Fans 'Heckled' Brock vs Goldberg at WM 20 is such an understatement. They ate them alive. It was one of the most brutal verbal audiences crapping on a match, ever.
I gave that a whopping minus five stars thanks to the crowd turning on both Lesnar and Goldberg FOR REAL. Not even Stone Cold as the guest referee could save it.
@@reidcraig3739 Um, Pat McAfee is actually 2-2 in singles matches. His first match was in 2020 at NXT Takeover: XXX. We do not use backwards logic in sports entertainment, as it’s almost as if NXT wasn’t even a part of WWE.
The Miz & Snoop's "debacle" shouldn't even be considered a match, it should be considered a well-improvised spot that they had to perform due to a real injury and not be in this video. Earnest and in my opinion GOOD attempts to save a portion of a show, whether it be a match or promo, should be celebrated in lists of positive things that happen in wrestling, not frowned upon in a list of "worst matches of all time".
Exactly even HHH discussed how amazing Snoop was to do that without any guidance during the post show press conference....snoop is not a pro wrestler and he knocked it out of the park

The fact that HBK had the best showing out of the four of them in that Crown Jewel match, and considering he hadn't wrestled or even really trained for a return is a testament to how talented he really is...that being said, they all should have really prepared for that match and gone the safe route.
Part of the problem was the long flight & major differences in climate. If anything, had they all arrived a day or two ahead of time, it would have been much, much better.
That is exactly why he looked better than the others , Shawn was retired from 98 until what 2001-2002? Plus from 2010 until 19, his body got much less punishment than the others which is why he could move better than them despite not having actively matches

At 17:47, the hell in a cell match between The Undertaker and Big Boss Man might’ve been boring but it was definitely shocking to see Boss Man get hanged. You definitely wouldn’t see that in today’s WWE.
It's genuinely shocking how many of these bad matches were at WrestleMania. It's their biggest show of the year and they still let a match like Kali and Kane slip by

I can't believe the Asuka/Carmella shark cage match isn't on this list. That was abysmal. Although I do respect not saddling Asuka with "worst anything", but still, the booking of that, Carmella, and Ellsworth were atrocious. Trump/Rosie at 15 is insane. That and the Patterson/Brisco evening gown match are easily 1 and 2.

I wouldn't say that...yes wrestling is terrible now but the past isn't good because NOSTALGIA....it seems like people have no clue what words mean. a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.... yea I don't wish for the past, I just wish the present wasn't garbage. So I do remember the past, but it doesn't make me wish the past was happening again, we aren't 90 and nostalgia is something for the old people who are close to death. Because they are so close to death, nothing they liked can ever happen again which is why they think about the past....if you are younger than 50, you shouldn't even be thinking of the word "NOSTALGIA" shows you have already given up and accepted nothing else will be good...

Miz and Snoop was not a match. that was a complete improvisation and it was a terrible end to the match after Shane blew out his quad. but props to Snoop for at least trying as he has had no training or any idea what to do until it all went down. Same to Miz for the improv to try to save it a little. Snoop was at least better in that part of the show than Jay Leno was in WCW in that god awful 'match' he was in.
Roman vs Brock at WrestleMania 34 was a good, intense, fast paced match. We just hated that Brock was leaving again and didn't want Roman to win the championship.

Does anyone remember Undertaker vs D Lo Brown in a pay per view match in 1999 or 2000, which majority of the match was just Undertaker putting D Lo Brown in submission holds? The chants of "boring boring" throughout the match.
While I agree with many of these, my 1 criteria would be the matches have to last at least 5 minutes to be counted among the worst. Anything less than that would be too hard to analyze. Otherwise, the real worst match ever would be Chris Jericho and Jerry Lawler vs Tazz and Naked Mideon, which lasted about 3.1 seconds, which is as quick a match that can end in pinfall can ever be.
Great content for this episode of wrestlelamia , Every single match that went for the 50 worst matches in WWE history did made the cut for me also. All this matches were awful to watch as a WWE fan. Sometimes it made me feel dissapointed to be a fan of wrestling! 😑
I was on the floor during the Unforgiven PPV. It's a miracle you could hear the ring bell. The chants of "BORING" drowned everything else Steven Richards & Tyson Tomko tried(?) to do.
Snoop vs Miz was not a sanctioned match. That would be an interference by Snoop in the Miz/Shane match. Also that people's elbow was dope and you can't convince me otherwise!

Saw several people here list the “4 Doinks” vs Bam Bams Team at SS 94…feel like during that period, WWF was focusing solely on kids 7-12 (who later became the teens/young adults that carried the Attitude Era), and being a 10 year old watching at the time, I got a kick out of it. It was fun and goofy, def not a 5*, but you need a match like that every once in awhile.
A huge oversight in not having Kane and Undertaker vs Kanyon and DDP from SummerSlam 2001 on here. Not only was the match atrocious, but the story surrounding the match was even worse. They buried DDP so bad he never recovered.
Honestly this entire list could be all Ronda Rousey matches. I'm shocked there wasnt at least 10 Ronda Rousey matches on this list. Surprised there isnt any Bella twins matches as well. As a team or separately.
That's a hard list to make. There's been so many great matches. Most nxt matches are better than Raw and smackdown matches. Might have to make it 100 best matches in wwf and wwe history. 50 from each era
Jake vs Rude at WM 4 wasn't really the result of bad booking.. it helped tell a good overall story. The fact that the match, over the course of 15 minutes, had nearly 7 minutes of reverse chin locks is what killed it
That feud was really hot thanks to the angle with Jake's wife. Booking two guys of their talent to go to a 15 minute draw shouldn't have been a problem. For some strange reason Jake never had a good WM match.
I am surprised either of them were "good" enough for WM. It was easy to forget that WWF up till the monday night wars, had very little worth actually watching
Jerry Lawler won the match with Michael Cole, then the "Anonymous" Raw GM overturned the decision and gave Cole the win. I've seen maybe half of these, and was familiar with all of them except Hornswoggle vs the Eagle. I was in no way familiar with that match. Interesting how Diesel vs Mabel have a bad match and then two months later, Mabel vs Yokozuna and Diesel vs Bulldog stunk up the same show.
Let's be fair, anything with Goldberg was bad .. the Montreal Screw job is number 1. Bret Hart and Taker could only carry so many people. Mr. Perfect was a beast. Randy Orton and Chris Jericho took care of people. If this is what you left with when the video ended, you are a real wrasslin fan.
First thing I thought,was the first WCW invasion match of: Buff Bagwell vs Booker T. Booker always great, but needed better opposition. Buff ain't got the stuff.
Since im currently watching everything from S1 E1 of Raw onwards, and im in 1994, this one stood out as an all time embarassment. butch doink, luke doink, and MOM doinks vs bam bam, bastion booger and headshrinkers. I genuinely felt bad for Bam Bam Bigelow in this match being relegated to some comedy matches. They were popular with the crowd, but man do I hate the bushwhackers. Everything about that match except for Bam Bam are awful.
Whoa whoa whoa, the Miz and Snoop were awesome. Shane blowing up his legs in a match nobody wanted to see him in was a hilarious call back to his father doing the same years back. And Snoop finishing things up in a fly with the most hilariously awkward elbow drop and then flaunting his championship belt. That was so in character and made for a hilarious moment.

I was expecting Cena vs Undertaker WM match since it lasted only 5 minutes. Or Cena vs Rey Mysterio on Raw, after Rey had won his only WWE championship for like an hour
that was pretty bad, Rey should never have won a heavy weight? world? championship, the guy is heavy enough for the cruiser weight and tag titles, but nothing of substantial value...not till he actually hits 200 pounds at least
@12:14 No, WWE had a LOT of bad PPV's in 2004, not some. The only good to decent ones were Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. No Way Out, and Backlash were decent. Every other PPV in 04 was bad. I was at the GAB 2004 PPV live (It was in Norfolk, VA). People literally were starting to leave even before the match ended.
I had nightmares about it once the broadcast finished airing. It was so bad that I had no other choice but to make the match receive a whopping minus five stars from me.
Nice video and I am here for more content but there are some spelling errors that obviously can happen but should be checked better before finishing the video. Right at the start it says "HSTORY" instead of History and the Royal Rumble 2015 is the Royal Rumble 2005 according to the screen. Given that I am only 4:40 into the video I am guessing more errors will come.
Of course Mae Young and Moolah were terrible, but I bet the payday they got carried them far in their final years. Vince was financially taking care of two legends.

I can't believe the Asuka/Carmella shark cage match isn't on this list. That was abysmal. Although I do respect not saddling Asuka with "worst anything", but still, the booking of that, Carmella, and Ellsworth were atrocious. Trump/Rosie at 15 is insane. That and the Patterson/Brisco evening gown match are easily 1 and 2.

Miz and Snoop was not a match. that was a complete improvisation and it was a terrible end to the match after Shane blew out his quad. but props to Snoop for at least trying as he has had no training or any idea what to do until it all went down. Same to Miz for the improv to try to save it a little. Snoop was at least better in that part of the show than Jay Leno was in WCW in that god awful 'match' he was in.

Roman vs Brock at WrestleMania 34 was a good, intense, fast paced match. We just hated that Brock was leaving again and didn't want Roman to win the championship.

Does anyone remember Undertaker vs D Lo Brown in a pay per view match in 1999 or 2000, which majority of the match was just Undertaker putting D Lo Brown in submission holds? The chants of "boring boring" throughout the match.
While I agree with many of these, my 1 criteria would be the matches have to last at least 5 minutes to be counted among the worst. Anything less than that would be too hard to analyze. Otherwise, the real worst match ever would be Chris Jericho and Jerry Lawler vs Tazz and Naked Mideon, which lasted about 3.1 seconds, which is as quick a match that can end in pinfall can ever be.

Saw several people here list the “4 Doinks” vs Bam Bams Team at SS 94…feel like during that period, WWF was focusing solely on kids 7-12 (who later became the teens/young adults that carried the Attitude Era), and being a 10 year old watching at the time, I got a kick out of it. It was fun and goofy, def not a 5*, but you need a match like that every once in awhile.

A huge oversight in not having Kane and Undertaker vs Kanyon and DDP from SummerSlam 2001 on here. Not only was the match atrocious, but the story surrounding the match was even worse. They buried DDP so bad he never recovered.

Jake vs Rude at WM 4 wasn't really the result of bad booking.. it helped tell a good overall story. The fact that the match, over the course of 15 minutes, had nearly 7 minutes of reverse chin locks is what killed it
That feud was really hot thanks to the angle with Jake's wife. Booking two guys of their talent to go to a 15 minute draw shouldn't have been a problem. For some strange reason Jake never had a good WM match.
I am surprised either of them were "good" enough for WM. It was easy to forget that WWF up till the monday night wars, had very little worth actually watching
Lesnar vs Kingston was a great match. Only issue was Kofi lasted too long.
Jerry Lawler won the match with Michael Cole, then the "Anonymous" Raw GM overturned the decision and gave Cole the win. I've seen maybe half of these, and was familiar with all of them except Hornswoggle vs the Eagle. I was in no way familiar with that match. Interesting how Diesel vs Mabel have a bad match and then two months later, Mabel vs Yokozuna and Diesel vs Bulldog stunk up the same show.
Let's be fair, anything with Goldberg was bad .. the Montreal Screw job is number 1. Bret Hart and Taker could only carry so many people. Mr. Perfect was a beast. Randy Orton and Chris Jericho took care of people. If this is what you left with when the video ended, you are a real wrasslin fan.

Since im currently watching everything from S1 E1 of Raw onwards, and im in 1994, this one stood out as an all time embarassment. butch doink, luke doink, and MOM doinks vs bam bam, bastion booger and headshrinkers. I genuinely felt bad for Bam Bam Bigelow in this match being relegated to some comedy matches. They were popular with the crowd, but man do I hate the bushwhackers. Everything about that match except for Bam Bam are awful.

Whoa whoa whoa, the Miz and Snoop were awesome. Shane blowing up his legs in a match nobody wanted to see him in was a hilarious call back to his father doing the same years back. And Snoop finishing things up in a fly with the most hilariously awkward elbow drop and then flaunting his championship belt. That was so in character and made for a hilarious moment.

@12:14 No, WWE had a LOT of bad PPV's in 2004, not some. The only good to decent ones were Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. No Way Out, and Backlash were decent. Every other PPV in 04 was bad. I was at the GAB 2004 PPV live (It was in Norfolk, VA). People literally were starting to leave even before the match ended.

I had nightmares about it once the broadcast finished airing. It was so bad that I had no other choice but to make the match receive a whopping minus five stars from me.

Nice video and I am here for more content but there are some spelling errors that obviously can happen but should be checked better before finishing the video. Right at the start it says "HSTORY" instead of History and the Royal Rumble 2015 is the Royal Rumble 2005 according to the screen. Given that I am only 4:40 into the video I am guessing more errors will come.
Of course Mae Young and Moolah were terrible, but I bet the payday they got carried them far in their final years. Vince was financially taking care of two legends.
