The new Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle 135 Crate Engine is made for the experienced rider who wants to turn their bike into a 135 cubic inch performance bagger.
We've done your homework - Engineered and tested as a complete collection of high-performance components by the Screamin’ Eagle pros at Harley-Davidson. This combination is designed for wide open throttle along with high-end RPMs and a significant torque increase from cruising speed. This is the most displacement, and the most power, ever created by Harley-Davidson for a street-compliant crate performance engine.
Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle 135 Crate Engine delivers 143 ft-lb of torque to the rear wheel as soon as the throttle is cranked. The Screamin’ Eagle Stage IV equipped engine includes 135 Stage IV badging on the cylinder heads and timer cover to highlight the powerplant.
This street-ready performance motor features the finest Screamin’ Eagle components: Screamin' Eagle Extreme CNC-ported cylinder heads, SE8-517 high-lift cam, new high compression forged pistons, high-performance cam bearing, high-performance tappets, patent-protected 4.31" steel sleeve cylinders, new 4 5/8" flywheel, new 68mm throttle body and CNC-machined 68mm intake manifold, new 6.2 g/ sec fuel injectors, and Screamin' Eagle Pro Billet Cam Plate and Oil Pump.

"I am really impressed with my 2022 Street Glide Special after upgrading it with the 135 Stage IV Engine. I ordered the engine in May and upgraded it in August. I also installed the D&D Exhaust System and all Screamin Eagle parts to ensure my warranty remains valid. The bike now feels great and has a satisfying growl to it."
    I am so happy. :)

Thanks for making these kits and crate motors to try and be competitive when EPA is trying to smoother your business. Twin cylinder motorcycles are not causing “climate change.” HD is at a true disadvantage to aftermarket components due to emissions controls.

I think 8 grand spent is enough right now & it’s not even a year old yet! 😮 I also added a brand new 2023 Kawasaki KLRs dual sport to my stable for some off Roading dirt road adventures this year! I considered a 131 Stage IV kit instead of a 135 Crate Engine replacement.
Is a 131 now cheaper since the 135 is being produced? I want to stay in my warranty, but I am hearing that my new stage I exhaust and head pipe upgrade would have to change again. Also my clutch as well.
The wait for my area in Pennsylvania for a 135 is likely up to December or later when it is officially released for here compared to scheduling a 131 kit upgrade next week.
I am just trying to weigh my options. Looking for any comments, thoughts, or suggestions from anyone.

Y’all gonna remove the ~108mph top speed limiter if people get this motor. I maxed out my motor, suspension, and brakes on my last custom road glide with HD, only to find that there was a 108mph top speed despite being 55k in on the bike. 😐. Dream bike, but that ruined it.

My 2011 dyna street bob has the 110 tire shredder kit making 106hp/122tq and it is plenty fast enough for me.....until I added an "actual fast bike" (2020 kawasaki z900) in my garage. Rocket 3 tourer has 106hp
