    A Korean animal rescue channel that I watch has made stories about pure bred cats found dumped in a forest. They managed to track down where they came from, and they were from a pet/cat cafe that had closed. So they just dumped the cats in the woods.

      They do that because I heard in Korea if you give your pet away you will have to pay a big amount of money to animal care acilities,so they must didn't want to spend money so cruel

    I really like "no kids zones" because some of us just really want to enjoy peace and quiet and a calming atmosphere and it's never that way even with well mannered kids. Every place in the world doesn't need to be for everybody. Forcing everybody to tolerate the chaos does not create less hate, quite the opposite.

    • @Tommie22x
      @Tommie22x ปีที่แล้ว

      we need to be tolerant of more people (kids, races, ages, disabled, etc) segregating and excluding people creates hate. you don't say no "white people zone" or "no wheelchair zone". that doesn't fly

      Being a parent in Korea is drudgery. That's a big reason why the birth rate is 0.75. There's a huge difference between taking e.g. American/Delta with kids and taking Korean/Asiana kids. Parents are held to a higher standard in Korea and this costs a lot of births.

    • @parisplayz2118
      @parisplayz2118 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No kids zones aren't bad its just that there is a fast increasing number of no kid zones so its hard for parent to go out and eat at places they enjoy. Thats why it's a problem.

    • @anna8282
      @anna8282 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@parisplayz2118 There are so many restaurants and cafés that it really can't be a problem to find somewhere to go. The world already functions on the terms of the loudest and pushiest everywhere, it's time that also peace and quiet loving people (who also are paying customers!) have places to go. Just like there are places that cater to families with kids, with play rooms and such. Many people like a calming, "sofisticated" environment (also parents on a night out!) and there is no reason to not provide that. It just really seems to bother some people that THEY can't go somewhere and that makes them want to go even more, I've noticed from some internet discussions. Even one separate "childfree room" in an otherwise open-for-all establishment caused a big hooplaa, suddenly everybody wanted specifically into that room.
      The only "acceptable" reason to ban kids seems to be bars, nightclubs etc, but not all of us adults like that kind of stuff.
      In the end it's all about profit and if paying customers want their peaceful oasis, that is what venues would probably want to offer.

    The way parents are with their kids these days a no kid zone would be nice especially in the states. I've been in the industry for 10 years and parents will even try to have their kids sit at the bar in the restaurant. Parents have taken less and less responsibility for their children. I don't know how it is in Korea but here in the states it's bad.

    I support the no kids zone personally. Sometimes you may just want a space where you dont have to be on gard with a kid knocking stuff over or causing a fuss or parents policing how you look, or what you say because "there are kids here" 🙄 maybe its different in a different country but id support this in the US 😅 also we have no pets, then should have no kids in housing. They are just as noisy and distructive so it makes sense.
    The no senior zone seems like an over reach for a specific issue. But its likely because they could not recive help with that issue so they had to take drastic measure.

    • @KitKatMEOWWW
      @KitKatMEOWWW ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I'm in the US, too and I also support "No Kids Zone" haha But I agree. The no senior zone is a little too much. At least in the US, I feel that the seniors don't have that many benefits. So, they should be welcome everywhere imho.

    • @ThePegasiPony
      @ThePegasiPony ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I agree too. Every kid will eventually get older so they can go to those places after they grow up. You can't get any younger though. I feel bad for the nice seniors who can't visit those places because there were some creeps.

    No kids zone is fine. When you have a rule like you must manage your kids if you come in, it never works because there are some parents who don’t care. Just like you can’t flirt with the young staff, it never works. Most effective method is to bar these groups.

    I think living in korea, one thing that would probably annoy me a lot would be the fine dust.
    It's a beautiful country, and there seems to be lots of outdoor activities in the city, but if you can't breathe fresh air, I would imagine that it would diminish the experience.
    BTW in england, a chicken sandwich is just literally two slices of a loaf, with cold cuts of chicken meat inbetween.
    What you call a chicken burger , we also call a chicken burger. 🐔🍔😋

      Exactly. The rest of the civilised world wouldnt be asshats and demand in a foreign country that you call it something different to what its called there.. Theres one race and one alone that i know that does this, and its one of the reasons why Australians hate Americans. Sure we love them as people, they are our brothers and sisters, but the arrogance of telling someone they should or shouldnt eat something or call it a different name because they call it something else. Its very disappointing about the cameras, but i know if i found one, id probably poop on it hahaha enjoy that for free Lol take that

    Hi Jina, the burgers here are amazing. My two favorite burger restaurants are Mom’s Touch and Lotteria. I love the shrimp burger at Lotteria and the chicken sandwich at Mom’s Touch. Also, I noticed that at pedestrian crossings without a pedestrian crossing signal, people can cross without even looking in the direction of oncoming traffic without fear of getting hit by a car. And I mean even the elderly cross the street without fear of getting hit even when a car is speeding at 30 miles per hour. That would never happen in the United States. I was shocked with mouth wide open when I saw it happening in front of me today in Busan, Busanjin, Bujeon market.

    But riding the bus can make u sick... the bus drivers tend to give u whip lash from all their violent breaking. It's constant jerking. I hate that but it's a small price to pay for being more comfortable.

    • @anna8282
      @anna8282 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agree otherwise but if I take two slices of sourdough or rye bread and put a slice of hot oven baked ham or some rotisserie chicken etc in it I'd still call it a sandwich. Whenever you order a soft drink they fill it with ice, every location indoors the Air condition it is blast on full, so you have very hot out and very cold in...The taxi drivers are not good and also they not respect pedestrians in zebra crossings....There is nowhere English and when they say it is, it is just mixed with Korean !.......

    I actually like Korean style pizza and can appreciate it as its own distinct thing from American or Italian pizza. Italian food in Korea on the other hand... 😬

    the Mom's Touch by where I used to work had the slowest workers EVER -- seriously took 45 minutes to get an order even if there was only one person ahead of you. that's the only reason i hate Mom's Touch 😂

    Jina - just laugh and point at the pervert when he exposes himself… seriously it’s part of the body! And say it so loud that everyone hears you! They want you to feel embarrassed- and you shouldn’t- they should be shamed in public! HEY LOOK AT THAT TINY TIM!!!

    I had no idea you had flashers (burberrys) there in Korea. Best response is to point and laugh. 😂

    I hate Line 1! Going home to Incheon from Seoul sucks. Not many ppl get on Line 1, towards Suwon ㅜㅜ so that line is always pretty empty, but Incheon Line 1 always has too many ppl, too hot (A/C sucks), and crazy 아저씨 and drunk ppl. I always take the express bus when I can.

    Grew up in England and chicken burger literally exists everywhere. Went on holiday in turkey, and chicken burger exists there too. Got it from popeyes and burgerking(turkey). The foreign friends you have are probably from some really poor european country.

    I passed out on Gimpo Goldline once so then took a taxi to Seoul everyday for a few months until I just moved to Seoul. I was scared for months to get back on any subway again
