U have over 1k now :)
Have you ever done the thing at your house when you put the e brake on to jack up the car to do your brakes and you forgot to take the e brake off and wonder why the damn brakes aren’t coming off. Also it’s my favorite when the disk part brakes off the rotor and the other piece is still stuck on. I’m kidding. I hate when that happens. But I do love hammer time.
@coreyarmastus6189 haha I've done that at the shop!🤣 it was a stick shift and I put the parking brake on like an idiot lol. Thankfully it didn't take me too long to figure it out
@@JustBrakesGuy lol yeah did that on my girlfriends Subaru not too long ago. I was like wtf what is wrong with this thing and my brother comes along like “did you take the parking brake off” and I was like 🤯.
Great tutorial. It helped a lot.

That's where someone slow would hit a rotor
@aznative_ thanks for commenting!
you what? if the disc is getting changed it really doesn't matter where u hit it ya donkey😂
Wow you're easy to entertain just a hammer and a rotor

I must have been doing it wrong all these years. Always used a fat drift punch between the studs instead of banging on the brake surface.
@robertgallagher7734 there's more than one way to remove a brake rotor😀 I'd say your method is just fine

I would go somewhere else or do it myself
@@dale8567 I'd do it myself too
If you read the owners manual, they recommend changing the hub assembly at 70,000 miles 😮, they are not trash!
My 2001 lexus rx300 has 208k miles with all the original wheel bearings. Should tell you about the quality of certain manufacturers
I would take a gravy noisey wheel bearing over having to rebuild the complete front end of any dodge or ford every year or crap ford timing chains and turbo setups 😂 upper and lower ball joints, axle u joints, axle hub seals, hubs seized every 12 month but GM is crap right?
@braydoncaldwell5676 lol never said I was a fan of any ecoboost. The most common things that I see going bad on ford pickup front ends are upper ball joints. Mind you that's almost always at 200k miles plus. Also, I'm definitely not a dodge fan. And yes GM is total garbage. Also, it's spelled "noisy"
@@JustBrakesGuy sorry didn’t realize you were my English teacher I’ll do better next time 🤣 have you ever worked on anything other then a 150? Work on any f250 or 350 and let me know how there front ends are lol ok what makes gm crap? If a bearing is all you have come back with your pretty uneducated in the trade, I literally have 3 blown up fords on my lot rn, worst issue with gm was a collapsed lifted, had it in head off and drive in under 5 hours, good luck doing that on any ford lol experience goes a long way but don’t worry I’ll make sure I spell better next time 🤣
@braydoncaldwell5676 I'm no English teacher but I do know how to spell😊 we do in fact repair heavy duty trucks at times although most of our customers have light duty trucks so I can't say that I'm that familiar with HD trucks. My boss has a 21 5.3 GMC AT4 that had the lifters go at 8k miles lol thankfully it was covered under warranty but that's absolutely ridiculous
@@JustBrakesGuy I can spell no problem, ripping on someone for clearly autocorrect it’s pretty lame in my opinion lol yea they all have there issues he bought a covid truck I worked at a gm dealer for 4 years seen it first hand but they all have there issues you can say ford doesn’t? 3 fords on the lot ones a 16 with 63000km just out of warranty with no oil pressure and 2 2017-18 with less then 120,000 need over $7000 in turbos/phasers and chains, lifters on a gm are nothing compared to chains or turbos on a ford
@braydoncaldwell5676 autocorrect will not autocorrect to incorrect spellings unless you do it consistently lol. Again, I never said I was a fan of any ecoboost engine. I do not like the ecoboosts. Anybody with half a brain can see that they are unreliable.
It may be a 💩 📦 but it's MY 💩 📦
As an oldschool chevy lover, anything after 1986 that isnt an LS engine is garbage
Nah. The 4.3 is the most underrated Chevy engine in terms of reliability. I blew mine up cause the nut job that rebuilt it before I got the truck didn’t tighten bolts on the rod caps. The bolts backed out causing me to loose 2 rods
Again what's with the gloves mechanic afraid to get there hands dirty
Not a licensed mechanic but I’ve done some work and some people just want to look presentable at the end of the day, those stains are tough. I’d imagine my wife doesn’t want my hands dirty 24/7
@@JdAsbjeld only mechanics who are married understand wearing gloves
After having completed a timing job on my 5.4 over 10 days ago with no gloves, I STILL have black shit under my nails and cuticles. Gloves are necessary with most jobs when you care about presentation.
lol! ay daren, that there breaks probably haven’t been changed in 80k miles! u wanna rag on GM for that?? u def drive ford
The brakes haven't been changed but the wheel bearing was bad lol. Chevy truck brakes are actually pretty solid. Their wheel bearings are dogwater though. And yes I do drive a Ford😊 although if I had more money, I'd rather drive a nice tundra
@@JustBrakesGuystill outlasted a ford front end 😂
