It’s very common in the sense of how often it happens to comedians of all sorts. Like Drew Lynch. Thing is not all comedians film all their shows. Or usually edit it out. Just get drunk people and it’ll happen. Steve says to those who believe it’s fake it simply go to one show 5-10 times (I think, don’t remember it exactly) and at least one of those times, likely during a late show there’ll be an idiot to yell out. Also Steve isn’t super famous, he’s well known certainly, but not everyone knows who he is. So they might not know about the whole heckling thing. A lot of his videos or also from like 14 years ago as well. I myself didn’t know who Steve was until a few months ago. Not saying it isn’t impossible for it to be planted, just saying that it’s also very likely not. It can go either way.

I was in charge of video at a Spanky show, then I was put in charge of lighting. I had some work lights, halogen, and no high mounts, it was lit from stage level. This was right in his eyes, he even made a scene of it, it's a wonderful vid. Your number 6 was lit much like it, did it bother you?

I think the woman just really liked you and it was hard for her to contain her self. I do think she meant well. And that she was just so excited. And she sounded super drunk too, some people can't shut up, specially when they are drunk lol. I liked her but I also get why people shouldn't just yell out and talk during the show.
Another reason I’m not pro-alcohol. Far too many people lose their self control and composure. How much is too much? It’s a fine line. Smoke a bunch of herb and laugh your ass off. Smoke too much and go to sleep. Never a hang over. That what convinced me. Granted, there are far too many ID 10 T’s out there who are irresponsible and don’t know how dumb they are, but I’d still rather talk to someone who’s stoned, than drunk.
As a bartender in an area where weed is legal, both can be equally annoying, drunk people can be dangerous, but the reality is that the vast majority handle both just fine and this kinda shit is more of an indication that somebody didn't follow the law on overserving, which means they weren't doing their goddamned job.

As someone who always wanted to try stand up. Steve's heckler videos are like a scared straight program. I grew up in the hood and went to a scared straight program. This is far worse.
Some people just CANNOT handle alcohol in any quantity! I think comedy clubs really shouldn’t serve as much alcohol for that reason, or at least test people to see whether they’re alcoholic.

I am pretty sure he does get tired of them. He just doesn't let hecklers ruin his show so he normally tries to nip it in the bud and move on with his show, maybe working a joke or bit around it to keep the interruption from being too disruptive. But in some cases it does get to the point where he just straight up tells them to get the fuck out.
Heckler number 4 was apparently recorded in a parking garage or a church youth center...dear lord that's the worst comedy club in the country other that Bert Reed's Comedy Strip in Waco or wherever it is. Jesus Christ Burt, we get it, you own a space in a strip mall. Grow up and stop begging for attention. I own a strip mall and I don't call it "Wade Newmans Strip Mall for People to Shop in". F-ing sad bro...just sad. You're all over town and being like "but I'm Bart Reid, I own a comedy club I rent space for, my name's on the wall!".
