Watched some of your guides since I switch from 11 to 14 back after they fixed beta to ARR, good to see u still providing guides for players to be able to prep themselves rather go in blind. Thanks for your years of service.
12:38 For the outside Nest of Flamevipers, the diagram is incorrect and will very likely get you killed. The spread from Nest of Flamevipers is line AOEs on every player, and so the melee players should be on the inside corner of the safe square, and the ranged on either the left or right corner, to the side of the melee, not behind.
It will work and the healers will live. You can trace a line from the middle to the 8 people and see that the ranged people aren't overlapping the melees. It's just different from PF strat; I doubt anyone would put up a guide without testing it first. Don't just discount the strat because they're merely different.
@@purple_goldfish3811 that would be true if the lines weren't big rectangles. they're the size of the aoe seen at 12:02 and 12:45. I'm not discounting the strat because it's different, I'm discounting it because I've done the fight many times and know how it works. The healers may very well live, but in that diagram the melee dps are definitely dead.
For future reference, giving the viewer a moment to appreciate what's going on would be fantastic. Constant talking makes for an expedited video, but there's so much going on in this one fight that there needs to be larger breaks or segways so that the viewer's brain doesn't explode. Thanks!
no matter how many breaks she gives, guides are too much information for one time. Watch it, pull it, watch it again with added context, repeat until comfortable.
To be honest, the guide is more confusing then the fight. Especially Snake 2. Other guides have similar issues though. There are many variants of each mechanic, and it's difficult to explain it to people who haven't done it first.
Great guide Mizz, tho I'm late to Savage, watching this fight couple times I'm kinda excited to prog this one. But PF will be PF... Mechs look like a combination of this tier's fights with baited puddles, stack/spread debuffs, timers and safe tiles, plus t7's gaze mechs from what I've heard. Thank goodness there's strats and prio systems out atm, if you or your groups did this early blind you're God Gamers
This looks like a MASSIVE pain in the ass just to get the Abyssos war axe for a glamour 😮💨 boy do I know how to pick em. I think maybe 15% of this video sticks/makes sense going to just keep practicing non savage for now. Yay 50 min queue times
i'm sorry but that stomp dead mech is just....too complicated to understand with mere words. I don't fully understand. Let's say I was the third player to get by that one attack, that makes me part of group 2, right? cuz I'm part of the second pair of players to get hit with the previous mech?
At first I made checklist of boss' moves in order break it down into smaller bits. and have a screenshot of how the big mechanic looks like. save a very long page of infographic, or powerpoint on my tablet. tap next page as the mechanic clears. usually tankbusters, raidwide, small mechanic, big mechanic > Next set tankbusters, raidwide, small mechanic, big mechanic > next set again. can always start the next page with tankbusters and raidwide, because if you are dps, it's not your job, so you have few seconds to take a glance and prepare for the next moves. after you done it few times, you almost won't need to see all earlier mechanics because you got used to it. and trained enough because everyone was wiping on first few mech and you have repeated all those mech way too often.
@@Rs3mocha Nope incorrect. The mechanics happen so fast like sunforge and tetra/octa that you need to have a good memory of what was cast cause if you don't you wipe cause you get 2 raid wiping mechanics resolving all at once numerous times through a phase.
@@ReveredDead nope if u get far enough the mechs switch up you just have to be able to recognize them and go accordingly not memorize a sequence little boy
@@mrdarkstar3756 I agree. I started late this tier and still have progged further than I ever have before (just started this fight this week). On Brunhildr so maybe Crystal is getting better...

Yeah, Seems like while doing that diagram, they forgot the spread is not for point blank target AOEs.

So happy to have your guides! Thanks for your excellent work, as always!
“Abysuss, abyssum invocat.” - The abyss calls out to the abyss. Don’t look down. Enjoy the fight. ❤️
That healer always dying tho. 😂
So it's ultimate lite correct?
where are the chapters?

hit the pause button my guy
Can you make a new simplified guide?
23 minute guide? Dear lord i aint even completed p5s yet
and that's for part 1 xd
even with a guide trying to remember this much just for 1 fight is absurd.

they genuinely took how easy normal mode was and said "yk what, fuck all of you" jeez
