I've been a huge fan of Alan Garner for 50 years. The Owl Service has continued to yeild insights into the meaning of the Blodduedd story as the decades pass.

I will be posting an adaptation of The Owl Service in the relatively near future - but also, near to Christmas, a reading of The Giant Under the Snow, which isn't Alan Garner but was acclaimed by many as being very much in the same style...
