Bennox: And while we work on our next Spider-Man game what we really want to truly make (The Amazing Spider-Man) for the upcoming Marc Webb movie in that is set to be released in July of 2012. Activision: Yeah sure whatever just finish up this game for us to release it to make some cash, gotta hurry we don't have a enough time we have to compete with Rocksteady Studios and WB Games by releasing your game in the month of October in the first week before Arkham City comes out on the 18th. Bad news it didn't make too much money in the market to beat Arkham City sales and it got a bad critical reception. Me: Facepalm Then the following year Bennox finish up Amazing Spider-Man and Activision release it and it made a shit ton of money in the market and got good critical reception. Then Bennox did The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Game because of the fans and because of Activision orders to make money but also for themselves but was really tired and didn't give a fuck anymore (Because they knew this was going to be their last game and they were going to hand over the Spider-Man videogame franchise to Insomiac to do their own franchise of games in the future) and it shows in that game with the graphics and textures besides the boss fights and gameplay and story and dialogue and voice acting that all too sucked dick. So there is a lesson Activision and developers don't rush your products for quick fucking cash because it will fail take your fucking time and looks like Insomiac is following that direction of thinking to make themselves some cash too by delaying their PS4 Exclusive Spider-Man game for another year to be released instead.
I rememeber when I first played this as a kid. I loved the voice acting, and the cutscenes in general. Spiderman's death and Miguel saving Mary Jane were two that I really liked. But I still remember screaming and raging at the awful game play.
I remember well my first time seeing this game in a magazine. It said the two characters would play completely different from one another. What we got was the complete opposite.
fun fact about Sloan in this game, he's played by Val Kilmer, so its kinda like spiderman trying to stop batman from shocking up the world, actually that sounds like my fanfiction
How the shock do you ruin a great concept like the one in this game? The ability to control two different people in two different time periods sounds awesome! How about the guy in the past would try to stop the villain before he becomes powerful in the past while the guy in the future would try to find weaknesses and information about the villain in the future so that the guy in the past can stop the villain easier? There is so much potential here and it is all thrown away in this mediocre beat-em-up with the two time periods waaaayyy off to really affect a whole lot in the future. Come to think of it, why isn't this game a tv special? Think about it: there is some good potential for an interesting story, an opportunity to introduce fans of Spider-Man 2099 to the current spider man tv series, and a good pilot episode for a 2099 Spider-Man tv show. But hey, that's just me and my massive shocking imagination running wild. Anyways, good review man. And nice way to use shock into your script. It's always fun to use fictional curse words instead of real ones.
I think this game's biggest problem is that some comics writer had a great idea for a story where Anti-Venom kills Spider-Man and 2099 has to save him, and then nobody had the heart to tell him they needed more story for the game until it was too late because I think the game's ads were all based around the Anti-Venom fight. There's so many cool ideas they could have done with the premise but it feels like everybody phoned it in at every possible juncture. Thank you; I'm glad you liked it!
Darklordjadow1 Yeah, it really sounds like they didn't have enough story and just padded it to make up for the lack of story. But like I said, why isn't this a tv special? That way, you could introduce fans of Spider-Man 2099 to the current spider man tv series and you don't have to worry about gameplay at all. But hey, that's just me and my massive shocking imagination running wild again.
Well this game did two things right. That scene with Anti-Venom and the two spider men. And bring Josh Keaton and Christopher Daniel Barnes together as Spider-Men in one game.
Wait, if Peter is the CEO of Alchemax, then how does he die in the past? Because if he dies, then how is he in the future in the first place, and if he survives, then Miguel wouldn't have to save him, meaning the plot wouldn't have started in the first place (outside of Sloan dicking with history, but that could easily then just be a Spiderman 2099 standalone game). And it can't be that Peter decided to just stay in the future and become CEO, because then they wouldn't have had to pull the anti-aging drug plot point, unless he's also used time travel to send the anti-aging drug back so that Black Cat is there, which doesn't make sense, and I GIVE UP! I hate time travel...
This game reminds me of Spider-Man Friend or Foe - A beat em up game where you play as Spider-Man and a somewhat decent roster of super villains and allies to fight through endless swarms of easy enemies. I kinda liked it but I would say I'd get bored after the first two stages.
2099's Free falling sections give me God of War 3 vibes... Coincidental considering that the Amazing Spider-Man's voice actor here was in one of the God of War games.
What I hated the most from Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time was the 2099 Free Fall and Noir stealth level. But I liked that apart from the flaws of these scenes the fighting was interesting for me.
I think people tend to generally have a lower expectation with video game stories than movie or books, because of how different the interactive media can enhance a otherwise mediocre story. I mean, Dragon Ball Xenoverse' story is utterly crap but a lots of people enjoy it because it let them self-insert into important Dragon Ball events. That being said... from your review I don't think this game is one of the games that uses interactivity to enhance their story.
they are all the same the only diference is some are sand box(linear play trough) and some are open world(free roaming) the new upcoming insomiac game will be open world i belive.
I think either one of these games would make a good review. The pc version of Spider-Man 2 is really bad, especially compared to the other versions. I don't know anything about Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, but it sounds like a terrors of the library type game.
I'm kinda' busy leading up to Christmas and I'm not going to have time to track down Rudolph and get a review done in time for Christmas without rushing it. Sorry; I'll keep it in mind for later down the line.
I did get it, and I'm trying to finish my AVP game boy script so I can go back to playing Spider-Man. I'm not yet convinced it's the best Spider-Man ever in gameplay, but I absolutely love its world building.
13:34-13:42 I've never understood this line of reasoning. Why would any hero think that super-villains would stop coming after the people they care about just because they aren't there? It's only ever going to result in A) Villains will be more motivated to strike at them because they know no one is going to stop them; or B) Another villain's rampage happens to put them in danger. Spidey's decision to stay in the future is as bad as Goku deciding that he doesn't want to be revived after the Cell Games in DBZ, claiming that would planet destroying villains from coming to Earth if he wasn't there (Why would he ever think that?) and decides to leave his wife to raise two children all by herself just so that he can go off on an "adventure" through Otherworld.
It especially makes no sense for Spider-Man when he has at least one very active villain who knows his secret identity- so disappearing isn't going to do jack.
Reminds me of the question Superman brought up to a journalist who hated him: if Superman wasn't there, would there be fewer Doomsdays (villains rising to challenge Superman) or Coast Citys (a disaster that happened because Superman wasn't there)?
Huh I'm kinda glad I played the ( although glitchiest version of the game ) ds version of this game which is a masterpiece compared to the hell you had to review ( although the main point of Spider-Man being dead because of anti-venom isn't there for whatever reason the story mostly is different though ).
I finished Spiderman Shattered Dimensions 12 times now, it's my favorite Spiderman game and one of my favorite games of all time, I liked edge of time too, but less than Shattered Dimensions.
I've played it quite a bit, and I'd say it still holds up fairly well (despite later Spider-Man games improving on it). The difficulties in the game even kind of worked in a similar fashion to Goldeneye or TimeSplitters in the sense that you'd be given different objectives or the way you played levels would be different (I remember sections of levels being skipped entirely on Kid Mode, for example). Not to mention, the game was probably one of the most important superhero games to have ever been made, as it basically showed that 3D superhero games could be done right (especially since it came out in the wake of Superman 64).
Gonna be honest, this game was actually meant to be a Spiderman 2099 game. As his light is the best and his gameplay while identical wasn't at the same level of frustration as the present Spiderman. I just thought that if they focused more on the 2099 material and cut off Spiderman present would've been a far less conjusted title.
This isn't the first Spider-Man game where the actual Spider-Man levels were obviously tacked on to sell a different game (cough Ultimate Spider-Man) so I could easily see that being the case.
Darklordjadow1 Actually the reason being is 2099 got insanely popular from the last game and wanted to cash in on it. But it was probably someone higher up told them to add the mainstream version. Thinking it would sell since he wasn't known to the public
i just noticed, the gameplay graphics are the only thing they changed on the wii port, all the other times they do that shit, the game itself is ALLLL different, im honestly shocked (not the replacement F word) that they did that, although i played web of shadows and ultimate alliance on the wii and they didn't change the entire game
Γεώργιος Μπουσμαλης the only true way to play it is the PS3 and Xbox 360. Since the graphics are pretty great showing that were most of the development was spent. Plus the controls are much better
Ben has moved kinda' far away so any collab that doesn't involve a Let's Play is unlikely. Dan still lives around here and he'd love to do a collab, but I almost never hear from him anymore and he didn't respond to my last text. I do- however- now have a girlfriend who'd love to do videos with me, but our situation is a little difficult right now (we live 5 hours apart, she's working and doing school, and her dad hates my stupid face) so that'll be a while.
imo the combat isn't not that bad. yes its simplistic but if you actually take advantage of the combos and upgrades it can make for some stylish outcomes. I think the game was more intentionally supposed to be that way to bring an arcadey style to it and I think it works. I take it your not into beat em ups? cause most of them will always have enemies within the next area. I will agree with you on the enemies though.
I like certain Beat-Em-Ups; I like the original TMNT2 on the NES, I like the first Ninja Turtles game licensed on the 2003 animated series, and I really like the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Nintendo DS game. I like others, but those are my favorites. It's hard to put my finger on what I like from Beat-Em-Ups.
You would think that a sequel to an okay game. Not good nor bad just okay that they would look at the good things that the previous game had as well as it's faults and improve upon the good things the previous game had while lessening the bad. They did the opposite. Wow just wow.
Hey, at least it's not the DS version, which is a phoned-in watered down port and a 2D side scrolling beat em up which only lasts AN HOUR AND 27 MINUTES WITH THE SAME ENEMIES EVERY LEVEL.
I'll definitely take a look at it... and not just because I know I'm going to get requests out the wazoo for it when it comes out- it looks pretty cool and I'm curious to see what a new dev team does with it.
Hey dlj if you want a good story you should look at Batman the telltale series, you won't get a lot of gameplay but at least the gameplay is based around the story with very little filler
The buzz is very good but I should probably warn you it's set in an alternate universe and it's a different take on batman, if you're interested on a different take on the batsman universe you may wanna check it out. It starts out slow but it gets very interesting after the first episode, and I believe the whole collection is only 25 bucks as opposed to 60
17:16 Wait, so Spider-Man kills some bad guys in the past so they won’t be there in the future? Since when is Spider-Man okay with killing? This game’s story is so inconsistent! 🤦♂️
Hi jadow! I am a recent fan. It seems clear to me me that you are extremely good at game reviews . Logic dictates that you must be even better at something else that is more profitable since there is no correlation between the quality of your content and the number of subscribers, It seems like you took a break 3years ago when youtube exploded. Your in depth reviews should have landed around 2-3 million subs. Just want to say that I love the stuff you do and wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much! I have a full time job as a mechanical engineer at an agricultural research company; though I've been thinking for a while that I need to apply elsewhere. I am pursuing a career in engineering; which is why I often have difficulty getting videos out in a timely manner. As for 3 years ago that would have been my senior year in college. Just the luck of the draw I suppose. Merry Christmas to you as well!
Coach Renaldo I know. He can always review a bad game, so maybe it's time to review a good one for a change? And it's movie licensed, which is kinda his thing.
Killerstar13 he did review some good games actually. He reviewed caster, which has yet to be finished, and he talked about the Star Wars revenge of the sith game for the DS, which is good and you should know because I actually played it!
So THIS is what Molyneux wanted for the Fable series. "I have based the entire game around one button... and this time, Spider-Man won't be able to stop me, because I've fucked with his controls too! MUHAHAHA!"
Story doesn't make a bad game worth playing, I don't care how good any one plot is. If anything, games that spend more time focusing on story and putting their efforts there tend to suck BECAUSE of that. I got no love for the point and click 'adventure' game shit like Telltale or Quantic Dream. So, when I hear people make that excuse, all I'm hearing is the biggest problem with a game.
Something tells me, judging by the recap, that the writers don't have a clear understanding of how time travel works. With that said, do you think the upcoming PS4 Spider-Man game has a chance of being good?
William Lowery Time Travel isn't real and in fiction has many different types. This one uses the one where if a change happens in the past it immediately affects the present/future. The only people who knows about the change are those who were involved in the change
Yay! You finally reviewed it! Oh and by the way, I requested this because the game was boring after one playthrough much like the prequel was. I mean the story is mediocre, the gameplay is INCREDIBLY dull, and even the DS version is better! That is just disappointing. And they got Peter's personality COMPLETELY SHOCKING WRONG. And the story becomes completely unfocused after Atrocity shows up. The only interesting part of the game is the final fight with Atrocity/Ceo Peter. I really hope that Insomniac does the Spider-Man games justice. Beenox's time is up.
Super3dBoy I think it's a case of hearing what you want to hear. Noah saw you clearing up what you said and still said you wanted the reviewer to rip it to pieces. Noah heard what he wanted to hear from you without hearing from you.
Great vid as always my friend. It's the thing with Spiderman games, they are always hit and miss. On the old PS1 the two Spider man games were pretty good,. The first game was my favorite. I remember the Monster Ock character, pity that they made that part a chase sequence instead of a fight. On PS2 when they did they Spiderman Movie game, it was surprisingly very good. They actually created a game with a unique story that had elements from the movie instead of just copying the plot from the movie flatout. It was actually very fun. The other movie games were not so good. Last Spidey game I played was Ultimate Spiderman which was a disappointment. That game should have been brilliant, but it was a jumbled mess. Much like the plot of this game.
Yeah the Spider-Man games have been very hit-and-miss. I liked the Spider-Man 2 movie game (pain in the ass Statue of Liberty mission notwithstanding) and they never got the formula correct after that. Ultimate Spider-Man was very clearly supposed to be a Venom game and they just slapped on some half-assed Spider-Man levels for marketing.
I enjoyed the second movie game, but not as much as the first. I agree about the Statue of Liberty mission, that was a pain. I do wonder if that was the case because the game was marketed mainly for Venom, not much else. All the hype for it was about playing as Venom. Obviously they felt just having a game about Venom running around and attacking people would not have sold well. But it might have. They would have had to have given him a good story and some decent goals to accomplish rather than just destroying things or else it would have turned out similar to that Jaws game you reviewed a while back
The Spider-Man 2 game is well known because it was the first open world Spider-Man game so it's widely hailed as being the big innovator in the series; along with the fact many of the other Spider-Man games that followed its lead were inferior. Spider-Man 3 and Ultimate had lousy missions, Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 ruined the navigation with the web rush trying to do shit for you (along with 2's obnoxious hero/menace system) and Web of Shadows- which I liked- doesn't have the varied side missions.
The fact that it was open world and you could interact with people I do agree was Spider Man 2's biggest positive. You always fall to your death in the older games if you tried to land on the street. I did find lots of things in the game fun, but after awhile some missions got very tedious for me, like the pizza delivery missions. They were fun at first. But got tedious real quick. I enjoyed the battles with Doc Ock and that Alfred Molina actually voiced him in the game was great. So I did like the second game, but I liked the first one more.
I really love Bruce Campbell's narration in the training sequence and openings of each movie game too. I didn't even know that there were missions in Spider-Man 2 where you have to reach a date with MJ before time runs out. We may not have liked all of the side-missions (fighting constant mech suits in the endgame royally gets on my nerves) but it had better variety than its follow-ups.
I really liked the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gamecube game; it had more simplistic combat than this, but it controlled well and had an exhilerating fast pace; plus there was actual skill involved with the game until you got to the end and had all the power-ups. I think it's just that generic beat-em-up is a popular genre for cheap cash-ins so they rarely get the effort put in that they need.
I hope you can use your TARDIS to tell the people in the past to not make these shitty games in the past and in the future there'll only be great games.
I own the first Spider-Man movie-licensed game on the Gamecube. I find it thoroughly... mediocre. Outside of the Oscorp levels with forced stealth when the stealth doesn't work IN ANY REMOTE WAY!
You didn't notice the downgrade in graphics when they were stylized and cartoonish in Shattered Dimensions, but yeah... this game doesn't have that benefit.
@Darklordjadow1 Yeah, at least with Shattered Dimensions the game’s art style made it so that the graphical downgrade was barely noticeable (For real, comparing the HD versions to the Wii one, I only really noticed a difference with the 2099 levels), but this looks like a late Dreamcast/early PS2 title.
What the shock is with this game? The story is like 3 shocking hours if you cut out MOST of the filler and the gameplay is shocking awful. WHAT THE SHOCK! By the way, great video. Shock it, pencil me in as a sub right now.
Glad to be on board! Your reviews are pretty detailed and your over-the-top yet thoughtful personality provides endless entertainment. On an off topic, do you take requests? Since Steam is having its Winter Sale (as of Dec 27th through Jan 2nd), there are a few indie games I highly recommend you check out/review: Bastion, Transistor, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (though it just came out recently, so it's not at much of a discount), and PAC-MAN Championship Edition. All of them are very good games IMO and deserve some visibility.
Dark Lord Jadow, I don't hate Spider-Man: Edge of Time or Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. They're much better than the Amazing Spider-Man movie license games. Those game are just shitty Batman Arkham rip-offs.
Josh Russell I don't hate Shattered Dimensions- I really liked it the first time I played it. I kind of hate Edge of Time and how repetitive and padded it is with its story though.
wow is this the first time you play a spider-man game? what do you think it was going to be like, it was clearly intended to be a beat em up sand box game lke any other generic sand box game out there.
why do Wii versions of these games look like a mess and the 360 version look better. also I noticed that some of the moves have been straight of ripped form web of shadows. still looking to add this to my libary tough. need to dust of he 360.
true but to be fair I am looking at the control scheme here.....but yeah the wii doesnt have that kind of shazam to bring some games to live like other consoles alltough the wii does have its gems that realy shine but those games are morelikey developed for the wii only. {reffering to the metroid games except for other M there is no other M}
The Wii has much lower graphics capabilities than the XBox 360 and PS3 but it was still capable of WAY better than most of these ported games like Edge of Time.
Another video where DLJadow is being a Batman Arkham/Rocksteady fanboy as always where he instantly punishes other games for "stealing" from his game. Pretty disgusting... makes me regret playing Batman Arkham if this is how these fanboys treat other superhero games and pretending that Batman Arkham is the most "perfect" game. Fanboy: Oh my god! I wish all superhero games were like Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series! Also Fanboy: OMFG! This game is ripping off Batman Arkham Asylum. *Batman Arkham/Rocksteady fanboy screeches initiate*
Activision: shattered dimensions was awesome, so quick whip up a game and release it next year

Yup; THEY LIED!
More like spiderman edge of filler
Spider-Man: Edge of my Patience.
Darklordjadow1 I'm stuck on the Black Cat boss fight and I'm about ready to give up. Got any tips on how to defeat her?
B.C. Rivers just keep using hyper sense
MrBrandonStar You mean that invincibility bullshit?
yes

And it was.
This game is only meant for the fans of the comics since if you read the 2099 books then you see the character development of Spiderman 2099.
Can you please review Spiderman 2 (the PC game) or more appropriately, Rudolph: the red nose reindeer (the Wii game) for Christmas?
Eileen Milligan you mean the game about a movie which is about a guy who steals toys?
TheCoolRaptor PL I mean the TV special, not that... other thing that's best left unmentioned.
Eileen Milligan yeah....
I think either one of these games would make a good review. The pc version of Spider-Man 2 is really bad, especially compared to the other versions. I don't know anything about Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, but it sounds like a terrors of the library type game.

did you get the latest spider-man game yet?
because its most definitely the best ever
I did get it, and I'm trying to finish my AVP game boy script so I can go back to playing Spider-Man.
I'm not yet convinced it's the best Spider-Man ever in gameplay, but I absolutely love its world building.
i hope everything about the game convinces you

It's trash
one man army nope
Nice ninja skills bro. :)

I played this on the xbox 360, and it looks different, and I actually really likes it when i played it when I was a kid.
I heard that people still hated it on xbox though.
I still love the story though
Imagine if we got a Spider-man 2099 game (Not by Activision)
Oh my God that would be so awesome! And maybe if it were successful WB would make a Batman Beyond game to rip it off.
" a while back I reviewed the game Spider man shattered dimensions. it was not very good" -TRIGGERED-!!!
great review ! and at 0:50 you looked like deadpool messing about xD
I had the cardboard tubs sitting around from wrapping Christmas presents and isn't that what everybody does with them?
***** well... I do the same thing although I chase down my friends with them
You are definitely the kinda dude I'd hang out with and game with. lmao. great reviews
I remember my cousin had this game. We never played it. It was just kind of there.
I finished Spiderman Shattered Dimensions 12 times now, it's my favorite Spiderman game and one of my favorite games of all time, I liked edge of time too, but less than Shattered Dimensions.
actually you can unlock bios and info as you go though the story
Wow, I wasn't expecting a reference to the Spider-Man game from 2000. Have you played it before, and if so, what did you think of it?
I've played it, but not for a long time and when I was a kid I mostly played it on Kid Mode. I really need to revisit it, but I remember liking it.
Spider-Man 2000 was definitely a great game for its time; the question will be if it still holds up after how far the series has come.
By any chance do I get gamer cred for knowing who monster ock was before you explained it?
Perfect voice actors and graphics... Beautiful cooperation between the 2 spider men.. And if you want adjust game level to hard...
Γεώργιος Μπουσμαλης the only true way to play it is the PS3 and Xbox 360. Since the graphics are pretty great showing that were most of the development was spent. Plus the controls are much better
I really like this game and shattered dimensions a lot but I still love these reviews
Great review dude. I just want to ask for a curiosity Jadow, will you eventually do a "collab" review with either of your friends Dan or Ben?
Ben has moved kinda' far away so any collab that doesn't involve a Let's Play is unlikely. Dan still lives around here and he'd love to do a collab, but I almost never hear from him anymore and he didn't respond to my last text.
I do- however- now have a girlfriend who'd love to do videos with me, but our situation is a little difficult right now (we live 5 hours apart, she's working and doing school, and her dad hates my stupid face) so that'll be a while.
15:48 I guess he didn't learn anything from Flashpoint
I played this game on wii. I enjoyed a lot.
imo the combat isn't not that bad. yes its simplistic but if you actually take advantage of the combos and upgrades it can make for some stylish outcomes.
Is It me or is the wii Version more colorful than the Xbox 360 Version
9:42 The game is so cheap it literally changes the model of the gas tanks instead of adding a few holes to the same asset
did anyone notice that?
10:53 i saw what you did there, instant like when someone references that game
WHAT?!!!! You found Spiderman edge of time in your local library?!
Yes, I found Edge of Time at the library.
They started carrying PS4 games but the only one I've seen there so far is a golf game.
You would think that a sequel to an okay game. Not good nor bad just okay that they would look at the good things that the previous game had as well as it's faults and improve upon the good things the previous game had while lessening the bad. They did the opposite. Wow just wow.
you do realize that if you were to open the options you can change how the controls are set up right?
Hey, at least it's not the DS version, which is a phoned-in watered down port and a 2D side scrolling beat em up which only lasts AN HOUR AND 27 MINUTES WITH THE SAME ENEMIES EVERY LEVEL.
Can someone explain hyper sense
May wanna do a Star Wars game or transformers.
Do you think you'll play the Insomniac Spider-Man game for PS4 when that comes out?
I'll definitely take a look at it... and not just because I know I'm going to get requests out the wazoo for it when it comes out- it looks pretty cool and I'm curious to see what a new dev team does with it.
***** Cool, I imagine it'll be good, since Insomniac are the team that made Ratchet and Clank, which was awesome.
holy shit dlj1 made a new video
Alexey Stolovoy he always uploads
SPIDER-MAN!
Hey dlj if you want a good story you should look at Batman the telltale series, you won't get a lot of gameplay but at least the gameplay is based around the story with very little filler
I have heard very little about the Batman Telltale game, but the buzz is good, isn't it? I may check it out.
The buzz is very good but I should probably warn you it's set in an alternate universe and it's a different take on batman, if you're interested on a different take on the batsman universe you may wanna check it out. It starts out slow but it gets very interesting after the first episode, and I believe the whole collection is only 25 bucks as opposed to 60
I've heard it's got alternate versions of many characters; sounds very promising.
I strongly recommend it and if you do end up playing it let me know, I'm interested to know your thoughts on it
17:16 Wait, so Spider-Man kills some bad guys in the past so they won’t be there in the future? Since when is Spider-Man okay with killing? This game’s story is so inconsistent! 🤦♂️
Hi jadow!
I am a recent fan.
It seems clear to me me that you are extremely good at game reviews .
Logic dictates that you must be even better at something else that is
more profitable since there is no correlation between the quality of your
content and the number of subscribers,
It seems like you took a break 3years ago when youtube exploded.
Your in depth reviews should have landed around 2-3 million subs.
Just want to say that I love the stuff you do and wish you a
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know i think across the spider verse was kinda inspired by this game
What plattform did you play this on? I have it for the ps3 and the graphics are WAY better on mine
Please, review X-men origins: Wolverine.
The Uncaged version is so epic.
Killerstar13 to my knowledge, it's one of the few video games where the game is better than the movie it's based on.
Coach Renaldo
I know. He can always review a bad game, so maybe it's time to review a good one for a change? And it's movie licensed, which is kinda his thing.
Killerstar13 he did review some good games actually. He reviewed caster, which has yet to be finished, and he talked about the Star Wars revenge of the sith game for the DS, which is good and you should know because I actually played it!
he'll probably said the same shit as he would with deadpool "IS JUST A BUTTOM SMASHING BEAT'EM UP" ofcorse that what its ment to be.
On Nintendo 3ds XL
So THIS is what Molyneux wanted for the Fable series.
"I have based the entire game around one button... and this time, Spider-Man won't be able to stop me, because I've fucked with his controls too! MUHAHAHA!"
Spiderman never abandons people!! spiderman abandons planets!!
I think the PS4 Spider-Man looks good, but it's too early to tell if it will be good.
Darklordjadow1 Very true, btw, you were right about the new doom, it rocks.
I KNOW RIGHT? Glad you liked the new Doom!
William Lowery Time Travel isn't real and in fiction has many different types. This one uses the one where if a change happens in the past it immediately affects the present/future.
The only people who knows about the change are those who were involved in the change
john durkan Yes, I am aware of that, it's just that in this game's case, the usage is somewhat shaky.
You requested it just so he could rip it to shreds?????
Dude really? Not cool.....
No... I also wanted to see his opinion on it also because I thought it would be funny to see his review. Also because I thought the game was bad.
Super3dBoy that was my point.
you wanted him to rip the game to pieces.
the game has a massive fanbase. your argument is invalid.
noah busch ugh... I'm not even gonna try and argue with you. You are probably just misunderstanding what I actually meant.
Ooooh +Darklordjadow1 , if THIS game got you so angry, well.... let's see what you think 'bout Spider-Man 2 PC .
00:48 that's cool btw.
Since many games you review are beat em ups, you should review Deadpool: the video game.
I doubt he would be able to do that without making the video mature.
nice another good sand box beat'em up he will ruin aswell.
***** sand box?
*****
it's not s sandbox and deadpool is a fun game but it's not great.
J- Rich what about spider man 2 or the original.
@7:21 Don't you mean "shock and terror"?
0:51 were you trying to be a cardboard tube samurai? That's a goofy way of doing it I must say...
Every Wii game is different from the real game so this isn’t for console users only Wii users
Near as I can tell the Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time games are the same on Wii as the other consoles- apart from crappier graphics.
Sorry.
Are a lot of beat them up games bad for the same reason? ( like identical enemies, terrible combat, slow pacing, etc.)
Darklordjadow1 oh I get now thank.
just like god of war
I hope you can use your TARDIS to tell the people in the past to not make these shitty games in the past and in the future there'll only be great games.
haha true shit you should review the first spiderman movie game on gamecube or pc and keep up the good work
I own the first Spider-Man movie-licensed game on the Gamecube. I find it thoroughly... mediocre.
Outside of the Oscorp levels with forced stealth when the stealth doesn't work IN ANY REMOTE WAY!
Darklordjadow1 for real
I remember this game. I didn't like it...
Jesus, the graphics in the Wii version look terrible.
Wow... You sounded shocking pissed for having to review that game.
On Xbox the graphics are great
And the game is hurst 10x better on it too
Finally
What the shock is with this game? The story is like 3 shocking hours if you cut out MOST of the filler and the gameplay is shocking awful. WHAT THE SHOCK!
By the way, great video. Shock it, pencil me in as a sub right now.
Thank you very much; glad to have you onboard!
SRSLY I LOVE EDGE OF TIME AND CONSIDER MYSELF A PRO GAMER (i have skill)
Dark Lord Jadow, I don't hate Spider-Man: Edge of Time or Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. They're much better than the Amazing Spider-Man movie license games. Those game are just shitty Batman Arkham rip-offs.
Josh Russell I don't hate Shattered Dimensions- I really liked it the first time I played it. I kind of hate Edge of Time and how repetitive and padded it is with its story though.
Darklordjadow1 I do see where you're coming from. But still I liked your review and your hilarious.
Josh Russell Thank you!
@@Darklordjadow1 You're welcome.
Why do the graphics look like shit
It's the Wii, it always gets' the shaft on graphics.
wow is this the first time you play a spider-man game? what do you think it was going to be like, it was clearly intended to be a beat em up sand box game lke any other generic sand box game out there.
thats a very
shocking
review
why do Wii versions of these games look like a mess and the 360 version look better.
also I noticed that some of the moves have been straight of ripped form web of shadows.
still looking to add this to my libary tough. need to dust of he 360.
The Wii didn't have the same hardware strength.
true but to be fair I am looking at the control scheme here.....but yeah the wii doesnt have that kind of shazam to bring some games to live like other consoles alltough the wii does have its gems that realy shine but those games are morelikey developed for the wii only. {reffering to the metroid games except for other M there is no other M}
The Wii has much lower graphics capabilities than the XBox 360 and PS3 but it was still capable of WAY better than most of these ported games like Edge of Time.
agreed
Are you seriously using the wii version?
is it an xbox exclusive
i have the 3ds version. wich it is a port of the console version
Nope, I believe it is also on PS3 and the Wii (the Wii version presumably being the one Jadow's playing.)
This game sucks so bad.
So stealth in a superhero game=Arkham rip off.Got it.
Whatever this guy is playing the game on makes it look like crap. And shock was from the classic 2099 comic so it was a good addition...
Jeez what the fuck version did you play ? The Will version looks like utter shit
oh hell no im glad i never bought this game
This game fucking sucks
To
Another video where DLJadow is being a Batman Arkham/Rocksteady fanboy as always where he instantly punishes other games for "stealing" from his game.
That was a lot of talking without actually SAYING anything.
@@tylerleach8796 So?
