It's a really good set of armor. Someone suggested getting free fallout and making them lightweight. It may make sense to get a full sprinters set and make them all lightweight and use them to run around the commonwealth on survival.
@@TrappedInFallout yeah I mostly use it plus a never ending double barrel to basically become untouchable during combat, plus the sprinter perk and you'll be doing well in fights even on the hardest difficulty.
I'm sort of the opposite, 5 pieces of Sentinel armor with ballistic weave under armor and hat. I shoot myself in the feet with an explosive combat shotgun and it does no dmg. I'm untouchable.
@@Chrono-and-Co I'm 1 Str away from investing in Rooted...well, I just need to go get the bobblehead I've been to lazy to grab and use the point I have saved lol. Definitely overkill.
Ha ha sme here. I like to keep the pair on me at all times and use them when I need them. Similarly I also keep a sprinters pair on me also given that there is no fast travel in survival mode.
As part of my every day carry I have a jetpack. It doesn't work when wearing power armor but I seldom wear PA anyway. With a jetpack on my back I can jump off the tallest building and land as light as a feather without even engaging the jetpack.
Honorable mention would be the Wastelander's Armor due to it also being a less expensive set (Overseer's and Black Ops aren't as cheap and require a little bit of income + grape mentats unless you are a high charisma build from the start) and available almost immediately. The Chest, like the Champion Right Arm, has the Cunning effect: +1 Agi and Per, and the Biocommesh mod built in for longer lasting chem effects. You can buy it from Myrna/Percy in Diamond City. The Right Leg has Mutant Slayer's, which is 15% damage reduction from super mutants, is lead lined, and is purchased from Lucas Miller.
It's a great set and I had considered it for this content and in hindsight I should have kept it in. Thanks for sharing. I am considering making content specifically around these sets to say how they can be utilised on their own as they are very good sets.
@@edmartin875 100%. Goal is 16 Charisma, so special starting at 5, Grape Mentats, a Beer, and +5 from whatever you find early (T-Shirt, Sumer Shorts, etc.), Trilby/Fedora/Pompadour, and Black Rim or Fashionable Glasses.

Also the Trade Caravan Post item you can craft in a settlement will increase the chance that a wandering merchant will come to you instead of you having to find them. Moe could you possibly make a tutorial on how to get the set of legendary Recon Marine Armor from Far Harbor? Hey Jamick, it's a great suggestion and it's already on my list of videos to look at for the near future. I may do so so do keep your eye out for it. Thanks again for your suggestion.
Lucas stops by Tenpines Bluff frequently and Bunker Hill on rotation with the other travelling vendors for easy early game locations. He additionally stops at Greentop Nursery and Malden.
If your gaming/SPECIAL luck is good enough you can find legendary leg armor with Acrobat which is the same as Freefall. The hard part is getting a piece for each leg.
Luck actually doesn't affect legendary spawn rate, you would think it would, but legendary spawn rate is determined by difficulty setting. Character level determines the weapons and effects.
Ideal legendary combo: Commando set from Teagan (Helmet and Chestpiece) Freefall Legs (Mass Fusion) Overseer's Armguards & Guardian (Alexis @ V81) This lets you wear 3 full sets of legendary armor without having to mix & match. Plus the legendary Guardian rifle is extremely AP efficient to begin with, so it's even better when combined with these 3 legendary sets
This sounds like a great combo. In fact I have a few comments like this. I wonder if its worth making a guide covering combinations of some of these sets. I did suggest some in the video but I can dedicate an entire guide to it 🤔
I prefer this with Destroyer's legs full time to start then upgrade to the Black Ops right leg when it's affordable. I find myself running around more than jumping off unreasonably tall things that can potentially kill me. I do keep 2 ultralight Acrobats legs in my inventory for when I feel like just jumping off the Prydwen though.
@@jayedson3408 Im the same way, Destroyers for sure. Just pointing out that you can run those specific legendary armor sets together without any overlap in pieces
You can pair that time slowing piece with a rad build that keeps your health at or near the 25% threshold and combine it with the pieces that give stat boosts while low health and if you go the Nerd Rage route you can become a time dialating monster in every fight you have.
@@TrappedInFallout Go ahead, I haven't been able to complete it myself but my step brother is currently using it without Nerd Rage and he says he feels unkillable so I suggested he get Nerd Rage to complete the build so he's leveling his intelligence more so he can try it. If you manage to do it yourself and make a video both he and I would be interested in what you think of the build and it's pros and cons.
They don't stack or chain since it's the same slow time effect and proc at the same time, so you only need one or the other. Nerd Rage > Martyr's but not everyone wants to run a 10 Int build. It also isn't controllable, so it will just keep happening below 20% health regardless of if you are in combat or not. If you force it to be constant with with rads, it will just proc, cooldown, then proc again repeatedly.
@@tylerwarwick7975 Yeah, I misread. Your step brother is looking to replace Martyr's with Nerd Rage since you get the additional DR and Dmg. Makes sense. Then add Unyielding to boost all other stats...too bad it doesn't apply to END but that would sort of negate dropping below 20% hp. It really shouldn't matter in the moment, but I guess Bethesda actually thought that one through. You might know this trick already, but you can force a slow time without jet by just leaving 1 round in any Resolute weapon, swap to it, then swap back to whatever primary weapon you were using. Not ideal on console, but works on pc since you can hotkey.
Destroyers left leg and black ops right shinguard, along with the captains hat give me 30% speed boost. Recon marine chest peace over seeerser rught armgaurd give me 30% damage reduction when not moving. The overseers left arm guard reduce 10% of my vats cost but with the combo of my luck a lucky rabits foot and cerain other perks my character has unlimited vats with handguns and non automatic rifles . Find the peace pipe rifle for the chanunpa barrel and i put that on the old reliable and i do i think over 400 per shot normal without mini crits
That's sounds like a solid set of kit for a full armor setup. The one thing I would add to your setup would be ballistic weave but it also sounds like you may not need it.
Awesome, just in vault 81 at the moment so will run over to bunker hill after this via diamond city to pick up my drug stash and flood bunker hill with drugs so I can get some cool armour.

Only because I have done it soo many times now but at first I struggled alot.
why u use stupid and strange glitch- use tcl command, cheat is cheat, who cares if u start play in this way...
Because not everyone uses a PC.
Not everyone can use console commands and so the hope is that glitches will help.
You can also get to the top with a jet pack and spamming jet fuel and numa cola
Then just wait for 2 acrobat's legs to drop. Freefall legs are for fun and otherwise only accessible with a jetpack. Live a little.
