    I'm such a fan of Alan Garner ever since reading The Owl Service at school. I'm really looking forward to reading this book.

    I will not lie- I’ve yet to read this, but have it in my possession & it’s moved exponentially up my TBR 6:28 into this video.

    Just read Treacle Walker and I found it enchanting. I think that Jo has died and needs healing to pass on. Though that’s my view and I may be so far off ❤

    I love how he keeps the air of mystery intact. Maybe we should never know the meaning of the book (or should I say, we should never know Alan’s meaning).

      there isn't one apparent meaning, living energies surface and dip, many meanings and lost meanings, private golden and revealed for what reason? a Pincher Martin by William Golding does similar
