I don’t even have a hearing impairment, I just have sensory processing issues that can make sounds kinda melt together sometimes along with other ish. The subtitles help tell my brain what those word slurs are so I can hear what it is! Steve’s just the 🐐
I love when a heckler speaks up, a few seconds pass, and you see Steve get a smile on his face. He gets that smile because he's figured it out, He's about to kill someone with words and he's enjoying it before the inevitable.

As a Jewish person in Alaska (Wasilla - think Sarah Palin country as my base experience here), where let’s be honest, our population is reeeeeeaally small, I encounter a lot of behavior in general like you do when you are forced to address hecklers in your shows. In the shit year that is 2020, you made me laugh and you gave me ways to address the persistent ignorance. You are down to earth, brutally honest, and hilarious. Thanks for brightening my year. One of the rare bits of good to experience in 2020, for me, one was to learn you exist. Keep it up. His ability to quickly think of absolutely devastating comebacks, and tying a previously said joke into a new insult, against the heckler, is like watching any artist use their talents to create. Comedy is most definitely an art form, and Steve is without a doubt a master.
I did a karaoke performance after a Comedian's performance at an open mic many years ago. The sick witch who continually talked while the Comic performed did the same as I sang. People clapped after I sang. Immediately after that, I walked to Her table, leaned directly in front of her face, and screamed "shut up" at the top of my lungs. There was a standing ovation as Security lead her out of the Club.

Cheers, Steve! I hope you can make it down here to the boonies of Indiana when you are touring the midwest. There are a couple of spots in my local area that you could hit up for a show. Not comedy clubs, per se. But, I'm sure that either one would have no problems hosting some comedians.
The part with the aspiring comedian was priceless and well played. I've never succeeded at anything with one foot out the door. You have to suck before you get good, so you might as well get all the suck out of your system quickly.
In Brazil this would have a complete different outcome... The crowd would just say to the person who’s interrupting to shut up, and that would be it. I love your jokes Steve, an awesome guy!!

I gotta say… I have to be careful how many of your heckler videos I watch… I’m a teacher and one day my student came in telling me he hurt his knee. He was trying to explain the problem and was pointing at his patella, so I said ‘Oh, so you hurt your patella’, he said ‘No, I hurt my knee…’. I explained that that part of his knee was called the patella… several times… because he kept disagreeing. Finally I just said ok. Later in the lesson I was introducing a project and he kept interrupting me. I replied with ‘Pipe down Patella!’ To which he responded with a genuinely wounded look. I paused, chuckled a bit and said ‘Sorry, I’ve been watching a lot of heckler videos and I guess it rubbed off.’ Oops. 😂
