speeds. While the MR6500dsp is for international buyers because the device is unlocked to other global Internet service providers. If I had ordered the MR6500, it wouldn't work in the UK because it only supports the North American Region
@@ahmedelnaggar9607 Both models are based on the same core technology hence they're the same price. The main difference is both are optimised for different regions and network providers. Does the antenna come with SMA adaptors to fit the Netgear mini connectors???
Ts9 that plug directly into antenna ports. It's the best antenna for any hotspot with antenna ports.
Still no no e-sim or built-in memory capabilities.
Can someone please explain what is the difference between the Nighthawk M6 Pro and non-pro version?
I believe it’s just the data speeds

The netgear antenna works best with this or any other hotspot with antenna ports.

Range ?
It has short, med or long ranges
The back cover has arrows indicating which direction to push/slide away from you to open. A lot easier than trying to popping it open.
Does this do 5G+, 5GUW?

You go though TMobile. I believe the M6 Pro is also certified with AT&T, and compatible with Verizon.
