Good video. Thank you. Do you have a suggestion on which brake kit to buy? Is rockauto a good option for aftermarket parts?

@Bdamazyn thanks for watching! I generally use durago premium coated rotors paired with evolution brake pads. Also, OEM parts work very well but usually come at an extra cost. I'm not sure if rockauto has the durago rotors or evolution pads. I've used them before to buy moog suspension parts but have not bought brakes from them. ACI parts plus has the brake parts I use

Question, failed an inspection for pedal going to far to floor. Ive had it inspected same place for five years and pedal has been that way since i bought it five years ago. Just changed rear pads n rotors, while doing so the left rear sljde pins were stuck after a bit of time cleaning regreased and reinstalled, pedal still goes close to floor . When car is off nice and solid as soon as it's started goes to floor bled brakes only in rear so i think fronts are next but if that downhill work not sure to replace booster or master cylinder. Funny thing when driving and coming to a stop if i slightly pump the brake it engages much sooner

@kiethpederson7558 there are a number of things to check. I would go in this order - check front slide pins, then bleed front calipers, then make sure the front brake pads aren't stuck in the bracket. If you have to force the brake pads out of the bracket then you need to replace the hardware and clean up the bracket and lubricate. If all of that doesn't work, suspect master cylinder or abs module. Although I've never seen a master cylinder or abs module go bad on one of these so I'd suspect any of the aforementioned issues. Hope this helps!
