This video was amazing to watch, what a place, i watch a lot of youtubers based in L.A but none of them actually made a video being ''tourists'' in L.A, it was awesome to see, thank you guys
I've stayed in Santa Monica and walked around a lot of those areas. Great fun, although the locals thought we were odd because we walked everywhere.😋🇦🇺
@@kevinandange It was a few years ago now but the place is a few miles back from the beach. I was studying at a place nearby for 3 weeks so we needed something cheap and clean. It's the Comfort Inn Santa Monica on Santa Monica boulevard. We either walked most places or took the bus.
Kelly & Kevin, you said not to buy the CDs from people on Venice Beach, but I missed why not to buy them? Thanks for sharing the nice tour of that little slice of L.A.
They'll try to hand you the CDs like they're giving them away for free, but once you take them they'll try to charge you money and won't take the CD back. It's a common scam you'll see in cities like LA and New York
Also wanted to say my wife and I stayed at Hilton waikoloa village for our honeymoon because it looked like a great hotel from your videos. I have the Hilton surpass card as well so I used my points for that resort and we had such a great time!
Hello Kevin and Kelly Great video, we'll be in LA in August, going from LA to Vegas on Route 66, then back. Saw in video that you guys are local and thought I'd ask for your advice if there are any budget friendly hotels that are walking distance to Santa Monica pier, by budget friendly I mean under $400 a night. I also see that your in the Maldives, have a great time. You never said why not to take a DVD... Kevin & Ange
Very cool! We did a video on Route 66 through California, you should check it out! As for hotels, I'm not sure, but that area is kind of expensive. You could always stay at the Jamaica bay inn (about $250 per night) and take a 15 minute uber to Santa Monica
@@TheAwkwardTourists will check out your route 66 video. Hotels are very expensive around Santa monica. How are you enjoying the Maldives? Kevin & Ange
I love Marina Del Rey, nice place to vicit🏝
