The closer you get to the BIG K the more I regret that the journey is almost completed. I am going to truly miss you, Ms Lisa!

Do you think the people in the shelter are all heading to Mt. Kataudin? Not much time left to get there. I didn’t see your early videos so when you finish the trail I’ll be watching the ones I missed. 😀

In the 90s a “stealth site” was just that. A site that might not be technically legal. They were usually out of site of the AT or only used after dark. Everything else was called a campsite.

“Gadget arms”? Is that a trial balloon for a new trail name? Gotta say, I kinda like it

As Tyler explained, this use of "stealth site" is mostly a term used on the AT, and the meaning has changed from the obvious one. Out in most of the West, the vast majority of camping is called "dispersed" camping (outside of established campgrounds). Official primitive backcountry campsites are usually called just that, "primitive" campsites. The term "stealth site" in most of the country would mean a place, such as near a town, with questionable legality for camping.

Wow Lisa!!! I’m glad your feet are doing well. I like the idea of shorter distances each day to keep the feet happy. Nice strategy!!!!
