2:45 In fairness, McMahon does have a chip on his shoulder for non-wrestling talent because his dad wouldn't let him compete. Despite all of McMahon's faults, I personally think he likes giving non-competitive talent their moment of glory in moments like this, if only as a way to continue to stick it to his old man. I could be wrong, but knowing the way McMahon's mind works, I think that's likely the best explanation.
"Weirdest Royal Rumble Entrants" I agree, but that doesn't mean they dont belong there. I personally I love weird entrants. Its what make the middle of a Royal Rumble match for me. You cant focus on dozens of men grappling in every corner. But these weird entrants are will get your attention for a while until something good happens again.
To this day Mascaras eliminating himself isn't the stupid part of that whole appearance, its the fact that he didn't eliminate himself. In fact he never went over the top rope from inside the ring at all... he stepped through the ropes to get on the apron before climbing the turnbuckle. Which means WWE officials messed the whole thing up anyway.
I heard the reason Hiroki Sumi was even in the greatest royal rumble was because the Saudi’s wanted to have Yokozuna in the rumble but I guess nobody told them that Yokozuna had died in 2000 a whole two decades and a half at the time so they decided to get a random sumo wrestler in Sumi to take the place of Yokozuna in the rumble.

It wasn't a mistake he announced him as a youungester it was a joke because he is friends with the guy and the reason he was in it because the roster was really bare at the time
Honestly, Ricardo Rodriguez in the ring was something I always wanted to see. I think Rey Mysterio made a comment about it once, how one day Alberto would be announcing for Ricardo in a turn-tables sort of situation. Truly an iconic moment, it's just a shame they dropped it immediately and made a joke out of him
I thought I heard somewhere Vickie was only in that rumble because someone else who was supposed to be in it got injured and she was a last minute replacement, similar to how The Hurricane ended up in a couple recent rumbles
You keep saying "the spot could've given to another woman on the roster"... a lot of women's Royal Rumble matches are dull now because there are a lot of similar participants. That's how light the women's roster have always been.
Having Chavo enter as ECW champion could have been fine, if they built it up as chavo trying to unify the ECW title with the raw or smackdown title. They could even turn that into a storyline and have some ECW guys get angy at him trying that and failing.

Oh, I just love these videos. It's incredible how they monetize a business they had no hand in building, all while exploiting footage of people who've sacrificed their bodies and lives for the industry. And then they have the audacity to claim that those featured shouldn't have appeared on the show, depriving them and their families of a hard-earned payday for their sacrifice and effort. Meanwhile, the creators sit back, criticize, and complain without ever having sacrificed anything for the business. If this is how they treat something they're supposedly fans of, I'd dread to see what they do to something they actually love. As someone who has personally given to the business and lost friends along the way, these videos are downright infuriating.
No Johnny Knoxville???? Well, now I question why they even put him in the Royal Rumble, since nobody remembers, (and I'm one of the few who remembers), the same with Jack Gallagher who was the only 204 Live wrestler who was in a Royal Rumble and Shawn Spears eclipsed him, (it also doesn't help that he was a victim of the Speakingout).
*204* Live? 🤣🤣 And the only reason Jack was in it at all was to do a spot where Mark Henry would throw him out while he was clutching his open umbrella and sail up the aisle a few feet; it obviously failed...
